The food was amazing and very flavorful. This is one of my favorite Ramen places. I definitely enjoyed my food and beer. Sapporo was on point. The servers were very friendly and helpful. They did a great job. We got our food fast and did not have to wait long. I got the Karashi Tonkotsu without meat and added corn, it was very delicious and just the right amount of spice. Ramen had a beautiful color and all the flavors went well together. Will definitely be returning to this location. Definitely a lot of others places to eat and shop around there. It's a decent ramen place in Arlington. We stayed in Arlington on vacation to go to Dallas and Fort Worth. There is no parking near the restaurant, but there is street parking nearby. They have a decent size of menu. You pay upfront for the meal at the kiosk, and they will deliver the food to your table. The food and service was good. I am glad that I visited here when I was in Arlington. I would go there again if I ever came to Arlington. Arlington is a great place if you are looking to visit Dallas and Fort Worth. read more

Love me some Kintaro Ramen. I have to frequent this area and every time I'm up here Kintaro is my must go. Really have not tried much else in the area because of them. The broth is so yummy and I've eaten at a lot of ramen places! Service is piece of cake. You use a kiosk and it's very simple to use! The Ambiance is pretty cool, I like the Fort Worth location ambience a little bit better. One thing I wish they would do is bring back some of the seasonal Ramen like the Lamb Birra and a few christmases ago they had like one of the best ramens ever a crab seafood one that literally blew my mind! This place is ok- not bad but not dying to return. You order and pay on a kiosk, for some this may be convenient, especially if you're taking out but I dined in and to me, it was impersonal. On to food, the ramen noodles were on the firmer side, the meat is charred so you get that charred tasted in your soup. The chicken Karage was good. This is definitely the go to place for ramen for university students in terms of taste and convenience. not so much for price. When you first walk in the door, there are two self-service ordering stations to the left, and you can sit anywhere that's available, at the bar if you're eating alone, or at one of the few tables. The ambience and decor is really nice, and the service is very friendly. We ordered two appetizers that were just okay. The Yaki Gyoza was $9 for 5 gyozas filled with pork, shrimp and cabbage, and although they were "pan-fried", they were not crispy at all. The Okonomi Fries were just frozen fries, seasoned really well to give it that okonomiyaki taste (also much bigger portion for only $6). All the Ramen is around $15. I am a fan of the Karashi Tonkatsu Ramen over the rest of the options as the flavor and spice is not too much. The mild spice was the perfect amount, their noodles are nice and thin, and they give a large amount of pork belly. They do not skimp out of the toppings. The Dracula's Bane Ramen was very creamy with a strong pork flavor but I much prefer the spicy tonkatsu. Both the broths of the ramen had LOTS of flavor in a pretty large portion. If you're in the area and in the mood for some quality ramen, this is the right place to go to! read more

Ordered Kintaro Ramen on a whim & was very impressed! My ramen craving was satisfied & next time I'll definitely try going in person rather than delivery. The pork, egg & greens were flavorful & seasoned to perfection. The broth was so good it could've been drunken separately. It was the perfect amount of spice in my opinion. I ordered the mild option, but they have higher spice levels for those who need to clear their sinuses. I ordered extra noodles but honestly the amount that was given with the ramen was more than enough. I really enjoyed all aspects of this ramen. The only thing I'll say against it is that the pork was pretty fatty, but that's normal & it was so good I didn't have a problem with it. Kintaro Ramen has a multitude of options on their menu & and if they're this good through delivery, I can only imagine how good it is at the restaurant. I'm visiting Dallas from Arizona and was craving for some ramen. I decided to check Kintaro Ramen due to the great reviews. The workers are very friendly and you order from a kiosk. After you order, you find a seat and they serve the food to you. The taste of the ramen is just not for me. I'm Filipino so in our culture, we eat a lot of salty food. The soup base here is just way too salty.. I ate about half of my order. Even the bao was super salty. I wish I would have read the owner's reply to the one yelper and would have asked for the soup to have lower sodium. Welp, maybe next time. read more

Great place next to the UT Arlington campus. Went there during a open-air concert and decided to get some ramen. Our first time there. It's Small establishment. Not many tables, a couple of tables outside. If you want that experience. When you walk inside for the very first time off to your left, there is a set of kiosks where you pick and choose from the menu and pay and then you find a place to sit down. The staff will bring your food to your table. The broth was really good, and the appetizer was really nice also. They have a few Japanese beers that you can choose from or you could choose something that's more light and common from a domestic point of view. They do have one or two types of sake if you like that. It's not hard to find because it's right next to inclusion. Coffee, and parking is pretty decent depending upon the time and date. I order the creamy vegetarian ramen and i was satisfied. I also ordered a side of habanero sauce ro add to it and it made it even more delicious. My friend ordered the pork ramen and swore it was "some good tasting pork" indicating its freshness was the biggest take away. It did take a minute for each order to come so it seems like the ramen is made to order so don't think you'll be in and out. She started to burst out crying and throw a tantrum during our time here but the staff didn't seem to mind which was nice because it's annoying when people give us ugly stares. Food was great! Overall seemed a little pricey but it makes sense since it is right by a college and their food is actually good so I can understand the slightly higher prices. Place was clean, they had indoor or outdoor seating with heaters outside. We sat indoors but there was plenty of seating inside and outside on their small patio. Ordering was simple as well since they have tablets at the front that you would place the order through and they would bring it out. They really pay attention because even though the tablet asks for a name, they didn't even have to call it out. They already knew whose table the food went to without any kind of assigned seating. I love the fact that you can customize your ramen order just the way you want. If you're unsure of what you want, the staff there will always happily recommend something for you. This restaurant was hard to rate. I liked it in the past, but I didn't have the most pleasant experience the last time I was there, but it's because it's not set up for me. I don't like that you have very little human contact with the staff. You walk in and order on the tablet. Which is fine if you know what you are ordering. I had to ask for help and was told to click on each picture to read the description. Which is fine but I want to be able to ask about the dishes. I also had a a couple of mimosas at the nail shop next door and wasn't willing to do research. I did ask for the spice levels, which is 3: mild (which I was told is zero spice), habanero, and a super spicy one. Well, I picked the habanero thinking that it was a happy medium. I can truly handle my spice and I struggled to eat this dish. It was way way too spicy. I got it down but it wasn't enjoyable. Which was a bummer. I will recommend the mild. Unfortunately. Once they have us our drinks and food no one willing checked on us again. Remember I was eating a super spicy bowl...I was dying. This was our first visit to Kintaro Ramen located in downtown Arlington near UTA. I have been checking this place out for a few weeks now today we wanted ramen, so we decided to check the new place out. We have been to a few ramen restaurants, so we are becoming self-proclaimed experts. We started with two appetizers the Paozu a fluffy white bun folded over with chopped pork inside, cucumber and slaw very good great flavor. Then we got the Pork Gyoza this was pan fried to order we watched her make it. The gyoza was crisp on one side and soft on the other very good flavor. We decided to have the cold house sake large size which gave us plenty to sip on during the meal. Then came the ramen I had the Karashi Tonkotsu which is a spicy pork broth with pork belly. At first, I thought not much spice, but the spice kept building. Turned out to be just right amount of spice. The pork belly was some of the best I ever had in a ramen. You can see them in the kitchen using a blowtorch to crisp up the pork belly. The egg in the ramen was also very good has a sweet flavoring. Great broth with perfectly cooked noodles. Portion was plentiful I was full afterwards. The restaurant is small with a little seating outside and inside. Had a good crowd the day we went but we still got seats. Restaurant is nice simple design. As soon as you walk in you grab a menu order on the little kiosk to your left pay with credit card only. Very simple no complaints then have a seat. They will bring you water and utensils then you wait for your food. Very good ramen good experience we will sure be back. read more

This is a small shop on Abram, not far from the library. You walk in, and order on the tablet. They do not accept cash. It is open seating so once you place your order, you make yourself comfortable. Water and utensils were brought very soon and I did not have to wait long for my ramen. The temperature was good. I have had some problems at other ramen joints, where they give you barely warm soup and your egg stays cold, I hate that. The egg was cooked perfectly, though slightly sweet. The broth was really good and the noodles were thicker than I expected, but were cooked well and I enjoyed them. I made my order online for a pick up. I got the Tonkotsu and it was absolutely delicious. I was about 15 Minutes away from when I picked up my order (8:45pm on a Sunday) Parking was easy right in front but on the weekdays I think it may be more difficult since the nearby business are open. My order was ready when I arrived and since I was so hungry I just decided to sit and eat it. I forgot to order the chai tea online and when the manager came by to check on me (which I appreciated) he said I just order on the kiosk. That was a little off putting since I literally just told him what I wanted and to have to get up and enter it was an inconvenience, I just didn't get it. I will definitely be back! The Tonkotsu ramen was so flavorful and I loved the bamboo shoots as I never tasted anything like it before. Customer service was good and place was clean. My order totaled $15.16 which was pricey but worth it. I saved the broth and froze it to add to some ramen noodles at home since it was that good and a way to get 2 meals in 1! read more
