The service is fine, but I think skill needs improvement. The first time I went was great, but this time, I did a package, the nails painted is not too good. I think she tried and this place has lot of good reviews, I thought it would be consistent, but not only she over done my cuticle to a point where it was so painful when she put on acetone. Dung was the lady that gave me the service. I'm glad she put on antibiotics and gave me a bandaid right after, which I was validated and she apologized, she is a very nice lady, it's sad my nails didn't turn out so great. I'm very particular and detail oriented about my nails because it's something I see almost every minute. She overpainted them and then filed the extra ones on my cuticles which caused the overdoing Pedicure was nice, not perfect, but better than my nails. Overall, she is very nice and sweet, but nail painting skill not the best, you can see how uneven and messy the cuticles are. I came here for a regular polish mani + pedi and unfortunately was really disappointed with the manicure, especially the French tips. The lines were uneven and messy, and honestly looked like something I could have done myself at home instead of paying $40+ just for the mani. Honestly I think our nanny (high schooler) does a better French for me. What's worse is that parts of the polish were already lifting and falling apart only a few hours after I left. See photo. The salon itself is cute and trendy, and I can see this being a good place if you're getting gel nails or more intricate nail art/designs. This nail bar is great. First, it is super easy to make an appointment. Second, the business is well organized. It can get packed on the weekends, but I've never felt rushed. My second time around was with Mimi. She was nice but seemed to be really impatient when I didn't like the first color. I got cat eye done but the quality wasn't as good. The cat eye reflective part seems to only stay at the top (see my pic). She kept asking if I like it but kept turning off the light. However, cateye works when there's a little bit of light so it can reflect off your nails to see that shine so I can't see anything with the light off. read more

Showed up on Saturday February 7th, 2026 to get a gel manicure and pedicure. I decided on French tip design for both hands and feet. There was plenty of parking behind the plaza, the location is 5 minutes away from Downtown Sunnyvale, Target. I showed up without an appointment and i put my information down in a terminal by the door. i was seated quickly within 5 minutes. I got my pedicure done first by Mimi, the massage chairs were sooo relaxing (It had a heated seat option, The massage chair offers vibrate/kneed/combo/and much more - ordering French tip really saved time on not having to choose through different colors. Mimi already knew the perfect shade of pink for the base and that really helped out a lot (esp bc i don't get my nails done often and i can be very unsure) Out of all the options to choose, i chose one level higher from the basic manicure and pedicure - i estimate paying $149 by the end of my visit (I also paid for Gel & French tip design) also i paid separate tip. There's a discount if you pay in cash, they have an ATM inside. i brought my vietnamese egg iced coffee with me so i had to use the restroom often. their restrooms are very clean and well stocked. included in my pedicure was a hot wax treatment that was left on for ten mins, i also had a really nice sugar scrub on my legs, and Mimi put lotion on my legs and wrapped with a hot towel, she also ended it with a relaxing massage on my legs and feet. She got the pedicure done quickly and thoroughly but the whole time she was very detail oriented and kind. After my pedicure i moved on to the gel manicure, again - i ordered one step ahead of the basic treatment (I forgot what my chosen treatments were called from the menu) They had a table ready for me and Mimi helped me move my bags and iced coffee to my new table where i was seated. Lisa helped me with my manicure. As i waited for her, a lady stopped by and swapped out the towel on the table because it had a hole on it *How kind! :)* The gel manicure from Lisa was also incredibly thorough and detail oriented, both ladies were very professional and also cared to ask if i was okay with how thick the french tip looks before curing it. Lisa ended the manicure a relaxing massage on my hands. Both ladies were very gentle with me and did not give a hard time about how my hands were positioned throughout the entire process. I did not get cut during the trimming of my cuticles and i was treated with respect during my time there, i did not feel any bad vibes at all. The overall atmosphere of this location is very friendly, clean, and professional. This location is very convenient to me because i live about 10-15 minutes away. I didn't talk much during my appointment because i had a headache so Lisa and i made small talk about Lunar New Year coming up which was a very pleasant conversation - i appreciate that there was no awkward silence, my main goal was to relax - i knew i was in good hands with experienced women who knew how to get the job done efficiently and quickly. The overall quality and experience is exceptionally excellent! I highly recommend this nail shop and enjoyed it so much i will be back in the future :) BTW my bracelet, just in case during my conversation with one of the nail techs is from Shopkolohe an online luxury jewelry shop from Hawai'i - it is currently out of stock but you can request the shop to make it custom, contact them and include a picture of the bracelet. They tried to have me use the same nail technician from my first visit. I asked for a different technician and they quickly found another technician. The nail polish redo was excellent and I posted the new photos. I appreciate the quick response and fitting me, hence adding another star from my original review. For me though, I shouldn't have had to go back in and spend another 45 minutes for a basic polish (no gel or design). I'm sure others have had good experiences. Horrific first and last experience at this nail salon. I called hours ahead of time to ask if they could do only gel removal and pricing, the lady on the phone said yes and that pricing for removal started at $10. When I arrived, all the ladies were already helping other clients, but then a man came out of nowhere and said that he would help me. He took me to an obviously unused station was used to store supplies and had to clear it out first before I could sit. Once we sat down, I told him I only wanted the gel removed and maybe nail shaping. This man did not say a word to me when he picked up a pair of nail clippers and CUT MY PINKY NAIL ALL THE WAY TO THE NAIL BED, almost cutting my skin underneath. I didn't even have a chance to say ANYTHING before he did it, and he didn't ask or tell me ANYTHING before he just did whatever HE wanted to me. I immediately asked him what he was doing and why he did that without asking me first. He replied that he "thought these weren't my real nails" so he just cut them. What??? I told him he can't just assume my nails are fake and that he can't just do whatever he wanted without asking first. I don't have the prettiest natural nails, so it's pretty obvious that my nails were real just by looking at them from underneath, WHICH HE DID. All this man had to say was "oh, sorry" in a nonchalant tone and kept trying to blame me and make excuses, such as: 1) He thought the nails were fake. THEY ARE REAL! Which he could've asked if he was unsure, why would anyone just assume without asking??? 2) My natural nails would be too weak after the gel removal if they stayed long. So... he DID know they were real? Or was he just making things up? Also, I am aware my nails will be weak afterwards, but that is my choice. If he had asked me ANYTHING, he would've known that. 3) That this nail salon doesn't offer gel removal service if the nails weren't done at this salon. I literally called hours before coming in to ask about this and when I checked in at the front desk, and not a SINGLE person said this before he clipped my nail. If that was the case, that would've been completely fine with me. I could've easily gone somewhere else or just removed it on my own instead if someone had TOLD me BEFOREHAND. I told him all this, and he just asked "oh, is it your first time here?" This man was also extremely rough during the gel removal process. He clearly did not give a single F and was just trying to speed through it, which can be seen in the photos I took when I got home, where gel is still left on my nails on both hands. He was going to charge me $15 for the removal and another $5 for nail shaping. I told him I was not comfortable with him shaping my nails and left as soon as he was done with gel removal. This man did not seem like he cared about what he was doing, and I don't even know if he was qualified to be doing nails based off of this horrible experience. I would've rather waited for someone who knew what they were doing or left entirely. When you make a mistake, you should take responsibility for what you did instead of trying to blame the client and make excuses. I had to clean up the leftover gel from his careless removal job and fix my nails myself. Luckily, I know how to do my own nails, but if this had happened to someone who didn't, imagine how else this man would've taken advantage of a client and ruined their nails. read more
