Love this place. It's like a happy place for us. Their house chips, homemade tortillas, tres leches…read morecake, and a variety of deli items are amazing. We specifically like getting hot queso, guaca, and Tinga from the deli. They can also make you taco and other items for lunch/dinner right at the deli. It's all delicious! My only two complaints are: the deli ordering area itself is awkward to order from. The second there's more than 2 people, it feels crowded and uncomfortable. It's also right next to their house chips and salsa, which are popular items. Maybe they should move them to a place that's not so crowded and busy. Overall the deli ordering area is a massive layout issue. The self-checkouts are also almost never on. It's really annoying. They are right there, but almost never usable. If they aren't going to let me use them, they should just remove them. If would actually be the perfect area to give more space when ordering at the deli. Would solve the layout issue. Overall: go here and get their house chips, tres leches cake towards the back, and some deli items/meals. But be prepared for an awkward layout at the deli, if it's even a little busy.

Even their employees seem to be afraid of them and are unable to speak freely with customers when the owners are present. I find it disappointing that, despite being Hispanic themselves, they act as though they are above others and do not treat people with respect.

We got one for Father's Day and a quick birthday one and they were the perfect size. They look better than they taste but that's ok. The cake part itself is kinda dry and too much frosting but if you like that it's perfect for you. I also love to come here for the food! It's always so delicious and easy to just come grab what you want. It's a bit more expensive than other grocery stores but sometimes it's worth it. Sushi is really good here! And the fried chicken is my favorite. Lots of other grocery items available too so you can grab what you need here. Plenty of parking. So much being built around this area so you could spend a day around here.

Examples: Milk turned sideways on the bottom of the bag. Items placed on top so the milk leaks. Wet items placed next to dry items; i.e. flour or sugar next to milk or other wet items. Bread or other light items on the bottom of the bag. Today it was taco shells. I am tired of throwing money away due to poor bagging. This location doesn't have a drive-up. The baggers rarely assist with carry out and they don't want you to take a cart. I cannot carry 4 bags by myself. I used to love Byerly's but it has really gone downhill.

Especially in the current…read moreeconomy... it seems that Trader Joe's prices haven't gone up much while other groceries jack up their prices higher and higher... I used to think of Trader Joe's as a more upper-middle class grocer, but not anymore. Everything (with the exception of meat and milk) is very affordable. That said, their shopping experience remains the same high-quality, enjoyable experience, with aisles of yummy options to browse, especially with the rotating seasonal options and new offerings. I've been here several times since moving to Eagan, and I've always encountered friendly employees. The checkout always moves quickly and efficiently. I also love grabbing some free stickers and coloring pages on my way out; it's like a little dopamine burst for my inner child! There are restrooms available to shoppers. They are gender-neutral, which is awesome for a trans guy like me. The bathroom walls are decorated with fun paintings much like the rest of the inside. They are also spacious and clean. Occasionally I have spotted a local food truck parked nearby, serving unique offerings. Once I got to snag some apple cider donuts that way, hehe. The only thing that's a negative about this place is that the parking lot (shared with the movie theatre) is smallish and has a weird layout, so navigating that can be quite challenging. Thankfully I usually walk! But even so, I have to watch out crossing because the cars aren't paying attention to pedestrians!

I never really go to Trader Joe's with a list or plan, I kind of just browse to see what they have and grab whatever- usually snacks. Sometimes I hate that I find unique snacks and end up liking/loving them, then they don't carry it anymore but that's not this particular locations fault. This store was very neat. Layout seemed backwards compared to the Bloomington location but it's not a huge store so it's easy to look down every aisle. I love that you can buy single cans of sparking water/drinks here. Staff were super friendly at the checkout.
