We had such a great time. The staff was nice and the food was decent. It's so bit on the darker side for my liking. We started with the Lucky Leprechaun and Kips Old Fashioned. Starters Pub Pretzels and Irish Spring Rolls which were a great hit! Followed up with our entrees: Fish & Chips, Shepherd's Pie, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with fries and Boneless Wings with ranch and BBQ sauce. All of the food was decent and we all enjoyed it. The carrots in the Shepherd's Pie were still hard. Our table was wobbly, but our server Christina quickly assisted with fixing it. No other complaints. I didn't have the best time with photos as it was really on the darker side regarding lighting. Last, they do offer outside seating.

    The salad was very good!

We stopped by for dinner St. Patrick Day weekend. I was hoping for some food specials but all they had was green beer. I don't love the inside, a bit dingy and loud, but the patio is very nice! The happy hour appetizers were tasty, especially the pretzel sticks and fries. I also like the salad but would probably ask for more dressing next time. They were busy but the service on the patio was pretty slow.

Best pretzels ever with cheese sauce and mustard.

Five Stars! We've been eating at Kip's Irish Pub for many years, and we have never been disappointed. This most recent visit just confirmed why we keep coming back. We were in a hurry and let our server know - she was fantastic and immediately helped us choose items that would come out quickly. Our food arrived in record time, and we were in and out in about 20 minutes. The pretzel sticks are, by far, the best we've ever had -perfectly warm, soft, and absolutely addictive! The option between dipping in cheese sauce or mustard was the hardest part about eating these. We also loved the hummus platter (it came with some unique and tasty pairings) and the Irish egg rolls, which were delicious. Honestly, we've tried most items on the menu over the years, and everything has been great. (But the pretzels are a must every time!) The wait staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and we really appreciate how genuinely kind everyone is. Kip's is one of those places that gets it right every single time. We'll continue going again and again. Highly recommend!

Review from a first timer trying it out as an early week birthday celebration dinner! Vibe - It's giving upscale bar... I loved the set up and see it being a cool spot for special dinners and football Sundays alike! There were a decent amount of people there on a Tuesday evening, and it seemed like they frequent the place haha. Food - The pretzel appetizer was tasty, really good pretzels! I had the 10oz steak dinner, it was nothing special but good. Would recommend trying one of their more specialty dishes. Service - Friendly & quick. Parking in hotel lot was easy enough. Prices - High. But as I alluded, it makes for a good spot for a more-affordable special occasion dinner, and I think they have a happy hour as well worth taking advantage of!

Came here while staying at the hotel for work. Guinness was honestly awesome. Very crisp with great shtick, as you can see in the picture (8.9/10). French onion soup was good, but the bread was under the cheese and very soggy by the time I got to it. I'm a fan of places that put the bread on top so you can dunk it and decide how soggy to let it get (7.1/10). The cod fish was very good and I really enjoyed the tatar sauce /(8.3/10). The fries could've been crispier but I do like the Irish style (6.7/10). Old fashioned was meh (4.3/10). Barman was very nice and attentive. Ambiance is is that of a typical Irish live. Nothing overly cool, but no complaints.

Good ambiance. Good food. Presentation was nice. Facility was clean. Staff was nice.

Just an average bar- service was extremely slow even though it was not very busy not sure if they are understaffed Food was okay- very big portions so be aware when ordering There are better Irish bars in the city I prefer If I was staying at the hotel attached to here I would maybe eat here again but otherwise I wouldn't come out of my way to dine here again- not memorable

I stayed at the Courtyard in the Twin Cities area for a work trip recently. It's connected to a Marriott proper and the two hotels share amenities. One of them is a restaurant/bar at the Marriott called Kip's Irish Pub. I was feeling lazy after a 5+ hr car trip and decided to have dinner there. First off, I wasn't expecting the nice decor and theme of the place. Despite being called an Irish Pub, I figured it'd be more bland. But from the nice wood-heavy entrance onward, it was a cool looking place. Waiter was really friendly and attentive. I got a hummus platter for an appetizer as well as a buffalo chicken sandwich. The food wasn't out of this world, but didn't need to be. It was a perfectly good meal after a long trip. I'm playing to stay at this Courtyard regularly for my trips to the area, and I'd have no problem stopping at Kip's again. I'd summarize it was "solid" all around.

Huge bar top surrounded by TVs, lots of Irish decor, and cute booths that really lean into the theme. Unfortunately, things started off a little rough. The person I met there waited over 10 minutes at the host stand before anyone acknowledged them. I totally understand hosts may be on break or helping elsewhere, but with the restaurant nearly empty it was surprising that no bartender or server stepped in. Once we were seated, it also took a while before our server came by. That said, our server ended up being super friendly and attentive the rest of the visit. We ordered an Irish lemonade, a cold beer, and the Gaelic Whiskey Bites. They were exactly what you'd expect with an extra crunchy exterior, but the sauce was actually really good! Honestly made me wish I had tried a burger with that sauce instead, but we weren't hungry enough for more food. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood Irish bar, but nothing really stood out to me. I'd probably come back for the patio or on St. Patrick's Day!

This place is very generous with the amount of meat that comes with the order which is the biggest I've ever seen for its price. The vegetables are super good. I would definitely come back here and try their other foods, especially their chicken pot pie.

She was so kind and personable as well! The patio was also great and not too loud other than motorcycles passing. The pineapple salsa was also delicious but there was a lot of it and it really empowered the walleye unfortunately . The fries were great as well! We wouldn't recommend the BLT pictured. I was greeted by the hostess outside and although the patio looks lovely it was 96* and I opted for inside (I do not live in MN for the heat!). There are lots of fun photos on the wall and soccer team banners hanging from the ceiling. After being seated I was immediately given water and silverware and looked over the menu. There is a good cocktail, wine, and beer menu with Guinness, of course, and several Irish whiskeys. My server, Bill, was a delight. We talked about our dogs (mini dachshund for me, Malinois for him) and our shared love of Costa Rica. I ended up ordering the French Onion soup and a Lobster Roll with fries. The soup came out first and it was just as sumptuous and beefy as I hoped. The melted Gruyère and caramelized onions made a hearty starter. The Lobster Roll was perfect: chopped lobster on a warm, buttered, toasted roll topped with slivers of pickled carrots. The lobster was chilled and didn't need any dressing at all. The fries were plentiful, thin, and perfectly crispy yet still tender inside. A home run. Excellent food, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and terrific staff made it a delightful lunch. Thanks, Bill! ;)

Upon entering, you will notice a small bar with an adequately stocked bar, featuring about 8 taps and a number of canned and bottled beers for your liking. There are plenty of high-top tables and booths to accommodate a decent crowd. MaGillycuddy's Bar is one of those places that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often. The crowd is just what one would expect, just regular folks enjoying a libation and watching the Wild game. And they have pulltabs!! We settled in on a high-top table and ordered beers and our lunch. The Nashville Hot Shrimp is a must-try. just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The Guinness cheeseburger is an open-faced burger topped with fries, Guinness cheese sauce, and, of course, bacon. That was a bit messy, and was enjoyable, but there are some other items I will want to try before going back to that entree. Between the solid food offerings, the friendly vibe, and the cool interior, MaGillycuddy's has all the makings of a local favorite. If you're anywhere near Aonka, do yourself a favor and stop in--you won't regret it.

There is a parking ramp and street parking in the area. Both are free. They were decorating for Halloween and it gave us such a fun vibe! We were immediately welcomed in and the service was phenomenal the entire time we were there! I would go back on service alone! The upstairs area isn't overly large but they do have tables, booths and a bar to sit at. There was a sign that said "basement closed" so I assume there was more down there. There are TV's, so this would be a cool spot to grab a beer and watch the game for sure! There is also a small outdoor seating area and is next to a fountain. The food: The deep fried pickle spears were good! The batter is light and crispy! However, because these are spears, they took a long time to cool to properly eat. It comes with jalapeño ranch, which has a slight kick but nothing crazy. I recommend getting the regular ranch too! My boyfriend got the Reuben and noted it was "solid." I got the deep fried buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries! Both were excellent! The chicken was seasoned well before battered and the sweet potato fries had a sweet/lime/seasoning that was unique and tasty! This is definitely worth checking out!

McCabe's is very small, unpretentious, and friendly. The coolest thing is the drive-up liquor store. You drive up to the window and the bartender inside hears a "ding" like the old time gas stations. Actually, it really IS an old gas station bell. (Check out my photos for an inside view of the mini-liquor store.) I've been here twice. The first time was only a brief visit to check it out and to get directions. But I returned today as a customer and I was amazed that the bartender remembered my name, remembered where I was from, and remembered what I asked him the first time. Impressive!
