I really only ever get takeout from here, I eat from here very often. I always get the same dishes usually, shrimp chowmein and shrimp fried rice, never have complaints. These are signature dishes for me, I like the portions and I think they're delicious. Their lunch specials are about $9, depends what you get, I do the mongolian chicken and I've tried the beef and broccoli and shrimp with vegetables. You pick the main dish and get a side of steamed rice or pork fried rice and get a soup to pick from, I do miso. These specials are m-f, from 11-3pm. In terms of service, it's usually friendly but I can't speak to the service you receive when you sit down and eat as I only do takeout. However the many many times I've been in, the atmosphere has been pretty quiet.

First timers and ordered thru DoorDash. Both dishes were really good and hot when delivered. Looks like this will be our go to restaurant for authentic Chinese food.

Service and food are fine. Fair priced food and the equivalent in quality. I had the 3 sushi combo, it came with miso. The green tea was good. I also bought a melon Ramune because i had never heard of it. Photo is attached.

Do they use MSG? I'm allergic.

I am highly sensitive to MSG and had no adverse reaction to my meal. If you are allergic to it, it would be prudent to ask the staff. I understand that some foods may contain small amounts of MSG that occur naturally.

As…read moreone time salmon worker in AK, I am a stickler for absolute freshness of the fish, and was happily surprised at the quality I found at Oishii Sushi. Salmon and tuna rolls were especially good at the price point offered. One must look and then decide, as each little plate of sushi rolls/veggie items/desserts trundles by on a continuously revolving belt. The menu is broad and features an array of Japanese dishes for those not interested in Sushi. I enjoy sushi and Japanese food, and found this hidden gem in Springfield to be top notch for quality and cost. Family friendly and the revolving belt of small entrees is most enjoyable for children of all ages. Sushi items are offered at three different price points, lending flexibility to those on a budget. Five Stars from visit about 7 pm in mid May, 2026. Best to arrive early for dinner to get adequate seating and best fish. Can't wait to return!

However, seared salmon Nigiri, unagi nigiri, and salmon Toro were very good. It met my craving. Fried calamari and chicken karage were also worth trying! Nice interior, and was waited on quickly. My waitress brought water, and took my order for green tea. It came quickly, a full mug, and a lovely little cast iron teapot with a second serving. Good tea, too! I ordered the nine piece Hamachi sashimi (on a diet... no carbs, lol)! I was brought a six piece... and let the waitress know that. Told her the six piece would be fine for now. Lovely presentation, and the hamachi was beautiful. Fresh too, no fishy odor and the color was good. It was delicious. I would eat here again!

Today I went and got a 'Caterpillar' roll and 'Day Dreamer' roll. Let me break it down for you. Caterpillar roll: AMAZING 10/10. I love sushi and this is a go to roll for me NO MATTER WHAT. This roll is always good, but Sushi Pure makes it amazing, the taste, texture, and fulfillment it brings is unmatched. Day Dreamer roll: Very Solid 7.75/10. This roll had me in a chokehold for a second. That's neither bad or a good thing. The taste all around was very good, but the texture through me off (more personal problem, so many of you may love this). It was like soft, then crunchy, then popping due to the fish egg. All around I would recommend, but it may not be for everyone. The servers I've had both times have always been so kind, quick moving, and motivated so the service is unmatched as well. All in all, Sushi Pure is a must try with an amazing atmosphere!

Solid spot if you catch their happy hour--definitely the move here…read more Happy hour deals are worth it, with a good variety across nigiri, rolls, and apps. The fish itself was decent--fresh enough and clean-tasting, but not blowing you away. Think reliable neighborhood sushi rather than anything premium. Standouts were the baked mussels and simple nigiri--nothing fancy, but they hit. Rolls lean more on the saucy/heavier side if that's your thing.

Poor Service and Unacceptable Substitutions I visited this…read moreestablishment with my daughter for a Mother's Day dinner. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty at 7:30 PM, the operational execution was incredibly poor. Service Delays: While a glass of wine arrived promptly, a single cocktail took 50 minutes to hit the table. Our appetizer required a 30-minute wait and lacked basic seasoning. Lack of Communication: The kitchen ran out of a core ingredient for one of our five sushi rolls. Instead of informing us, they unilaterally substituted a different roll, assuming we wouldn't notice. When addressed, staff insisted the replacement featured real crab, though the quality and texture indicated otherwise. Staff Inconsistency: Our primary server disappeared early in the evening, leaving us to track down other staff for updates. Because of the extreme structural delays, our food arrived just 30 minutes prior to closing, resulting in a rushed and uncomfortable conclusion to our meal. Had the restaurant been busy, lapses in timing might be understandable. Given the low volume of diners, this was simply poor management. I will not be returning.
