We recently remodeled our primary bathroom in our 70's era home. We couldn't be happier with the results. We dealt with Millie who worked with us to keep things "classic." She was very helpful in helping us select finishes and plumbing fixtures that felt timeless rather than trendy. It blends very well with the rest of the home. The installation team was respectful to our wishes, very clean. This was important as we did not move out during the construction. Communication was great, especially Vera. 1 Kurt is the reason they have five stars from me. 2. Because I am mainly doing countertops without cabinets it turned out kitchen and more is not the right fit for me. My review does not comment on the quality of the work or install process, however it is a review about the integrity and knowledge of one of their top designers, Kurt 3. We discussed some of the latest trends and he pointed out some potential install aspects to be aware of, even though they would not be taking on the small project. 4. He provided some resources and even gave me some ideas on a harmonious color options for the new quartz countertops 5. This man deserves hopefully a lot of good karma. He certainly spent some time and insight that he did not have to do once he realized we were not the right fit. Evidently scheduling could have explain that but I am so happy that they still sent Kirt out to the property. 6. If this is the kind of people that Kitchen and More have brought and kept on their team it says a lot about their company. The staff at the show room have also been very helpful. read more

A complete bath remodel, with so many possible combinations and price-points, became extremely confusing to design. Firms would give free estimates and make various suggestions, but ultimately leave us a wide range of possible outcomes. Millie at Kitchen & More, was able to hear our needs/wants and advise us on designing our dream into reality. Keeping budget and function within limits, She carefully offered suggestions where to get the most from materials and invest to enjoy our bath. Vera attended to all the details of construction, build ordering, scheduling -including several adjustments late in the project. Anton (an artisan craftsman) worked diligently and made quick progress each day. He is a marvel at adapting to unforeseen discoveries, with sensible solutions. We chose to do a partial remodel of our kitchen, bathrooms and fireplace; new flooring, tiling, fixtures, countertops and painting. Lovely staff and experienced designers. We did my master bathroom remodel and it came out outstanding. They created a design and gave me a fixed cost, and I did not need to pay a dollar more. They were not the cheapest, but they had the highest marginal value. We felt confident throughout the whole process since we got updated along the way. Whatever they claimed to happen became a reality. They explained every single step up front and when the time comes, we felt more confident about our decision. After much research and consideration, we chose Kitchen And More for our new master bathroom and I'm thrilled to say that our 1988 original master bathroom has been transformed into a spa-like retreat! From start to finish, Kitchen And More completed the project with care and integrity. Whenever there was a question or a need for an adjustment to be made in the work that was done, she responded in a polite, diligent, and supportive way. We were some of the first / original customers of Kitchen & More back in late 2020. Firstly, they did a superb job with great customer service. Here we are in 2023 -- 3 years later -- still very pleased with the remodel, experience, quality and price. That said, we found a plumbing issue under the sink where the drain should have been moved further down (we didn't realize this at the time). Instead, there was a work-around that resulted in the pipe disconnecting and we couldn't use the garbage disposal. We called out a plumber and it was ~$2K to resolve the issue. We decided not to pay the plumber and to call Kitchen & More to see if they'd work with us. We were absolutely pleased that they came out right away -- without a fight -- to fix the issue properly. I was anticipating a battle and there wasn't one. Even though the office staff and other workers turned over, they did not hesitate to make the issue right, even after 3 years. For this reason, we wanted to post a review that this company has integrity and is focused on doing a quality job. I highly recommend! read more

After setting up a meeting, at their Bellevue showroom, not my home, I e-mailed dimensions and photographs of our kitchen. I said we wanted re-finishing (replacing cabinet doors and drawer fronts, 54 in total) as well as quartz countertops all round. I was told they could do refinishing (which I wanted) but they'd offer complete re-start and put in a new kitchen (unnecessary in my mind, as well as the other contractors I've dealt with). Anyhooo........the following week I arrive for my appointment in Bellevue for them to say "can can't do refinishing" SAY WHAT? I said I wanted ONE THING, they say OK, then when I show up they change the parameters.....total loss, I expressed my opinion of how sh***y this "customer service" was (without cussing :-) ) and left. What a WASTE of my morning as well as unnesessary gas and tolls (520 from SEA to B'vue). C'mon K&M folks, as I said to you, at ANY POINT you could have said what YOUR intentions were for MY kitchen and not wasted my time, but you didn't.......hence this less than 5* review. When you are doing something as intimate and as important as designing and renovating your home, relationship and communication is of the upmost importance. K&M treats you like family. They completely understood what our vision for our home was and began working on a plan for us. Alice could not have been more helpful in discussing our vision with us and guiding us through the entire process from our first consultation to the end result. Kurt and Robin on their design team were vital to us in helping choose color schemes and materials that perfectly fit into the vision we had for our new home. Kurt is a funny guy and good soul.We never had to deal with certifications or building permits. Their project manager Surrey made sure the project stayed on track and took care of every single little detail concerning construction. The fact that they have a showroom made the process even easier for us, and was very helpful in influencing some of our design ideas. After discussing plans and choosing materials we were presented with an in-depth walk through of what our future home would look like. We were blown away by the professionalism and detail that went into our presentation. Construction started after 4 month and was done well within schedule. We could not have been happier with the result. K&M was able to work around structural building infrastructure to give us the open kitchen and living room we always wanted. They designed, created, and installed a custom entertainment system for us based on our needs and wants and integrated fully automated entertainment, lights, and shades into one handy unit for us. We now have a home both perfect for entertaining and socializing, as well as raising our young child. Our master bathroom is truly elegant and modern, it feels spa like. We also had K&M re-do our floors which came out amazing, surpassing even what we could have imagined. Everything from painting, to lighting, tiling, plumbing, cabinetry; was done perfectly. I don't know why they have so many good reviews, all I felt after contacting them is that they are an arrogant company and give very high estimate without even talking about the project details. I gave them a call yesterday about my kitchen remodeling project. I had a budget in mind which is based on estimates from two other companies l talked to. But Kitchen More just told me their starting price for a kitchen remodeling is almost 2x of the budget without saying why and without even seeing my kitchen at all. And maybe at this point, they felt they were not able to make a fortune out of me and wanted to push me away completely, they told me they also couldn't start anything with me at least for five months. So there was nothing I could do but walked away from them as they wanted. They are certainly not a company that listens and cares. Being treated like this as a potential customer, I can't imagine how they are gonna treat customers who are already in contract with them. read more
