Though they only sold fishing licenses for in the park, they were so helpful showing me on the map of local, out of the park, rivers and lakes, I could try. Also they were so helpful to tell me where I could get a Montana fishing licenses and bait to use. They informed me of a lot of rules I needed to know too. They were busy and I was impressed they took the time to help me out when they knew I wasn't going to buy anything there. I really appreciated their time and great customer service. Thank you. He was so friendly and cared about every detail. We started with training and then hit the water. He was very patient and continued teaching throughout the day. He taught us about the area, the river and pointed out an Eagle flying overhead. We caught at least 10 fish, but only netted 3 or 4. Definitely not Carl's fault. His students got a little to excited and pulled the hooks. We loved learning from and fishing with Carl and definitely recommend him for YOUR adventure. Thank you Carl.

In addition to the ax, throwing and high-end knives, they carry moderately priced, mass-produced knives as well. I would say that one of the best things about the shop, however are the fine Swedish axes, the custom, American forged axes, the various buffalo robe, mountain man, and other high-end versions of rustic and traditional western clothing and items. They even have high-end, new, cast iron. if you have never held a multi thousand dollar knife, or felt a knife so sharp that a slight touch will sever an artery, this place is for you.

Trent was extremely knowledgeable about Yellowstone's natural wonders and the best places to view wildlife. He was flexible, patient and very accommodating. He went above and beyond even sticking around to take us to west Yellowstone restaurants after our daily tour. We saw all the natural wonders on our list, as well as most of the wildlife. We had some special moments like a momma grizzly with three, two year old cubs; a large bison traffic jam with babies, called red dogs; a baby elk hiding as it's mother is gone off feeding; a mountain goat with a baby; Coyote cubs; elks with calves; a black bear couple; and a wolf with cubs moving about. Because we are bird watchers, Trent adjusted our tour to accommodate some bird watching and we were able to check off quite a few birds on our life list. In setting up our tour, David was fantastic. He was patient and accommodating for our lodging needs. This made our trip extra special. We highly recommend Yellowstone family adventures for your trip to Yellowstone. We chose the 2-hour, 8-mile trip, but they have a lot of other options available as well. We had a really great group with us too! We enjoyed the class 1-3 rapids and also enjoyed swimming/floating in the calmer sections of the Yellowstone River. When you're done, they meet you at the river and bus everyone back to the office, rafts and all! We brought our cell phones in waterproof pouches, but they also have a photographer that takes photos and the package is really reasonably priced. They delivered them electronically and I got them within a half hour of our trip! This was such an amazing experience and I'm so glad we were able to do it! Thank you so much Flying Pig Adventures!

We booked the All-Day Lower Loop Summer Tour and had a fantastic experience. Our tour guide, Rue,…read morewas incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about Yellowstone. We visited on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised that the park wasn't too crowded. Because of this, we had extra time for a few additional stops along the route, which was a great bonus. All of the stops were amazing, especially Old Faithful and Artist Point. We were also lucky enough to see an incredible variety of wildlife, including a grizzly bear, black bear, bison, elk, and more. One thing to note is that most stops are about 20-50 minutes long, so there isn't a lot of time to fully explore each area or purchase food. Our group chose to include lunch through the company, and it was more than enough for lunch. I would suggest to bring some snacks if you're a snacker. I loved the water bottle design they provided and ended up bringing it home as a souvenir. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Yellowstone!

The staff in the office were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The snowmobiles were in great shape and work flawlessly! Our guide, Roy, did a super job! He gave us clear instructions on how to use the machines and the 'rules of the road.' Along the way he stopped at the interesting/beautiful locations and taught us many interesting facts. He is an outstanding guide! Very entertaining. I would definitely rent from them again. And a special thanks to Kennedy for all his help too!
