My kids are 16 and 19 and loved every bit and want to do it again. I felt like the level 3-4 was doable though we had some close calls. Out of the 6 raft's no one went over. Theses guides are skilled. The time is exhilarating and serene at the same time. You get to to tip your guide after. We also choose to get a digital photo which the photographer does an incredible job capturing our moments. After you get to enjoy some of the best hot chocolates in town or coffee. This establishment is legit. It's a bit pricey after everything is done but so worth the experience with the family!

I was on a family vacation to Jackson Lake July 11th - July 14th 2019. Unfortunately I hit a rock…read moreon the lake and didn't have a replacement prop. I called around and the closest place I could find a prop was at Yellowstone Marine Co. I spoke with John and he sent me pictures and we made arrangements to meet for me to pick up the new prop. I had to travel through Yellowstone park both ways 3.5 hours on a Saturday When I arrived he said the only way he would make a transaction was by cash. And he was going to cut me a deal $490 for a new prop. I had to go to an ATM and scrounge around for some extra cash to make up the difference. He then grabbed the prop opened the box indicating it was brand new and we made the transaction. I went back to Jackson lake pulled of the old prop and put on the new prop. We went out on the lake but instantly noticed there was some bad vibrations when I accelerated. I assumed the worst that I had bent my drive shaft on my boat. Fast forward I took my boat into A-Rock Propellers in Salt Lake. They did a full inspection of my boat and nothing was wrong with my drive shaft. But what they did find out is that the prop I was sold from Yellowstone Marine Co was bad. 3 out of 4 blades were bent and one blade was really bad. Looking at it visually you wouldn't notice how bad they were bent. But A Rock is the foremost expert on blades. Which brings me to my review. Yellowstone Marine Co. sold me a bad prop for a premium price. I tried reaching out to John to see if we could work out some type of agreement or a way for him to make it right. I ended up having A-Rock Propellers fix the prop for an additional $55.00. I am now into this prop $545.00 for a used prop that was bent. John what are you going to do about making this right???

New Coach Patrick, our guide, is phenomenal! I think our family has caught the fly fishing fever! We caught a variety of beautiful trout ranging in size 12-17 inches. He was so friendly and cared about every detail. We started with training and then hit the water. He was very patient and continued teaching throughout the day. He taught us about the area, the river and pointed out an Eagle flying overhead. We caught at least 10 fish, but only netted 3 or 4. Definitely not Carl's fault. Though they only sold fishing licenses for in the park, they were so helpful showing me on the map of local, out of the park, rivers and lakes, I could try. Also they were so helpful to tell me where I could get a Montana fishing licenses and bait to use. They informed me of a lot of rules I needed to know too. They were busy and I was impressed they took the time to help me out when they knew I wasn't going to buy anything there. I really appreciated their time and great customer service. Thank you. BEST TOUR EVER!…read more First, we are not "tour" people. We like to travel on our own and rarely find a tour company that does what they say they will do. That said, we loved our tour with Teton Floats! We took the two day Yellowstone tour out of Jackson Wy. The company was fabulous to work with. Kilmeny Hall, one of the company owners and tour coordinator, handled everything from our reservations to lunch orders. She is a true professional gem and is so accommodating. She answered all of our questions, and made the whole booking process so easy. Our tour guide, John Putrino, was absolutely the best tour guide we have ever had anywhere! He is organized and efficient in everything we did for two days. He knows all there is to know about Yellowstone and surrounding areas. He has a great spotting scope which allowed us to see even those far away animals in the park. We were able to see many bison, bears, and even a wolf pack (eating a baby bison). We also saw elk, prong horns, and a moose! We were also able to see many birds, including Trumpeter Swans, Sandhill Cranes, various hawks, and ravens. John knows all the best places to look for and see animals, as well as terrific spots to have lunch. Lunch was provided both days and the sandwiches were delish (along with the chips, cookies and fruit). The tour includes waters, binoculars, and granola bars. The van is very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. We had bathroom breaks and rest stops whenever needed. The two day tour was amazing. Day one we saw all the geothermal features, including Old Faithful, and the Grand Prismatic Spring. John told us where to stand for the best views and led us around all the features with lots of interesting information. We spent the night in Pray Montana at the Chico Hot Springs Resort, which we would highly recommend. Great cabins and a nice restaurant with a more casual Saloon if you don't want a huge meal. Day two was focused on wildlife and waterfalls. We went to the Lamar Valley and other areas including Yellowstone Lake and the upper and lower Falls. We cannot say enough great things about Teton Floats two day Yellowstone Tour. John is the best and is so knowledgeable and thoughtful. A joy to spend two days with! We are definitely going to return and take this tour again! Don't miss it.
