I will definitely be ordering that again. Their prices are pretty reasonable, and the guy at the counter was very pleasant. I then waited at one of the tables in the restaurant. It seems most Chinese restaurants have converted to exclusively carry out with next to no seating available. This spot has ample seating, I'm just not sure if they "encourage" eating in. Side note, I don't think they offer table side ordering. I waited, maybe 15 minutes, and then my food was up. I thought everything aside from the spring rolls were exceptionally good. My new favorite dish is absolutely the Empress Chicken. It's not too spicy but it does have a tiny pep to its step. My favorite part about it was the sauce. I felt like this sauce was different than the others, which I usually think most Chinese chicken dishes taste very very similarly. However, this sauce is a bit different as it's not *quite* as sweet. The Lo Mein actually had flavor to it, not just greasy noodles. I also appreciated the assorted veggies they included. The fried rice here comes standard with onion. But unlike some of my other favorite spots, they do not offer egg. Huge bummer in my opinion. Their fried rice also does not come standard with peas and carrots, it is just straight up fried rice and onion. They will modify it if you request it. As I did with the crab fried rice. I would also agree with the claim on their Yelp page that they have the best Crab Rangoon. I'm typically not a Crab Rangoon eater but my boyfriend is and I stole a bite of his. I intend to steal another bite or two the next time we order here as well. Really my only major criticism of this spot is their Spring Rolls. The General Tso Chicken pieces were really big. The chicken needs to be cut into smaller pieces. The sauce had the right amount of heat but tasted like there was oil in it. The breading on the chicken needs to be crispier. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. The cashew chicken was delicious. Great flavors, maybe a bit more sauce. We really liked the crunchy carrots and celery pieces. Looking forward to trying other dishes.
