I scheduled ahead of time to have my snow tires which are on their own rims put on. The tires with their lug nuts were dropped off. When I picked up my car and my regular tires, I was handed a box with not one set of lug nuts but three. The lug nuts that were placed on my car for the snow tires did not match and one tire had only three lug nuts, not four. When questioned, they argued with me and said that's what I gave them, whip is not true. As well, I should have only had one set of lug nuts returned, not three, and none of the lug nuts matched?? What did they do? I got no where with the owner as he refused to admit something wasn't right. I now also have a shake which I didn't have before and have to take my vehicle into another tire shop to fix. read more

My car was making very loud clanging noises and I was looking to have an inspection done on my vehicle. I brought it to Kinneys and three hours later they told me the only thing wrong with my car was that there was a bottle rattling around on my back floor. I would've been fine with this if when I picked it up the noise was not there anymore, the noise was still there and louder than ever and there was no bottle or anything in the backseat in sight. I paid $130 to park my car there for 3 hours. I would not recommend this business to anyone, it seems they just want to take your money without doing any work. If my car was filled with stuff I could see how they would think that maybe something was rattling around in the back but I had just cleaned my car out the night before, there was absolutely nothing that would be moving and especially making a metal on metal sound. read more

Buyer beware - Purchased used tires for my truck which would have been fine, however when they approached me about my brakes being bad I simply said that I had my son coming up this weekend to do them with me, so I wouldn't be needing their services on that. Well, when we tried to take the wheels off to complete this task, the lugs were tightened to the limit. Knowing that they were closed, I called Discount Tire to see if they could break them loose. They said sure, c'mon by FREE of charge. Well, after they broke the lugs loose they said that they even had a hard time getting them off and that they were put on with extreme psi. Which makes me believe that since I wasn't going to add the brake job to my bill, Kinney's wanted to make my time a little more difficult. We'll they didn't thanks to Discount Tire. I will NOT be using Kinney's in the future and will pass my experience on to everyone I know. ***Kinney's: please make the extra effort and hand tighten to the spec of the vehicle instead of being lazy/malicious with an air tool*** read more

Their markup on parts is excessive. I didn't read their (confusing) quote right and I was in a hurry just to get work done. Was pretty surprised when I got the final bill. Mostly my fault but geeez. They ended up not doing the work right on my brakes and had to take my vehicle back to get fixed (was dangerous to drive). Also they put completely rounded over lug nuts back on without telling me. Couldn't change them myself so they charged me almost triple what you could buy the same ones for online but labor was "free", even though they had to take the wheels back off anyways to fix the brake issues. Not sure how bad the nuts were to begin with since I just bought the vehicle so I can't prove they ruined them but it was unacceptable to put them back on and send me on my way without telling me. (They did recommend replacement of the nuts on the unlegible tech's notes but that didn't make it onto the final quote. Again I can't really prove they finished them off the rest of the way but it seems like it especially after reading that other guys review. They should not have put them back on regardless. Lastly they went beyond their original quote to me and charged me extra labor on something they didn't figure right to start with. I didn't make a fuss except over the lug nuts but no remedies from them. Just wanted to get away from there as fast as possible. Not a good experience overall read more
