A hole in the wall! It reminds me of an old Taco Bell turned into a new restaurant that can serve up some GOOODDD food! We ordered 6 dishes between 5 people and it was priced well and delicious! The workers were super friendly. All you do is go up to their counter, order and pay, and you can have a seat and they can serve you or you can take to go. I'd definitely order the chili stir fry chicken, house special beef, and cold noodles with sesame sauce again!

Saw good reviews and nearby mom and pop restaurant. Chicken was definitely off (spoiled), dumplings were ok. Was concerned driving up to empty lot of what was clearly a taco bell in a past life on Monday. Mom and pop chinese spots always dicey with fresh meat in my experience.

I'm for California/San Gabriel Valley (SGV) area and if you know you know..some of the best Asian food are there, BUT Kitchen 95 can definitely compete against any in SGV! The food was amazing and run by a family! Love my family restaurant! Home made food, can't go wrong for me! Anytime I'm in St Louis is a must for me!

I have had this business in my collections for so long. I was so excited to eat there and setup a girls dinner with a bestie. We arrived and found a seat in the dining room. We quickly realized it is walk up ordering. We went to the counter and were advised, you have to order online. Okay, so we did that. No opportunity to ask questions, etc as there is no one available. We both received notifications that our food would be ready in 20 mins. We waited. And waited. We watched very little food come out (there were people walking in for to go orders). An hour passed before our food was available. We had ordered an appetizer thinking it'd come out first... it did not. This alone was not ideal... and also frustrating. The food itself was very good. We enjoyed it and enjoyed the special deals they had available that included a drink with the meal. Overall this is a one person business. By that I mean, there is one person cooking and rushing orders out. Her child does help get to go orders ready etc. but is not cooking, etc. I'd love to support more and make this business successful, but what they really need is staff to keep everything going and allow orders to come out more quickly.

We ordered a lot to go, it was a little bit of a wait but understandable because they only two people working in the kitchen. They are such nice people and the food is amazing so it's worth the wait!!!! I loved everything. The noodle and braised pork rice is so delicious. Parking is free and plenty of spaces at the location so I definitely recommend this place and everyone should check it out! It's a hidden gem!

This was a take out order and I was so happy with my decision. Food was delish! The 3 cup tofu was flavorful and the pieces of whole garlic in it just makes it even better. The Taiwanese chicken was crispy and juicy with the 5 spice powder on top was the perfect combo with the rice. I am ready to try out the other dishes they have to offer. Solid Taiwanese Food in St. Louis!

The chef at Kitchen 95 used to work at Tai Ke, our favorite Taiwanese restaurant in Saint Louis, so we were curious to try out Kitchen 95 which is a little further out of the way for us. It was totally worth it and we enjoyed some of the same menu items along with trying new entrees. The breaded pork chop was perfectly fried, and my in-laws LOVED the 3-cup chicken which comes with basil and is braised in a savory sweet sauce. Wuxi ribs were also perfectly tender and flavorful. My favorite comfort food is always lu rou fan (minced pork over rice) and Kitchen 95's version hit the spot with its saucy pork served over rice with a braised marinated egg on the side. And finally, we liked the beef noodle soup which we're always on the search for. It's less salty and a little more authentic than the beef noodle soups at Pan Asia and Tai Ke.

I saw this place pop up and decided to get a couple dishes for take out. I ordered the spicy popcorn chicken and the three cup chicken. I'd have to say the three cup chicken stuck out more in terms of flavor. The chicken was super tender and flavorful with lots of basil and garlic in a rich sauce. The popcorn chicken was crunchy and the spicy mayo perfectly complemented it. I would've liked more seasoning on it because there was only a hint of it on the popcorn chicken. Overall, great meal and I'd definitely eat here again!

Great location, good menu and nicely prepared when the Asian food urge strikes. Prices fine, too. Great spot! Don't miss it.

I dropped in on a Saturday evening and ordered the **Shroomed Up** ramen, and it was a ramen masterclass in a bowl. The broth managed to be incredibly rich and deeply savory-sweet all at once, without ever feeling heavy. It was loaded with thick, substantial slabs of mushrooms, tender-cooked bok choy, and the noodles were the star of the show--thick and perfectly cooked to that ideal sweet spot where they aren't too chewy but have zero mushiness. Even with a line stretching out the door when we arrived, the wait wasn't tedious, and we reached the counter reasonably fast. The ordering process is standard counter service, but the staff member who took our order was incredibly nice, polite, and helpful, practically predicting my questions as I was looking over the menu. The same employee even brought our bowls out to us. The space was definitely crowded for a weekend night, but the seat-yourself setup worked out perfectly for the two of us; we still had three tables to choose from. The interior has a great energy with fun, East-Asian and Japanese-themed decor lining the walls. The Breakdown Food Quality: 5+/5 + Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Vibe: 4/5 Quality/Value: 4/5 **Pro Tip:** Don't let a Saturday evening line out the door scare you off! The counter service team moves people through the queue efficiently, and if you are dining in a small group of two, the table turnover is quick enough that you'll still easily find a spot to sit down.

They are huge thick soft pieces with enough crispness on the outside. It's a good introduction to how seriously Chinese people take tofu and how in other countries they have a huge variety of tofu, vs the select few we have in the U.S. And I used to be partial to the spicy fried fish at cate zone, but chilispot has upgrade this dish a lot. It's perfectly crispy and hot!!! Even if you don't like fish, it's a great dish and also makes for great leftovers. I know the fried chicken is popular but I find the chicken pieces are too small. The lady that helped me order, was so helpful and knowledgeable about every dish on the menu. She helped me narrow down to few best options. I ordered the New, "Bulgogi Steak Mac & Cheese" and "Pad Thai." Let's start with Steak Mac & Cheese. It's so unconventional yet so watery and delicious. The perfect combination between the seared large steak pieces, very creamy and cheesy noodles, make this for a great meal. Pad Thai was also surprisingly delicious. I've visited the home country who pride themselves in amazing customer service and perfecting the Pad Thai dish. It's very difficult, in my opinion to duplicate those great ingredients and texture that Pad Thai is so famously known for. After visiting Thailand several times, for two weeks at a time, I ate mostly Pad Thai, from different vendors. I'd say, my taste buds have a some experience in delicious Pad Thai. Having said that this place nailed it. After I placed my To-Go order, I asked them if I could take pictures of the two dishes before I get them To-Go. They did a great job bringing it in a tray. Each dish presentation was top notch. I felt like I was at luxury restaurant. If you're looking for something different and authentic, you can't go wrong with this spot. Their customer service is great.
