It blew us away how fresh it was. Rice was still soft and overall fresh. Than we found it in Maine and New Hampshire. This is really fresh rolls as we went at 3pm and there was still someone over the counter making the rolls. My kids misses this the most on our road trip to New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. Which I usually avoid that word because it's too subjective, but it seems to fit here. Major exception is the chashu pork. It was overcooked to the extreme. No other word for it, these dried out circles of meat were thick and chewy, and soaking them in the broth couldn't save them. Sad. Otherwise, some of the best ramen I've had since leaving Japan. The only other note I'd have is I just wanted some tea, and had to order a weird tea concoction to get it. Sometimes you'd just like an oolong tea, nothing fancy.
