I was so impressed from the moment I called to make the initial appointment for my 3 kids - the office staff was very knowledgeable about insurance benefits and out of pocket costs. We've been taking our 9 & 5 y/o to Dr. Ta and Dr. Tran since they were old enough to start visiting the dentist and we couldn't love them and his staff more. Everyone is so kind and gentle, from the front staff, doctors and to the hygienists, they all really go above and beyond to explain what they're doing in order to make my children feel comfortable. They've created a wonderful, warm environment that's made going to the dentist something our kids looks forward to. More recently, I had a newborn dx with colic and silent reflux. Unfortunately, she had trouble latching even while working closely with IBCLC. I was very close to giving up on breastfeeding until her chiropractor pointed out that a lip and tongue tie revision would benefit her. I called several ENT and they were booked out for quite some time. After doing some research, I learned that Dr. TA specialized in laser pediatric frenectomy so I called and Jennifer picked up...she could hear my cry for help. Jennifer empathetically listened to my concerns. She could sense my sleep deprivation. She immediately scheduled us for a consult the same day and even slipped in there that it may be possible for Dr. Ta to perform the laser procedure the same day. My prayers were answered. We are so grateful for Dr. Ta and his team. The procedure really corrected her latching, her reflux, weight issues and even my sleep deprivation and ppd. I can go on and on with how great they are! My 2 1/2 year old son had his first dentist appointment today at Kingstowne Pediatric Dentistry. I was a bit nervous since we pushed this appointment off, but we left the visit with me relieved and my kid happy and loving his "dentist prize" & no cavity club membership. The office was clean and covid compliant, they did vital checks at the door and kept a clear waiting room. Totally kid friendly and super cute. My son adored the waiting area and room he was in, so there was no anxiousness whatsoever while getting settled. The movie playing distracted my son and the Dr. Ta's bedside manner put my kid at ease. Dr. Ta was super informative and answered all my questions. They were able to do a full examination, cleaning and fluoride on my 1st timer. My insurance was out of network and I felt that the cost was appropriate. The office manager Wandeline was a pleasure to work with, she made a last minute appointment work for my friend's child who was experiencing pain and ended up needing two fillings, which they did same day. Dr. Tran and Dr. Ta are the 3rd pediatric dental office I have taken my kids to and, by far the best, in every category. The whole team work well together to make an otherwise daunting task (taking kids to get teeth cleaned/filled) seem like a breeze. I schedule my appointments early in the mornings so there rarely is a wait. When we walk in, usually the staff can recall our names and automatically check us in. Usually, my kids barely get to play the games in the entertainment center before we are called. They get a bit bummed but then happy to see that they can continue watching the movie while getting their teeth cleaned. The assistants and doctors are really good at making kids feel comfortable and distracted while their teeth are getting worked on. And to reward kids being good patients, they let kids pick out a prize at the end. After the dental work, my kids are back to playing at the entertainment center. They actually like going to the dentist, I wish I went to a pediatric office like this one when I was a kid. When I had what I considered urgent issues, they went out of their way to squeeze us in. The office is clean, very kid-friendly and team is welcoming, helpful and always smiling. I would definitely recommend this pediatric dental practice to my friends with kids. read more

We took both our kids (3yo & 1yo) in June 2021. We had delayed taking our oldest bc of the pandemic but felt we were pushing it off too long. We appreciated the covid precautions the office took when arriving at the office. You wait in your car until they call you in, minimizing contact with other families/patients, temperatures are taken at the entrance and masks are required inside. Since our kids are ineligible for the vaccine we truly appreciated the care being taken. Our youngest had fallen asleep in the car and they were very understanding and allowed us to keep him sleeping while our oldest went first. I went in with my daughter and my husband stayed in the car. We were in the Super Mario Brothers themed room. My daughter loved it! She's not familiar with the game but loved the vibrant colors in the room and the decorative theme. Dr. Tran and the DA, Victoria, were so nice and welcoming. They made the experience enjoyable and made my daughter feel excited about going back for her checkup. They explained everything that they were doing so she could understand the process. I appreciated the efforts taken to make her feel more comfortable and relaxed and make the experience a fun and memorable one. This was her first experience at the dentist and it was wonderful. She's excited to go back for her next checkup...and see the movie showing on the ceiling. When it was my son's turn, my husband was able to sit with him in the chair and hold him. It wasn't as smooth of an experience (especially after waking up from his nap) but the patience and attentiveness by Dr. Tran and Victoria were above and beyond dealing with a fussy and crying child. I'm so glad we took our children here. There were other offices closer to our home but the overall experience made it worth the extra drive. I took my 2.5 yo for her first dentist appointment and had a wonderful experience! When we first arrived the staff at the front were kind and had already gotten us checked in and all set. When we went back to the "Disney Room" Dr. Ta was welcoming, along with his dental assistant, and really helped my daughter calm her nerves by talking to her and letting her interact with the tools they'd be using during her appointment. We love this practice! The entire staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Not only is it super cute with its themed rooms, the dentists are really knowledgeable, friendly and great with kids. My daughter is a very stubborn toddler and even though she made it extremely difficult for anyone to get near her mouth, Dr. Tran and the dental hygienist were able to do everything they needed in between her thrashings. I took my 3 year old for her first visit and everything REALLY exceeded my expectations. The office is very kid-friendly, with lots of space decorations on the wall that my kiddo liked looking at. We both wore masks unless the hygienist or dentist were looking at her teeth, which was fine. They have TV screens on the ceiling above the chair for the kids to watch while their teeth are getting cleaned. Both the hygienist and Dr. Ta were super patient and low-pressure - they really wanted to make sure it was a positive visit first, and to take care of my kiddos teeth without any screaming. After the cleaning my kiddo got to pick out a prize, which she was super excited about. The only thing I will say is that the intro video on the website is not super helpful for young kids, actually the Daniel Tiger episode on going to the dentist really helped prep my little one. I was SO nervous about my little one's first trip to the dentist and am so grateful to everyone there who helped to make it a positive experience! read more

Words can't even express how grateful I am for this office. My son is autistic and has the strength of Hulk in diapers. Dr Ta is so kind, PATIENT and soft spoken. He takes the time to explain the procedure and keeps you updated as he goes along. He also has 2 assistants who too have the PATIENCE of a saint. The 3 of them work harmoniously together. Although I know they were wore out they kept a kind professional demeanor that almost makes you feel like they know your kid personally. Years later, after we left the practice for a variety of issues, including cancelled appointments, random closings on Saturdays, and inflexible office staff, I see collections start to show up on my credit report. Seriously the best children's dental clinic ever. They saw our three children today and did an incredible job with each of them. Our oldest daughter has a huge phobia of the dentist and they put her at ease immediately. She was smiling through the entire appointment and they even made time to do her sealants (even though that wasn't part of the original appointment). They saw that our youngest hadn't been seen and instead of having me make another appointment to get her seen, Dr. Tran took her and cuddled her and then gave her a dental exam. We moved here from Oklahoma because of the military. I am beyond impressed, my kids see Dr. Tran. She is so amazing, my kids love her! When my daughter (4) got a filling, she did not even have to numb it because she kept my daughter calm the entire time and she got it done quick. She sang her songs, encouraged her, and insured her she was going to be okay! My son (9) has had to have two teeth pulled and she was amazing with him too. He does not like needles at all and she kept him calm the whole time. He had an infection under one of his caps and she put him on antibiotics and got him in as soon as I called. I recommend her to everyone, she is the best pediatric dentist I have ever took my kids to. I am going to be sad when we move because I doubt we will find another Pediatric dentist as good as she is. The staff is always very nice as well, everyone truly cares about your child and they want them comfortable.
