It's now been 10 months since we got new carpet upstairs and LVP downstairs from Fantastic Floors, and I couldn't be happier with the results. We opted for a pet-savvy carpet. Working with Joe and Yuriy was easy and by far the smoothest part of our home remodel. The final piece of the install went in this morning, and we couldn't be happier. Yuriy is meticulous with measurements, and he even helped us by repairing a few areas that needed it. One was a poorly installed floorboard section that had been there since previous flooring work. He also replaced some damaged door sill boards under the French doors. We were hesitant at first to replace the old hardwood with laminate but the product we found in their warehouse looks so good and we happy with the choice. They have a large selection of flooring products to choose from and take the time to work with you to see what is the best fit for you. We hired fantastic floors in 2021 to replace our carpets with hardwood and laminate. While the rooms turned out ok, the stairs were installed sloppily without any attention to detail. Many treads and risers were jammed against the skirt boards causing a symphony of squeaks every time someone ascends or descends. On every step, screw holes were left unfilled and I had to fill them myself. Each plank was cut individually resulting in misaligned edges. I'm constantly reminded of the amateur install job from the unrelenting squeaks of the stairs. I've reached out to a few contractors and they reaffirmed the poor install as the root of the issue. Edit: the install was under my wife's name. We worked directly with Sandra, who was pleasant and friendly, but the install job was ultimately inadequate. We moved to the US 5 years ago and I have multiple reviews in the Seattle east side. read more

We replaced all our carpet in our condo with LVP - and love the results. The work was originally done in 2021 and continues to look great. Our condo has tricky corners and uneven subfloor to detail with, and the installer did a great job - attention to detail and took great care to make sure it looked and functioned great. Fantastic Floors was easy to work with, from getting a quote, purchasing the material, updates on lead times, and scheduling the install. After almost two years, a few of the boards had shifted, resulting in a small gap at the baseboards. I reached out to Fantastic Floors to see what they could do to fix it. They replied promptly, and the installer came out to adjust them. Great customer service. Highly recommend and would work with them again. read more

At the time the value was pretty good but the continued lack of follow up in recent years due to some warranty issues has been atrocious. After the initial installation we had a problem with one of the thresholds and called Sandra Loa who had someone out within a day to make the repair. Now, four years later, after we remodeled our bathroom, we had a similar problem with the threshold at that doorway, and again Sandra and her crew were very responsive and came out the very next day to make the repair. I waited over 3 years to review this place. It was overall a pleasant experience. We have a townhouse and before we moved in, we wanted all the old carpet tossed out. We did the main floor with laminate and upstairs new carpet. The main flooring is fantastic. It was an excellent choice and Sandra helped guide us on the best flooring. I wanted carpet, but Sandra and my wife won the argument. And I'm glad they did. No regrets there. A couple of regrets I do have is the carpet we chose. Not FF's fault at all but we went with a less expensive carpet. And it shows. It's too thin, not fluffy or soft when you walk on it. And our biggest mistake was getting the waterproof padding. It has a plastic coating on too and after you vacuum, it sounds like you're walking on plastic bags. It sounds SO cheap! THINK TWICE on waterproof padding! We never complained about it. I guess until now. We didn't really know any better. I would call them and ask them about it and see if they could fix it, but if you read many of the other reviews, communicating with them is really difficult. It would take weeks. We loved working with Sandra and Joe. They are honestly good people. But they seem to run the entire show by themselves. It's not that they don't want your business. They need more help to deal with customers in a more timely fashion. Again, laminate flooring is awesome. Wrong choice of carpet and annoying carpet padding (won't get waterproof padding next time) and then difficulty communicatig by email and phone. Including a time we had to meet at thier warehouse and ended up waiting about 45 min for someone... anyone, to meet us there to look at samples. Once we met with Sandra though, all was well. It's just getting there and keeping the communication consistent is the frustrating part. read more

Ahhh... the magic of a negative Yelp review. When you're trying to get a business to call you back to schedule a flooring install so you can GIVE THEM MONEY, and they refuse to call you back, it is miraculous that they suddenly always have time to answer back a negative review. And Sandra's reply was definitely worth a follow-up from me. In a nutshell Sandra: 1) No, Home Depot did not install our flooring. We found an amazing contractor and he took care of us, and will be doing the entire condo. 2) In the time it took you to fumble through your misspelled and grammatically incorrect sentences to reply to me, you could have picked up your phone and called me back if you really wanted to discuss the matter. I mention this because I'm a writer, so this is how it feels to be critiqued by someone in their field of expertise, and not yours. Now, add eye-rolling and exasperated sighs, and you will completely know how I felt the day we spoke. In my defense, however, people form sentences a lot more often than they discuss vinyl flooring. 3) You said to call you if I wanted to discuss the matter, which I found kinda' hilarious and maddening at the same time. Years ago both of them helped me install new flooring and this time I needed the same flooring materials because of a kitchen remodel. unfortunately this particular flooring was discontinued. Sandra said she has the same flooring installed in the showroom and she was willing give it to me! not only that, she said she'll give it to me for free in exchange for a donation because there were so many needs during the pandemic. They saved my re-model and I happily donated to a medical mask drive for local non-profit community organizations. I will always go back to Fantastic Floors because of people like Sandra and Joe. After reading all the positive reviews I chose to make a visit to the Fantastic Floors showroom to check out their products and speak with the design team. I was immediately greeted when I entered the showroom by a very nice lady who showed me different options for flooring and counter tops. I really liked their selection so I made an appointment with Melanie who came out to my house the next day. We were in a time crunch because we just purchased the home and needed to move in within a few weeks. Melanie was absolutely awesome and helped me with choosing matching flooring, tile and quartz countertops. I added additional work as we went along and Melanie was very accommodating and there was never an issue. Melanie visited the worksite regularly and kept me updated with the work. She even made some suggestions during the process and I was grateful after I moved in because she was 100% correct. The work was very detailed and everything turned out perfectly. I waited a few months before posting a review because I wanted to see how well flooring and craftsmanship held up. I originally wanted hardwoods but decided to do high end laminate wide planking. I was nervous about warping and scratching but Melanie assured me that it wouldn't be an issue. She was absolutely right because my floors have been peed on by the dogs, had numerous spills and the furniture has been scraped across the floors with zero damage. Can't say it was a good experience with Fantastic Floors. I had a good impression with them initially while asking for the quote and choosing materials in their showroom. We discussed the options I have and I was glad to hear they could start the project the next week. So I paid the deposit and confirmed if the quote contained everything. But after that they increased the price twice: 1. The first time was when I bought tiles myself, and the price was increased because of more labor for tiles and moving washer/dryer. I was surprised since the original quote even included material, and it was not made clear to me initially this could happen. 2. The second time was when they came into my home and told me there is a significant extra cost for leveling floor, which I agree is necessary. But since they knew the situation before I paid deposit, it also surprised me because it was not made clear enough to me that this part was not included in the initial quote I paid the deposit for. And I think as a customer who is not familiar with the work, it's very difficult for me to realize it by myself. Some other minor issues: 1. I had to ask them to clean the unit after they finished the work; 2. There is a small hole of the floor, which still hasn't been fixed yet; I think the installation is good. They made quick turnaround during the project when they realized some changes were needed. But overall, it was not a good experience to me. read more

After several frustrating hours of looking at limited stock and 6-10 week installation lead times, we went to Yelp looking at reviews for dedicated flooring stores. Fantastic floors had great reviews so we set up an appointment. The Fantastic Flooring team was...fantastic! They were knowledgeable, efficient and were able to quickly point to flooring that met our needs. They listened carefully to our requirements including price, and installation dates. Our old carpets were torn out and new carpets were installed four days after our visit to the store and the FF installation team were courteous and efficient and very careful to not damage our walls or millwork as they removed and installed our new flooring. About 2 years ago I replaced my floor utilizing a different company. That other company neglected to provide a piece of T molding between the bathroom and hall floor. Recently I searched for companies that carried that same brand of flooring and found that Fantastic Floors carried that same brand. I visited the store location on 124th street and asked about obtaining a bit of molding. Fantastic Floors not only provided me this bit of molding, but did so at no cost even though they were not the company I'd purchased the flooring from. How many companies would provide something at no cost to someone who was never a customer? Hence the 5 star review. read more

Love my new carpet! We had fantastic floors rip out the old and and install new carpet in the 2nd floor of our house. Worked with Dave to get quotes on different combinations of rooms: he was very patient getting me pricing for all the room combination options we were considering. The crew was great: they were mindful of my request to keep the indoor pets inside and not allowing them to get out. There was an issue: my carpet had been sent to the wrong distribution center, which they didn't find out until after tearing out my old carpet. Dave worked out the logistics to ensure the carpet got sent to the right location that night so it could be installed the next day. The result was one night with no carpet and instead of a one day job it was a 2 day job. The day of install they brought 3 guys instead of 2, to make sure they finished the install in one day. The thing I didn't love was that install on the 2nd day started in the afternoon at same time they would have started install if the carpet had been installed the same day as tear out. Would have preferred the morning, but I did not ask them to come in the morning on that 2nd day, so can't dock them for that. I would recommend Fantastic Floors. read more

I really owe my kitchen, my sanity, to Fantastic Floor. If I can give them 6 stars I would! They do take care of their customers and they go out of their way to make sure you're happy with their products. I purchased some duraceramic tiles from Fantastic Floor recently and hired my handyman to do it which turned out to be disastrous decision. He did a good job with my ceramic tiles, so I assumed he's capable to install duraceramic tiles as well. Long story short, he put way too much adhesive (manufacturer recommended). The tiles never dried, after 4 days of blowing fan full speed and scraping plus back-and-forth "diagnose" with other handyman, I finally called Fantastic Floor to reorder 2 more boxes of tiles (I initially bought 3 boxes, used only 2 boxes for our small kitchen, left with 1 extra box). In the middle of discussion about expedited shipping, Sandra the owner suddenly decided to "take a look what's going on". She must be perplexed with my frantic calls right after Memorial Day weekend. Yes it's bad indeed. My kitchen looks like coming from horror house. Then she instructed her installer to fix it. I wanted to buy more tiles but she told me I can use the extra box of tiles and reuse some of the tiles in the kitchen as long as we clean it good. She didn't proceed with reordering tile, she's more concerned about me not able to use the kitchen and perhaps in breaking point if I have to wait another day until new tiles arrive. The installer JC did a wonderful job and left the kitchen really clean. The tiles is perfect. So glad to know a store that genuinely cares about the customers and keep their integrity. We recently did a remodel of our rental including roof, paint, kitchen, floors, lighting and much more. Certain aspects of the job went smooth and flawlessly, other aspects were frustrating. Sandra at Fantastic Floors was exceptional. Her suggestions resulted in better products for our situation and she even had input on paint colors and gave us an incredible reference for the kitchen cabinets and counter tops. The whole house was done with carpet in the bedrooms and bonus room, vinyl planks in the living room, dining room and kitchen and sheet vinyl in the bathrooms. Her suggestion to do the living room, dining room and kitchen all together in the vinyl planks really opened up the space and made it look much larger not to mention much better. This past December, my wife and I moved into a new home in Kirkland. We needed a long runner carpet for our entryway. I had recently noticed the Fantastic Floors shop while driving nearby in the Totem Lake area, so we decided to stop in. The showroom was quite nice, they had an excellent selection of styles and colors to choose from (several of which would have worked well for us), and their prices were quite reasonable. However, the sales person that helped us suggested that we could get what we wanted at an even lower price by going to another shop nearby that specializes in small remnants. We subsequently went there, and got exactly what we wanted. My point: even though we didn't buy from Fantastic Floors, they demonstrated great integrity and concern for our needs as customers. They passed up a "sure sale" so that we could get an even better deal. That is very rare, and clearly demonstrates to me that these are people that I will do business with in the near future when we re-do our living room and bedroom carpets. read more

I met with Sandra from Fantastic Floors in Kirkland. We talked about my budget, various options (e.g., solid wood vs engineered, etc.), and looked at a lot of samples. I took five home. All of them looked great. It was difficult to pick the "best." I finally settled on Antiqued Birch Sandpiper by Kentwood. I was concerned about noise. The house I grew up in had hardwood floors. Kids and dogs can make a lot of noise running around on hardwood floors. Sandra and I traded a bunch of emails kicking around various ideas. Eventually we settled on VersaWalk by MP Global Products. A week later they dropped off the wood so it could acclimate to my home environment. A few days later Eli showed up and started laying down the flooring. Eli was very polite, capable and efficient. Initially he thought it would be a two day job. Because of some of the intricacies of my floor plan (e.g., a "picture frame" around the patch of slate in front of the fireplace, a small coat closet, a guest bathroom, and a pantry in the kitchen), it took two days and a few hours. After the first day, there was a minor squeaking coming from the new flooring that was put at the base of the stairs. The next morning I mentioned it to Eli. That evening no squeaking. Eli told me if I find any more squeaks, call him directly. I'll come by and take care of it. Now that's excellent customer service. The new floor is beautiful. The noise is still a bit louder than I hoped. I plan to add a couple of rugs and some curtains to help reduce the noise a bit more. Overall I'm thrilled and excited about the new floor. My home looks better than the day I bought it. When it's time to replace the carpet upstairs, I'm calling Fantastic Floors. read more

We recently had carpet replaced in part of our house by Fantastic Floors and are extremely pleased. Although our job was a relatively small one, we were always treated with the utmost of courtesy and professionalism and were given excellent suggestions by the team. Since we were not replacing the entire house, it was critical that the product we selected come as close to matching the existing carpeting as possible. I visited the showroom and was able to borrow several samples to take back with me to compare. After I had made a selection, suggestions were made where they could save me money with some high-quality alternatives (higher grade carpet left over from a previous job.) The match is almost perfect and undetectable to the naked eye. After selection, the installation was promptly scheduled and the installers showed up on time and prepared to work. They answered all the questions I had and solicited my input prior to laying the new pad and carpet. After completion of the job, they vacuumed, removed all old debris, and thoroughly cleaned the area. I am thoroughly satisfied with the high level of customer service and advice given to me at a very reasonable price and would highly recommend Fantastic Floors to anyone that needs flooring products. Also, when I took my grandson in while visiting their showroom, they had some toys that he could play with and "special treats" to keep him occupied while we talked business - a great job by a great team. After a Craptastic visit to the Issaquah Lowes to replace the carpet in my new house, I found Fantastic Floors through one of the Lowes Yelp Reviews. It took Sandra and Joe 45min to do what Lowes couldn't figure out in 3 days of visiting them. We ended up getting better carpet, better service and at a lower price than Lowes. I would definitely recommend them to anyone (and already have). The installers were very professional, not only did they do a great job with the installation but they cleaned up after themselves as well as vacuumed the new carpet when they were done! My experience with Fantastic Floors has been superb. I have an office which had a remodel in half of the space, when the carpets were installed it didn't look quite right. It wasn't the perfect match. This is where Fantastic Floors stepped in . With their recommendations and some simple changes the office looks perfect.
