It simplifies my life and allows me to handle tasks at midnight when I remember. Anyway, our visit was great. When we walked in, we were greeted by super friendly employees. They got us checked in and escorted my kid over to the kid's theater. She settled in and got comfy and before I knew it, they called her back. One thing I didn't love (but understood) was the fact that parents can't go back with their kids - you're expected to wait in the lobby. I've never experienced this elsewhere. My kid was fine, but I would've liked to see and ask questions and I recognize not all kids would be good with that. I'm not sure it depends on the age either, as a friend of mine had her very young daughter there for tooth extractions and she was asked to stay upfront. That does not detract from the great service, however, and the fact that my kid came out smiling. Kids get a little treasure at the end, which is super cute. I received a confirmation call at 3:59 p.m. for an 8:00 a.m. appointment the following morning. I initially confirmed, then immediately reviewed my schedule and realized I could not attend. I called back at 4:01 p.m., but the office was already closed, so I left a voicemail right away to cancel. The next morning around 8:20 a.m., I received a call from Mary, the secretary, that was confrontational and scolding in tone. I was told my actions were "unacceptable," repeatedly lectured about the 48-hour cancellation policy, and spoken to as though I were personally responsible for broader scheduling issues and other patients not showing up. When I asked why my only real-time communication about this appointment occurred one minute before closing, Mary responded dismissively that a reminder text had been sent weeks earlier. Given the timing, that text could have been sent during major holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's), winter break, or during recent weather closures--making it very easy to miss or forget. Relying on a single text weeks in advance and then reprimanding a patient is unreasonable. I understand office policies and operational stress, but patients should still be treated with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, the front desk experience overshadowed an otherwise positive visit, and I doubt I will be returning.

They really take the time to help them get comfortable with letting him brush a stuffed dragons teeth while cheering him on and answering all my questions to explaining how we'd get his cleaning down via teamwork between myself and the dentist to discussing tips on how to create positive dentist memories. I never felt rushed. I also appreciated the private room for little ones first time and an employee even came in just to hold my phone so he could see and hear his favorite songs to help him through the cleaning which honestly took just a few minutes for the whole thing and as soon as it was done they brought out a bubble blower that helped him quickly get over being upset about getting his teeth brushed. The bathroom was beautiful and clean as was the front waiting area which was colorful and had many activities for toddlers and older children and best of all giant vending machines that your child gets a special token to use after they are done- his adorable rubber duck from the machine quickly brought a smile to his face! The also take and provide you with a cute first visit dental photo printed out -it has a qr code to download the file- what more could you ask for!? The employees at the front desk also went above and beyond helping us check to see if another insurance would have better coverage and now we can add him to one of our other policies to get coverage at a much higher rate!
