My brand new lease. 2020 Ford Civic hatchback.

my second time getting a car from this dealership. I traded back my lease and got a brand new one and was very relieved to drive away in a new one , despite a drop in my credit over the past couple years.... Medical stuff, you know. But management worked with me and the sales person, and Honda finance approved me as a return customer. There are not many finance companies that will consider your circumstances. They will just go by your credit report and take your head off. It is true that if you treat Honda right, they will treat you right. Most dealerships will not. Certainly, the loan-sharks would not. The dealership is very clean, and the people are all pleasant. I have never felt uncomfortable or pressured. The sales person I had listened to what I needed and actively did her best to help me. They treat you like a person here and not like "fish food ".

I have had my vehicle serviced like clockwork with this location since I purchased my vehicle from another Vendor brand new 2013. I Never missed the recommendation for oil changes or anything with the vehicle. And then, in January, of 2022 I took my car in for the usual recommended oil change and servicing. Within a month, I started, noticing that the vehicle was not running as smooth as it should've been, and made an appointment to have It looked at & found out that there were "shavings in the oil" which meant there was a problem with the engine. The repair cost me over $5000 which totally blew me away because I have been on top of any and everything pertains to this car because I totally love my beetle bug! How can a person get their oil changed along with the factory recommendations on a vehicle a month prior to be told the next month that particles from metal were found in the oil pan from the engine? That vehicle was my only mode of transportation. Which meant whatever I had put aside and sell had to be used to get this matter fixed. Yes, the work was done on my vehicle. The Service workers Rock! I have not had any problems with it since and I shouldn't have problems because it cost me over $5000. About 5 months later, the motor went out for the Convertible Top. This also cost me over $5000! Which means I spent over $10,000 on my vehicle within a year. I do admit that it turned out that my daughters shoe somehow became lodged with the convertible top. When I used the mechanics to seal and close the top I take full responsibility for that, but I don't take responsibility, nor my bad feelings for what happened to me next when I came in to pay the second bill within a seven month Period. When I came in to pay, I wrote a check to cover the expenses and was told that they did not except checks for that amount of money. I reminded the workers behind the desk that I was there less than seven months ago and I paid them by check for the work that was done on my engine a month after I had it serviced by them I was told everything was fine with the vehicle after my routine recommendations were finished on my vehicle. I then went to my bank teller at Huntington Bank, and had a bank check issued and made out to Streetsboro Volkswagen in which the attendant held a check up in the air & then towards the ground as it to say to me that it was a fraud check. I was mortified at the time that he would do that because people were in line waiting to pay for their vehicles, I felt that my check was handled as though it was a fraud ad though I wrote a bad check when it was clearly a bank certified check. I was so embarrassed that I just walked away to cool off and came back in which I watched as another worker along with another staff member was in the back room, which had clear glass staring at the Huntington Bank Check and counting the numbers on the bottom of the check. I approached them and asked what were they staring so intently at? They said that they wanted to make sure the check had the 'proper' amount of information at the bottom. I replied ' i'm not sure what's going on here, . But If you need to have someone else check a certified bank check to make sure it's appropriate. You're probably in the wrong job. I walked away and contacted the management by phone the next morning to let them know what had happened. This is one of three situations within the past three years that have happened at this establishment and I'd rather take my car anywhere else to have it serviced than to the Volkswagen location in Streetsboro. Please understand, I don't have a problem with the mechanics; the mechanics I would give a five out of five stars! It's what I've been experiencing and dealing with the staff behind the desk, and in the back office with the windows has brought me to the point that I would rather drive to Medina, Willoughby, and even North Olmsted to have my vehicle serviced rather than 5 miles up the street to Streetsboro Volkswagen.

Emad also did a great sales job and was pleasant to work with. My biggest complaint was having to wait so long to get the paperwork signed. I had to wait over three hours to sign paperwork, it was after 10pm, the process was rushed and I didn't even get a copy until 3 days later after I had contacted them multiple times for it. Being late and rushed worked to their favor because I just wanted the car and to get out of there, so I ended up paying more than I expected and getting protection plans I wouldn't have normally bought. Luckily, I love the car, so my feelings are mixed about the whole process. Overall, 3 stars, there is definitely room for improvement. Autumn reversed my negative experience by being able to answer my simple question plain and simple after previously speaking to 3 other people who were unhelpful. Also, Emad thank you for getting me the rest of the information I was asking for. Autumn and Emad saved this review from being 1 start.

I know my rights and demanded it be removed. 2/they owed me $3900. took them 3 weeks to pay up and got the run around. they claimed they sent it to my loan company. I didn't have one. I owned my car outright ! took many phone calls where I was hung up on, transferred to full voicemail boxes or told calls would be returned when they were not. Finally got it but had to fight for it. 3/ drove an hour to get service they promised would be done and I would get a rental. When I got there (an hour away) they did not have a rental and the service guy did not know how to operate my car (tesla)! had to reschedule. The 2nd trip was ok. 4/ STILL NO TITLE after 45 days! This is the worst. I was told several different things and lied to many times. "it was mailed a long time ago" and "oh its a Memorandum title- it should have been emailed" (no, I own the car, its not financed so thats an outright lie as those are only when you finance), " if you dont get it by 3 days before your temporary tag expires, we will issue you new temporary tags via email".(um by the way, that is illegal in OHIO) oh and here is the best one yet " we had to get the lien off of it before processing it in your name" . Well now here we are- Plates expire tomorrow. Still no title. I reported them to the Attorney General and the BBB. Although this does not help me with expired plates and no ability to go to work now. Just do yourself a favor and avoid headaches- shop for a car elsewhere.

Less than 24 hours…read moreafter taking possession, I discovered the rear seat was not properly connected and the paint was chipped on both rear doors. The following morning, I immediately returned the vehicle. Given these issues were discovered almost immediately after leasing a brand-new vehicle, I expected Nissan of Streetsboro to take responsibility and make the situation right, including considering a replacement vehicle. Instead, I was told the issues were not sufficient reason to provide another new vehicle. I was told they would order a replacement seat and touch-up paint. Unfortunately, the situation continued to get worse. The service department contacted me and said they would pick up my vehicle and provide me with a loaner vehicle. The scheduled day came and went--no phone call, no vehicle pickup, no loaner, and no communication. I repeatedly contacted my salesperson, Dominic Walker, who told me he would speak with General Manager Brandon Boro. Despite my repeated attempts to get an update, I never received a call back. I eventually contacted the service department myself, only to be told that they did not have a loaner available. After I emailed Dominic and Brandon directly, Brandon responded, and I provided the date and time I was available to meet with him to review the vehicle and discuss the situation. I arrived at the dealership at the agreed-upon time, only to find out that Brandon had already left and had supposedly left Alan Spuzzillo in charge. Rather than meaningfully listening to my concerns, Alan seemed more interested in taking pictures of the vehicle than hearing my explanation. He eventually directed me to the service department regarding a loaner vehicle. After providing my driver's license and insurance information, I was then told I also needed to provide a credit card. Given everything I had already experienced, I was uncomfortable providing my credit card information for a loaner while my brand-new vehicle was being repaired for issues that were present when it was sold to me. Because I was unwilling to provide the credit card information, I was not provided the loaner vehicle I had previously been told would be available. Let that sink in: I leased a brand-new vehicle, discovered problems less than 24 hours, immediately brought it back, and the dealership acknowledged repairs were needed. I was then told they would pick up my vehicle and provide a loaner--yet they failed to follow through, and I am the one left dealing with the inconvenience. This is NOT how you treat a loyal customer. I have been leasing Nissan vehicles for nearly 20 years and have continued to bring my business to Nissan despite recalls and other vehicle-related issues. After nearly two decades of loyalty, I can say with certainty that I will not be leasing another Nissan after this experience. I have now had to make multiple unnecessary trips back to the dealership, while also putting additional mileage on a vehicle that I should have received in proper condition. I should not be responsible for the time, inconvenience, and additional mileage caused by problems that existed when the vehicle was sold to me. In my opinion, Nissan of Streetsboro should have taken responsibility from the moment I returned the vehicle the morning after purchasing it. Instead, I have experienced excuses, broken promises, unanswered calls, poor communication, and unnecessary inconvenience. I am still giving Nissan of Streetsboro an opportunity to resolve this matter promptly and appropriately. If this situation is not resolved this week, I will pursue additional avenues, including seeking legal advice and contacting the local news media. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Nissan of Streetsboro, my advice is simple: INSPECT EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE LOT. Check the seats. Check the doors. Check the paint. Check everything!

I told Jon Ruby what car I was looking for - right down to the accessories and trim and he found it for me. By contrast, it took me three months/untold numbers of phone calls to buy my last car and I didn't get exactly what I wanted. I never had to listen to sales pitches for things that would increase the dealer's profit but not the life, value or my enjoyment of my car (extended warranty/undercoating/financing) or any talk of "he'll probably throw your offer in my face, but I'll take it to the sales manager". What I did get was exactly what I wanted for considerably less than I would have paid if I had found it on my own - Jon more than made up for what I paid him in savings alone - plus he handled everything. I recommend Ruby Auto Group highly - if you're busy, just don't like the car buying experience and want to let an expert negotiate for you.

I arrived an hour early because I was working close and asked if they could fit it in or if it would be better to come back at my scheduled time. With some hesitation the manager told me they could fit it in. As I walk to sit down I hear her ask a tech if he wanted to do my allignment. He replied "sure, if you show me how to use the computer." I'm guessing he wasn't the aforementioned alignment tech. I was approached shortly after by the manager to tell me that they just realized I was there for a rotation as well. She told me that it would be real quick. A short time later I was approached again asking me to come out to the shop area. I followed and the tech that was doing the rotation could not figure out how to use the special socket to take the special shaped lugnut off of the front driver wheel. He told me that it was the wrong socket. I assured them it was the only one I had for them. The manager, being aggravated, told him to put the other tire back on and told me to bring the truck back Monday and they would do the rotation for no charge. It took the tech 15 minutes to reassemble my vehicle. I went in to pay and was charged $133 to have the first guy train how to do an allignment when I was expecting a tech that was experienced. I was pushed out the door so quickly that I never received the allignment printout showing the work performed. So not really impressed with the service I received. I took the truck home and did the rotation myself. And FYI the special socket worked just fine to take the special lugnuts off. The outside of the nut looks like a gingerbread man so the socket only fits on one way. I will not be returning to streetsboro NTB.
