They have Reuben with real meet which very impressive and delicious. The sandwich was a bit greasy (bread), but this probably a personal preference and I should've ask to prepare it without butter or oil. Salad bar was ok. Turkey sandy is very interesting and has a gravy. Mashed potato was really delicious.

The hungry traveler breakfast. Pancakes in another dish.

It was an excellent breakfast with quick service. The food was nice and hot; the eggs and bacon, hashbrowns were super!

Greetings from the beginning of the Great Plains in Lexington, Nebraska. First, the food was really good (4 to 4.5). However there are a few reasons why I cannot give it a higher rating. When I walked in, three tables were occupied by about 8 people. But, two of the booths were still dirty, as was the floor. Since it was seat yourself, I took a booth nothing in the place for one person) and waited a minute or two before the hostess/server brought me a menu. I ordered a ribeye steak (Nebraska beef), baked (actually steamed since it have the foil on it) potato and the vegetable of the day, which was green beans. I also ordered a local brew called Linkin Up. Between customers dropping food crumbs onto the floor, and the help wiping the tables down, letting the crumbs hit the floor, was a bit too much. They have secured Wi-Fi. But it's so weak, that even in the restaurant, my phone did not accept it because of the poor signal.

Regular dining room but if you look closely you will see the ultimate seating open to all who know if its.

I came in here repeatedly because their prime rib sandwich is ridiculously amazing the best thing I've had I had it like six times it was so good

    No hostess to be found.

Stand alone restaurant and bar attached to a truck stop. Excellent prime rib (their speciality).

Araceli did a great job and the chicken buffet was great! The Swinging Door saloon was nice and cool on a hot day!

Pricing is reasonable. Food was just ok. Average at best for a truck stop cafe. Service is friendly. Avoid the salad bar.

Taylor was amazing, our bartender made perfect martinis and the food was off the charts! The shrimp cocktail was six of the biggest shrimp ever, the Chicken Dianne was rich and delicious and hubby's Wagyu Ribeye was spectacular! The show stealer was the pork belly, it was rendered to the perfect melt point with a flavor all it's own, no sweet sauce, just pork! It's in the middle of nowhere but oh so worth the trip!

I always take advantage of that by trying out the local fare. This place was special and deserves all the stars! It is at the corner of 3 or 4 farm roads kind of in the middle of nowhere. You walk through a series of doors before entering the hostess area. It was dim lit as you would expect a speakeasy to be and I was greeted immediately. I was by myself and the bar was open so that's where I went. It was busy and had I been with more people we would have needed a reservation.. it was pretty busy. I ordered the house special drink which was a dirty martini with blue cheese olives and it was perfect. I then ordered the 9oz sirloin which you can have it with just the normal seasoning or they have a list of ways you can get it like Oscar, béarnaise.. etc. I got it with a red wine mushroom reduction and it also comes with a salad and 1 side. All the dressings are house made and I picked mashed potatoes and brown gravy. The steak was cooked just the way I asked which was medium rare, it was juicy, seasoned well and the red wine reduction just added to the deliciousness. The mashed potatoes were buttery, soft, light and airy and the brown gravy wasn't overly salty and was perfect! I would love to bring my wife to this place if I'm ever in that area. I might even take a trip just to go to that place!

If you don't turn into this restaurant immediately, you get to enjoy an overly complicated labyrinth where every single sign tells you that you cannot enter the restaurant. Long story short, if you don't turn right into the restaurant, you might as well go to the next closest one. The ordering and paying was not a problem (although the screen that shows your order was broken), but receiving the food was. After giving us all drinks of the wrong size, the employee showed clear signs of agitation. If this wasn't bad enough, after ordering 2 diet cokes and 1 regular, the same employee gave us the regular coke saying it was a diet. This could have been catastrophic, as this was given to a diabetic in our party. Aside from this, the Egg McMuffin was burnt, and there was no meat inside. I was extremely disappointed with the experience, and I'm hoping that no one else has had similar problems.

We waited another 8 minutes for two mcdoubles and fries and that wasn't even done right. Asked for extra onion and none of their gross pickles on one burger.
