I love to cook. However I am no master chef, I am just a home cook. But a good knife sure helps. Zwilling Henckels brand is my favorite brand of knives and who does not luv a bargain. So I was stoked when I saw that they have a shop in the Vacaville Outlets. The shop is organized and clean. They carry other brands and kitchen items such pots, pans, and cutlery. They even carry an assortment of Japanese knives. One of the brands was Miyabi. Some of the knives were works of art; blades had classic Damascus texture and the handles were made of gorgeous, polished wood. I was shopping for steak knives. I debated between two particular sets. One was Henckels and the other was Zwilling. The associate was super helpful. But a couple of weeks later, I changed my mind. So I took my unopened package and went back to return those and bought the other set. Returns are allowed for unopened products within 30 days with the receipt. The transaction was easy peasy. The knives I got are forged high carbon stainless steel. The pricing was over 20% cheaper than department store and even the Zwilling website. It has been several months since I bought them. They still look great and cuts through the thick cuts of meats like soft butter. FYI - for folks wondering what is the difference between Henckels and Zwilling brands, let me tell 'ya. Both are from the same company. Henckels is the less expensive line than Zwilling. Zwilling knives are forged while Henckels are stamped. Forged knives are made from a single sheet of steel. They are heated and forged so they are more durable and holds its edge more than a stamped knife. Stamped knives are manufactured from a sheet of steel with multiple knives cut from the same sheet. It is heated but not forged.

High quality cookware and kitchen equipment if you're serious about spending money on pots, pans and knives that are designed to last a long time and makes life in the kitchen more enjoyable. The Zwilling Vitale pans are excellent and probably the best on the market. The staff is knowledgeable and will help you make the best selection for your kitchen needs.

There was no consistency in arrangements with many brands spread out over half the store. Many items matched what was currently in store, so my close guess would be that they carry seconds or minimally damaged/returned items. The few Le Creuset they did have were mainly in dirt brown and cerise, items that could be found online for the same price or lower. The service wasn't helpful or friendly and the store felt more like a Goodwill than the higher quality I was used to with Williams Sonoma. The final straw came when our items were rang up as the final sale price wasn't clear on the screen and didn't match the percentage listed on the shelf. Overall, there was nothing positive about this store so we never plan to return.

Often I'm finding items that are still on sale on their main site. My recent find was a stone mortar and pestle that was 40% off. It's such a beautiful piece - an "own it for life" quality item - and thanks to WS outlet the value was great. I do give 4/5 stars due to the "no returns" policy. There have been occasions where here I passed on a purchase because I didn't feel confident enough. First force you to be very intentional and give the item a good once over. Other "buy it for life" items I've purchased have been a roasting pan, Thanksgiving and X-mas linens, and martini glasses.

Le Creuset Outlet Store turned out to be a great stop while shopping at Vacaville Premium Outlets…read more We were looking for a birthday gift for a friend who loves cast-iron cookware, and after browsing for a bit, we ended up purchasing a traditional round skillet that matched the color of her existing cookware. The associate helping us was very patient and helpful, especially when it came to choosing the right color combination. The store itself is not huge, but it carries a surprisingly large variety of cookware and kitchen items. Since it's an outlet location, you won't necessarily find every style or color available in full retail stores, but the pricing is noticeably better. We've also been trying to slowly move away from some nonstick cookware and toward cast iron and other materials, so it was nice to see so many quality options in one place. Overall, it was a very pleasant shopping experience with helpful staff and good value.

To be honest, Le Creuset doesn't really have a lot of whole new exciting products. On the other…read morehand their classic lineup is exciting. So I headed in to take a look at all the pieces I didn't have. 25 years ago, I would've crumbled and purchased everything. Now I've grown up a lot and learned how to use straight up cast-iron. since I can make my own nonstick coating, Le Creuset suddenly looks expensive and kind of over the top. The one great thing about that enamel cast-iron, it resistant to acidic foods which means you can cook just about anything you want in the Le Creuset without switching to stainless steel or any other material. Since Le Creuset shouldn't be heated past medium, you still have to switch to stainless steel if you want high heat. Nevertheless, if you're making a stew, a Dutch oven from this company rules. So I took a close look at the Dutch ovens. They have quite the lineup. There were the adorable little ones which look cute but cook hardly any food. there were the more medium size ones, but since I already have one, I don't need the one that's one size down or one size up. Which leads to the 8 to 9 quart Dutch oven. Honestly as a single person 8 to 9 quarts is pretty impractical. Also, where would I store it. Nevertheless, I drooled. I was quite amused to see the big signs announcing the fresh new colors. They just don't have very many marketing gimmicks that they can apply to classic cookware. The one really nice thing about the store is the full lineup of cookware that this company makes. There aren't a lot of places that have anywhere near the stock that this store has. It's a great place to check out some of the harder to find items. Just make sure to ask about cosmetic defects. I purchased my pot from an outlet store 20 years ago. The staff person was very meticulous and showed me the exact cosmetic defect in the pot I purchased. She also warned me that the outlet products were not covered by the usual warranty. I purchased the pot and the cosmetic defect was indeed cosmetic. The pot cooked great. Luckily I've never needed the warranty. So make sure you ask.

A very very basic cleaning job was done... but it so incomplete that I couldn't even tell anyone had been there to clean- except that the toilet paper ends had been folded up in a hotel way / my child's bed was made. But even the dirty dishes and food my child had accumulated in her room was left in a pile on a chair in there. Window linings and exterior windows still are caked in dust, bugs, dirt ! That's the one thing I needed real help on, the one thing I specifically requested multiple times , in very clear details, to be done! And despite me specifically asking for detailed window cleaning included in the price of the clean... & being promised such. I paid this company THREE TIMES AS MUCH as much as I paid my usual cleaner. For this half-job on my new 3 bed 2 bath house in Fairfield, than what I paid for my 2 bed 1 bath place in South San Francisco. So , not much bigger place, living in a lower cost of living area, yet 3x the COST.. for worse job? I don't even know if the exorbitant flat price I paid included tip (or even decent pay) for those who cleaned my house. As a single mother of a developmentally delayed child working multiple jobs on a tight income , no time to deep clean things clean myself but busting my @$$ to keep it all together on my own... I feel grateful that someone else did something productive in this home other than me for once! But I'm also sad & irritated seeing my home is barely any cleaner than I left it for them, and, that I could've saved that money for things our family needs and done better on it myself. Which unfortunately I'll have to do next time.

This is something I request from anyone working on my property to make sure both parties are covered in case of damage or injury. I work in property insurance, so this is a standard precaution I recommend to my own clients. I actually hired them in 2020 for a cleaning and it went fine, which is why I reached out again. This time, the company told me they had never been asked for a COI by a client before, and shortly after, they cancelled my appointment, saying they felt I was "setting them up." I was surprised by this reaction, as reputable service providers typically have liability insurance and can provide proof without issue. Because they refused to provide a COI and cancelled my booking, I cannot speak to the quality of their current work. However, I would caution other homeowners that if you want to ensure a vendor is insured, this may not be the right company for you.
