This little diner in the middle of nowhere has some great food!…read more On the way to Roswell from Albuquerque we needed a place to stop for lunch after a quick hike through Valley of Fires. We pulled up and were able to get a table for the 5 of us after waiting for 10 minutes. I ordered a burger with green chile and my wife ordered the Cheese Enchiladas. The kids got items from the kids menu... The burger was delicious and the green chilies packed a little heat. My wife said her enchiladas were really good. The boys ate their corn dog and beef taco. My Mother-in-law got a BLT and she enjoyed it as it was stacked with bacon. You don't have to go out of the way for this place, but if you come across it, you should definitely stop for a meal!

This diner was near the gas station we filled up at and all the other restaurants nearby were all closed permanently. It was staffed by three generations of woman and I loved mother, grandmother, and daughter cooking together. It's small but hospitable inside and we felt immediately welcome and comfortable. Overall the food was OK but it was pricey for what we got. Sour cream also came in a squeeze bag which I haven't seen before. Beef quesadilla: ground beef, cheese, in a store bought quesadilla. Good because it wasn't overly large but tasted like something we could have made at home. Carne asada tacos: $15 so pretty pricey at $5 each. Cooked over a stove so didn't have a nice grilled taste. Topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese so more fusion/american style but after I did enjoy not having onion breath.
