I fear there are no great nail salons in Mountain View. TLDR; the only bigger concern is she over filed on the nail. I got extensions with matte black gel. I was in and out for something like this with my go-to salon in less than an hour; I was here for closer to 2 hours. They had a guy glue the base extension for me. He was fun to talk to and friendly and did a decent job but I was with him for a while. I think Jenii came in after and was faster with the applying and shaping with builder gel and rest of the process. You can tell she has a lot of experience from her quick-handedness and the comments she makes. She noticed I didn't like having my hand in the LED lights and gave me helpful service recommendations for next time (dip powder). When she was shaping with filer/buffer at some point she was making quick work and honestly it hurt but nail salons hurting you is nothing new unfortunately. When these extensions grew out you can see a dip in my nail even before I took the extensions off. Of course it was no surprise when it was off that all my nails had this divot. This was my first time experiencing over filing this deep lol. Overall I'm indifferent about this place. I'd probably try other salons to find something better because I did wish she was a bit more gentle and consistent, but if I needed something done immediately I might come back because they were all pretty friendly and the extensions did last over the month they told me it would until they started popping off. Also, I ran into other nail salons that do this, but they offer drinks. It's a nice offer but unless you wanna be drinking nail/gel particles, I wouldn't take it.
See photos of the manicure I walked out with. The tech was extremely aggressive with filing, but the nails still came out lopsided and chipped where he filed in the middle of the nail. He ignored my requests to be gentler, kept rushing me along when I tried to give him feedback. Put base coat on only half of my nails. Finally when I was almost on the verge of walking out midway, someone came to fix his manicure, and had to cut away all the jagged, painful cuticle tips he created. Pictures are of the final, fixed nails.
If you're looking for a nail spa with great service and vibes, I highly recommend this nail spa. There is plenty of parking in the lot which I highly appreciate. The salon itself is very clean and the decorations are very pretty. I received a great and relaxing pedicure from Vanessa who was very gentle with cutting skin, as well as careful when painting & cleaning up the corners. I really liked Jenni's work on my acrylic set. She recommended a different shape than my usual and I ended up loving it due to her great work. I will be coming here again for my future mani and pedi needs.

Jenii custom created the ombré color for my nails based off of my inspo pic and I was so pleased with the result! I was the last appointment of the day so she graciously stayed late to ensure that my nails were of top quality. She was also so friendly and kind making the entire experience wonderful! I will be back for future nail needs.
Exceptional service by Jenii! I usually get builder gel on my nails and this was my first time getting an acrylic overlay manicure. Jenii was very careful removing the builder gel to prevent damage to my natural nails. She helped me pick a beautiful burgundy red color for my nails with a gorgeous cat eye design. Jenii is very professional, friendly, and welcoming to her clients. She is very knowledgable about different nail products and an expert at nail designs. I'm so happy and impressed with her work. I love my cateye nails and highly recommend Jenii Nail Art & Spa! Thank you Jenii!
Customer service is really good but a bit pricey. First time there I did a walk in for mani-pedi with both gel and French. Greeted right away and was offered color selections and complimentary drinks (which is a nice touch). Got seated for the pedicure within 10 mins. I think the pedicure was done by peter and I forgot the woman's name who did my manicure but both were very very nice. However, while I appreciate them taking their time being thorough, the process took so long; almost over 2 hours. I got there around 5:20, got started around 5:45, and didn't leave until 8. The woman gave me a quote on the manicure when I showed her what I wanted ($65) which I appreciated. However, I did the classic pedicure which was $45 but total ended up being $80 and $65 for manicure. During the pedicure he offered to do a 5 min massage instead of 3 min which was nice but he did not give me a heads up on what additional charges that could have equaled up to $80. I guess it was partially my fault for not speaking up and not asking at the end or during the pedicure but I was so exhausted from work and didn't think much of it. I did have old white gel on my toes prior so he did have to remove that so I assumed it was because of the removal, French, and gel? Again I should've asked but he also did not show me one finished toe to see if I liked it before finishing up the rest of my toes cause towards the end, the French lines weren't that straight, slightly smudged and very thin. I also had to ask him to fix and clean it which I usually don't do. When I asked him to clean and fix the big toe, he didn't seem to notice what I was requesting and seemed confused on what I wanted to get fixed. It was also closing time so I didn't want to keep anyone behind nor did I wanted to wait longer to change the design. I liked my manicure but don't think the pedicure was worth $80. Overall, nice staff and clean salon.

They really go above and beyond to the perfect your nails. I had gel x nails prior and they carefully removed them and even put on stuff to make sure my nails aren't brittle. Highly recommend this spot! Will definitely be coming back

I found Jenii's in mid-April -- Booking via text was incredibly easy, and the entire team is so professional and friendly. As a bonus, they have a surprising big complimentary drink selection which is such a kind and delicious gesture! Coming in, I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted. Jenni was amazing at helping me figure out what I wanted based on my lifestyle, budget, and the event I needed it for. She was incredibly meticulous and careful with my gel mani, including with the edges. No part of my nail was left unpainted, no part of my skin was accidentally painted, and the texture and shine were perfect. For my gel pedi, Peter was super thorough and kind! My nails held up perfectly for five weeks with absolutely zero chips or dents! Had I not been worried about just the look of the nail growth, I probably could have left them for another few weeks, even! I went back today for a new gel manicure, and Jenni's removal process was completely painless and gentle. Unlike some other salons, it was clear that Jenni placed a lot of thought and care into protecting my natural nail bed when removing the gel. Even though the salon was busy, she was present with me and I felt she was not rushing. Sitting there, I overheard her with other clients and was impressed by how much she remembers about everyone's lives, time commitments, and preferences. She is genuine and intentional with her relationships, taking all of this information into account to give her clients the best experience. All in all, this salon has a lot of heart (and quality)! I was looking for a good nail salon and came across this one online -- the reviews were great, and the photos looked really nice, so I decided to give it a try. I called the same day and Jenny answered -- she was so kind and welcoming, and was able to take me in that very day! The salon itself is spacious, clean, and easy to find with convenient parking. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and seated right away. Jenii took the time to chat with me, asking what brought me in and what I was looking for. I explained the style I wanted, and she really listened. I got acrylic nails with an almond shape, and she absolutely nailed it -- pun intended! She took her time, made sure everything was perfect, and explained what she was doing throughout the process. Jenny is talented, patient, and genuinely cares about her clients. Her coworker was also lovely and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I left with beautiful nails and a big smile. Highly recommend this salon and especially Jenii! read more

First time at this location and will definitely come back! I came in for a fill from a previous location and loved the work that was done here! Jenii was very profesional, hospitable and proud of her craft. Loved the work that was done and got more than expected! I had never tried chrome as an add on but Jenii recommended it with the color I chose and absolutely loved the results!
