Thank you, thank you, thank you Kinney's Towing and Tim!! I hit a deer on a Saturday evening on 30W in the Massillon area, about 2 hours from where I live in Columbus. I activated my roadside assistance through my insurance which was a headache to say the least. The first company they dispatched did not pick up my car, after 2 hours of waiting they said "they couldn't find the car" and cancelled the request. After jumping through several phone calls and frustrations with my insurance, Kinneys Towing was dispatched. I called right away to explain where my car was, and that I'm unfamiliar with the area but I did have a pin dropped. The dispatcher was so kind and understanding in helping to locate the correct area. As soon as I hung up, Tim the tow driver called me. He also listened as I tried to best explain where was my car was in an unfamiliar area. He called me once we located my car, once it was loaded and again when he had secured the car in their lot for the night, sending a picture along as well! After the scare of getting in an accident, being away from home and the headache of AI bots through my insurance, a thank you to Tim and Kinneys isn't big enough! Their kindness and update truly gave me piece of mind! I hope I never need a tow in the Akron/canton area again, but if I do, I will call Kinneys directly! We have used Kinney's in the past and had good service. The driver we just had was extremely rude. He hung up on me and was belligerent. My husband met him and he was a jerk to him too. I will NEVER use them again. read more

So when you buy a new car and it doesn't come with a spare and you get a flat, don't call Kinney's. They'll drag your rim across the concrete, jacking the edges up. The driver will also get grease in the interior of your brand new car. And then the owner will tell you they aren't going to fix the damage they caused to your new car. Literally, you'd be better off calling anyone else. read more

My insurance company called Kinney's for me to tow my car to Mr. Tire. The driver towerd it to a permanently closed location (wouldn't he know that?) Then, he/his dispatcher offered to tow my car to the new location for $60. When i balked at that and said it wasn't right. He suddenly had another call, deopped my car at the closed shop and left....Sad way to do business. read more
