    Lobster and Shrimp Linguine

Saturday evening and we go seated right away. Service was friendly and quick. We had some fried claws as a starter and lobster shrimp linguine and grilled salmon as main course. Followed by great dessert. Food was excellent

Great place and wonderful people. Went for breakfast food was delicious and the place is just like a pub in Ireland.

We went to an outdoor event in downtown Wayzata and stopped in for dinner. The decor is cozy and we were seated by the fireplace, which was nice. There were a couple of pasta dishes that sounded really good to me but I was hesitant to try them since this was an Irish pub. I went with the crispy chicken Cesar salad and it was tasty. Perfect amount of dressing and cheese and the chicken was tasty. One negative is the kids meals are quite expensive, I believe $13 for just basic kids food. I also didn't like the water (I know it sounds weird but it really tasted like tap water and didn't have ice). Other than, perfectly nice pub in a prime location.

McCormack offers fast and friendly service with a beautiful view of the lake. Parking is a bit limited, but there are parking structures available. The food was tasty--my husband loved his burger, and my club sandwich really hit the spot. A great spot for a meal with a view!

I'll start off by saying that our server (I can't remember her name) was amazing! She was attentive and honest with questions about the menu and was timely. She was so kind and personable as well! The patio was also great and not too loud other than motorcycles passing. We started off with ordering the walleye tacos entree but just ate it as an app since we were hungry! The tacos were huge and the walleye was good but we wish there was more. The pineapple salsa was also delicious but there was a lot of it and it really empowered the walleye unfortunately . The fries were great as well! We wouldn't recommend the BLT pictured. Not sure what happened but we probably should've sent it back but we just aren't that kind of people and we eat what we get. I got a salad but modified it so I didn't want to show a pic that isn't accurate of the salad. It was the apple buttermilk and it was good! Overall good experience and I do believe we would go back but order different items next time! Would have been a 4 but struggling with the BLT.

The ambiance is wonderful, both inside and out. Outside there is a view of the lake under a covered patio, inside is warm and inviting, what you think of for an old Irish pub. We sat inside in the bar due to a bee problem outside, this was not our intent, but glad they told us about it vs just sitting us out there. Overall the service was slow, we waited 15 -20 minutes to get our first drink. I ordered a Rachel, that came with a "special sauce" that has a kick to it. Unfortunately my stomach can't handle anymore kicks- totally my fault that I didn't look closely at the menu, where it clearly calls out special sauce. Lesson learned, look at the menu before ordering. The bottom piece of bread was soggy, my guess it was from the sauerkraut. I order Rachels all the time and have not had this happen before, I wonder if other restaurants I drain the kraut better to prevent this. I requested aioli to dip my fries in, I think I got straight mayo. My husband got the Fish and Chips, he was not impressed, he cannot pinpoint why, but it just wasn't that good. Coleslaw was good, but the compote of tartar sauce was not full and not enough. Both our orders came with plenty of fries. To McCormicks defense, we did not bring up any of this to our server, it had been a long week and neither of us were in the mood to complain.

Starting with the setting it is on lake st with a million dollar view of lake Minnetonka Yes "Princes" Purple rain lake Minnetonka it's a real Irish pub in Minnesota. They have a great menu all prepared with skill and pride we love coming here I had the fish and chips fresh perfectly prepared my wife had the mushroom Swiss burger and she loved the truffle fries we ended the meal with a key lime pie slice so sweet. The service is great with the servers knowing there fare well and the Guinness glows like spring water

Parking is at a premium in Wyzata, but it's free. I have yet to go to McCormicks and not find a spot within a block radius. But that's not why you go to McCormicks. You go for the Guinness. By far, the best I've found in the state and arguably, the best I've found anywhere. Not that I haven't had a single poured Guinness better in Boston, because I have. But it was one pour, vs every single time, getting something worthwhile. Honestly I can not speak highly enough about their Guinness. It's everything I could have ever hoped for so much more...every...single...time. Don't get me wrong, their food is good, their signature burger is wonderful, their truffle fries, worthy of brining home. But what gets me is obviously the Guinness. They are a super inviting bar/restaurant with wonderful views but you're going to be hard pressed to find an Irish pub with this much cleanliness, friendly and fast service, and warm feeling when you walk in the door. Honestly it's one of the few places I still visit where I feel like money was well spent. Love this place.

We expected it to be packed, but we were seated right away. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded or noisy, which made it easy to relax, enjoy our meal, and actually have a conversation. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and professional. I wish I had gotten her name before we left because she provided great service throughout our visit. I started with the iced lavender oat milk latte, and it was delicious. We also shared the famous monkey bread, and it definitely lives up to all the hype I've seen online! We ordered it with both the cream cheese and caramel, and it was amazing. The monkey bread was incredibly soft, fresh, and the portion was huge. I've had monkey bread at other local coffee shops before, but the texture here is on a completely different level. For breakfast, I ordered the French toast, and it was made well. I appreciated that it wasn't overloaded with whipped cream. My husband liked the crispy bacon and his chocolate chip pancakes he said they were rich and fluffy. We'll definitely be back. Everything from the food and atmosphere to the service exceeded our expectations. This place is simply too good not to return!

So I found Benedict's online and thought it looked like a good choice. The restaurant itself is really bright open and airy. Lots of natural light and high wood beams. The restaurant employs an online wait list, which I love. So you join the wait list online, it tells you how long your wait is and the you can plan your arrival to minimize your wait. I was surprised that on a Saturday, we walked right in and were seated... it wasn't all that crowded (that said, there was a big No Kings rally that day so people might have been busy). At any rate, we were greeted and seated immediately at a nice table. I enjoyed the many options on the menu and also loved that you could order a single specialty pancake if you wanted one. I ordered the classic benedict. My husband got the tot hash. We ordered a strawberry nutella pancake to share. The pancake was good, though honestly the nutella strawberry topping was a bit meh. My husband said his tot hash was not what he expected (they seem to make their own tots and then deep fry them) but he did like it. My benedict was decent, but there was way too much ham and not enough hollandaise. I hate when people are stingy with the hollandaise. Coffee was good and strong. My peach mimosa was fine but honestly pretty small -- I'd be surprised if it was 8 oz. Service was OK. Nothing super major to complain about, but my mimosa wasn't delivered until I was almost through my first cup of coffee. The waitress clearly just forgot about it. She basically said so and apologized. I noted that many tables had lovely little bottles of water for when you wanted to refill your glass, but we did not receive one. It also bothered me a bit that there was a lot of "stuff" on the floor. Trash, bits of food, etc. I know that things get really busy at brunch spots on the weekends. But someone really needed to go around with a broom or a vacuum. It's just not what I expect from a dining establishment where I'm going to drop $80 on breakfast for two.

We arrived at 11:15 a.m. and waited 20 minutes in line to order. My sister and her kids received their food in about 20 minutes. My daughters and I, however, waited nearly 50 minutes after ordering (over an hour total) and never got our food. When I finally went up to check on our order, I had to wait another 15 minutes to speak with manager Meghan Walsh. She couldn't find our order, interrupted me mid-conversation to help someone else, and only located it after I suggested she search by my credit card. She was defensive and unpleasant the entire time. She argued with me when I requested a refund, eventually offered only 50% off, and later came to our table to blame the delay on a busy Sunday while disputing how long we had waited, despite my receipts. What should have been a memorable family meal turned into one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I will never return to The Grocer's Table.

It's easily one of the better lobster rolls I've had and was a highlight of the meal. Other dishes at our table included wings, flatbread, and the cauliflower dip, all of which were excellent. Portions were generous across the board, especially the apple crisp, which was large enough to share and a great way to finish the meal. What truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere. The restaurant buzzes with activity, creating a vibrant setting where friends and families can gather, socialize, and unwind. Between the lake views, beautiful décor, and lively crowd, it has an energy that makes you want to linger and enjoy the experience. Touching on our anniversary, I called and made a reservation 3 weeks prior and begged the host on the phone to put us in a quiet corner, not in the middle of the room. I had very special plans and was going to present my wife with a beautiful new diamond ring to replace the one she got 15 years ago on our 10th. When we arrived, we were placed at a very small table right smack in the middle of the room!!! I asked the host when she tried to seat us if she could please put us in the corner table, which was vacant, and was told no, this is the best table we can give you. I was NOT HAPPY!!! The most uncomfortable thing is finding a place to park. If you can't find a spot in the lot, tracking down a street spot that isn't only 1 hour can be a challenge or a bit of a walk. We started with cocktails and Bread is Life appetizer (5/5). Bread is indeed life. We needed two baguettes to eat the three butters/sauces. The whipped ricotta and honey was my favorite, but the chimichurri was a close second. For entrees we split the Beet and Watermelon King Salmon Salad (3/5), A Fat Burger (5/5), Chilled Lobster Roll (4/5), and the Spicy Lobster Mac and Cheese (5/5). The salad was good, but the salmon didn't have enough seasoning for me. It's also more of a traditional watermelon salad vs lettuce salad. The lobster roll was good, but of course mostly bread. It was a hardy sandwich and filled more than other restaurants. The burger was in fact fat, cheesy and juicy. The sandwiches come with hand cut fries (5/5) and an aioli. While the Mac and cheese says it's spicy, it's more of a Minnesota spice. It's a shareable portion, but no more than 3 people if they have other food. For dessert we ordered the Mud Moon Pie (4/5). When they say it's served with a knife they mean it. The portion size is huge! Like 6-12 people could eat on it. We ended up sharing with the table next to us. We were warned it was shareable, but I wish there would have been a smaller portion option to select. We felt so wasteful not being able to eat even half of it. We loved our server. We never felt rushed, our water glasses were never empty and she split the bill with our individual dishes and then split the shared items (I love when they do this vs giving us one bill). While the prices are a little high, the portion sizes and quality of food make it worth it.

Went to Josefina for dinner last night!! It's a beautiful restaurant!! I love all the plants and…read moremood lighting. By the time I made reservations there was only space for patio seating which which not as pretty actually had better lighting for photos it was pouring rain at times and I wondered how the patio roof would hold but it did really well just a few drops and the floor got wet so they helped us move our table over a bit Food and drink: I started off with the cocktail of the moment it was a mezcal drink with raspberry and made with Calabrian chilis came topped with a cute little pepper on tops. The chicken was great too!!

A friend selected our restaurant before attending an event in Wayzata. There are two public parking…read morelots on either side of the building strip as well as street parking. Be prepared if you go at dinner time parking will be busy and slightly hard to come by. If you find a spot, take it! We had a reservation, but I don't think we really needed one. We sat in the bar area. The decor was absolutely beautiful. I loved the vibe and being able to see the wood fire pizza oven. We ordered Burrata for the table and ended up needing an additional order of bread. The dip to bread ratio is always off. The burrata was more creamy rather than a ball of cheese. I really enjoyed the kumquat with it, but wish there were more of them. We also ordered crispy Brussels sprouts for the table. I love a Brussels sprouts. These were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I ordered the Mafaldini Cacio E Pepe. It really was pepper forward and I wasn't mad about it at all. I thought the serving size could have fed two people, especially if you are sharing other items. A couple things that I was not prepared for. This is a "dinner should take hours" type of establishment. We were picking at the appetizer and the server had to come over and ask if we were done and if she should put in the order for our entrees. Meanwhile we were still eating the appetizer because we thought we were waiting for the entrees. And then when it came time for the check and getting boxes for left overs they will take your food and box it up for you. I didn't realize this when I asked for the check and someone's food was taken as she was mid bite (oops). They also did one check for three people and never asked if we wanted to split the bill in any sort of way. They also only gave us one bag for our left overs, even though all of us had food to takeaway.
