The sales were very exciting. First there was a storewide 20% off sale. And then some of the individual pieces had some pretty impressive reductions. However, remember this is an outlet store. I found some of the most heavily discounted equipment had cosmetic flaws. On the other hand, I went to the Le Creuset store two decades ago and got myself a Dutch oven which had a cosmetic flaw, and that thing has been working great the whole time. But before you go to town, check to see if the warranty is in effect. It's kind of pity that my kitchen is so well stocked with equipment. Between the discounts and the excellent selection, I would been in deep trouble with this store several decades ago. While it's easy to focus on the knives and the cookware there is a lot more to the store. They carry an incredible number of small kitchen accessories that can solve common problems. The expert and friendly sales person showed me a really nice magnetic bar, which can be used to mount knives in otherwise wasted spaces in the kitchen. Unfortunately, for the sales person, I already had one of these. But I can definitely testify that this is an incredibly useful device. Some people complain that magnetic bars ruin your knives. But you have to know the trick to using them. Basically you have to kind of peel the knife off the magnetic bar and this prevents scratching and other minor damage. Also, if your knives are looking scratched, there is a whetstone with an incredibly fine grit that will put a mirror polish on your knives. Scratches are not the disaster you think they are. So stop feeling bad about all your kitchen problems and go to this store which has more solutions than you realize. Remember to bring your knives if you need them sharpened.

At first I thought it was Samy that answered the phone because the person sounded pleasant and patient; found out it was different employee named Annemarie. She must've answered about 10 questions I had, and each time she had a detailed answer and made suggestions and recommendations regarding the Miyabi line, which had great pricing against online retailers and even Costco, which had a roadshow featuring Zwilling products in Elk Grove! Annemarie was pleasant, patient and personable. She made the phone call a damn good pleasant experience. Whoever trained these two exceptional employees outta be commended by their DM! I will be making the 55 min drive for both the great product and exceptional service real soon!

I've noticed that the glaze on two of them is breaking down, exposing the raw ceramic underneath--I can provide pictures. I tried emailing Jars directly but received no response. Do you or they offer some sort of guarantee on the product? I am thinking the bowls are not safe to eat from anymore. Thanks! Cristina Hi Cristina, We are very sorry to hear about the glaze issue. We have sold thousands of Jars bowls and plates over 20 years and have not heard similar reports. There may be an unusually harsh combination of dishwasher chemicals and hard water, I cannot say. If this had happened in the first year of use we certainly would alert Jars and they might issue a replacement, but unfortunately after five years there is really nothing we can do. Best regards, Ray Terrestra.com Hello Ray, I understand that the bowls are not new but I would appreciate that you share the images with Jar--the deterioration of the glaze is occurring in all three of the bowls that I have in "Jade" but the ones I have in "Neige" show no signs of deterioration. This indicates to me that there is a difference in the glaze and it is not a problem or fluke on my end. I do use these bowls a lot but there is no indication that they are not for everyday use. It is disappointing because they are not cheap. Thank you, Cristina And then....nothing. I waited 10 days or so and sent another follow-up email. And again, nothing.

This place has almost everything you need for either commercial or home use kitchen. Price's comparable- not the greatest price but acceptable for large quantities purchase. We never have any issue at this store as we never returned any items before. Except for very last time June 2026. We bought an item in-store around $85 on June 15th. Staff was so friendly and helpful "went above beyond to help us find the size we asked for". Everything was done quickly and as expected. Then on June 29th 2026 we came back to return it because the size is not match to the one we already have at restaurant. Product's never used. "At the time we walked in the store. Staff welcomed us immediately. The right hand side cashier from the entrance, the guy took care of us. After knowing that we came just to return the product. He checked the paper receipt promptly . Without asking for anything else he just said "oh this one is purchased with cashier named "J...". He moved us to "J.." counter and asked us just wait there. Around 5 - 7 mins later, store is very quiet. At 2:55pm only us and another one customer in store with 5-6 staff went around counter, aisles. We were still standing there in front of "J..." counter. The man took care of us in the beginning, made loudspeaker announcement to look for "J..." at the back of store then he also disappeared. We still kept waiting in front of counter. 10 mins passed, no sign of "J..." 's appearance. We almost quit, one of us decided to go home and come back in another day. The cashier / customer service lady from the other side of store came and offered help. She moved us to her counter. At this moment only she said: next time when we wanted to returned anything. Just come to her counter. The other side with sell associates when we have some other issues or questions about items. She done the returned very quickly just in 3 mins. Thank you so much for her help. If not we already went back home unhappily." Sorry to leave 3 stars for store good selection, nice clean store. Some of helpful staff. Writing this review to bring this issues to your attention. We were really depressed that day. It will make more sense if store has sign like "return here". Customer like us do not have to waste much time just to wait for same sell man who sold the product in the first visit.

Personally, I do not want to have equipment that does everything for me. I enjoy filling my own pots, and cooking real burgers, using a grill etc. It reminded me of an "air fryer" kitchen. High tech German Equipment that is designed for "lazy cooks". I understand precision cooking. But typically if you are a good cook, you use your skills to achieve this. Additionally, I spent over $200 to prepare the owner food as he said he needed to try my food first. I am not running my business yet and that really hurt my wallet. Naturally, I wanted to provide them with exceptional food. They were blown away by my recipes and they were polite. However, I was not comfortable with the idea of being rushed into signing a contract and paying a $500 membership fee. $3500 a month for only 100 hours of kitchen time with multiple people. Additionally, I was not offered any form of monetary assistance or even food to prepare for them. This is one of the very few kitchens recommended by the Health Department in Sacramento and unfortunately they are not in business to help entrepreneurs get started. Eddy is in business to make a lump sum profit. Speaking of Health Department, he stated multiple times that he had connections in the health department and could guarantee getting my permits pushed through. I did not understand why he thought I needed that. He implied there was a lot of hoops to get over. I suppose that was his pitch to try to get me to sign up. The location is tucked away far from visibility in an office complex. They encourage you to use delivery apps and they do not offer commissary services for equipment. After a long and unsuccessful search in this area I found a true blue 24 hour kitchen in Livermore run by Michelle called New Tradition Artisan Kitchen. She blew me away with her customer service. She is working with me and the rates are the most reasonable I have found. The rates and accommodations make up for the trip there and back.

She was really friendly and gave me a bit of info about the slime she sells in the store. I honestly have never touched slime, the closest I've gotten is seeing it on IG but I've always wanted to touch it. I know, sounds weird but it's slime... it's made for touching! She showed me 3 different versions which were out on display for customers to experience. There was beginner, intermediate and advanced slime. She explained that the consistencies were different in each one and for younger (not slime aficionados, haha) the beginner was the best option due to its consistency. I decided I'd try all three and could definitely tell the difference. Some were more like slime sand and others ultra silky slime, very cool! Finally! I got to play with what I'd seen on IG for the last 2 years, yayeeeeeee (insert super happy emoji). She also showed me candles that were on display, all the different soaps on the specialty soap table as well as all of the other slimes that came in various colors, scents and with different things to mix into it (glitter, rubber ducks, little toys, etc.) as well as pointed out the different levels of what each slime was. I'll def be back, I just have to figure out what scent and toys I want first, it was a bit of sensory overload for a firstie. When I need a lil slime in my life, this is where I'll get it fo sho :)
