Went there and ordered jrs original slider (comes with two sliders), a chicken wrap (chicken breast, mozzarella and roasted peppers) and onion petals. The onion petal with their southwestern sauce is pure nirvana. The sliders were good but they missed the mark with the wrap... It leaked beyond belief and the paper "boat" it came on was filled half way with liquid from the roasted peppers from a JAR! It turned my wrap into mush. What were they thinking? They do make everything fresh so I'll give them that. I just wished they drained the peppers better. Better still, roast them fresh! I agree, they're pricey compared to what they give you. I was a bit surprised and disappointed the roasted peppers were from a jar. They've been opened since November 2012 from what I heard. Bring a jacket or coat when sitting and eating there. It's cold in there. Especially if the door keep opening and closing. They did provide a small heater by us. I turned it on full blast and it still didn't warm us up much. Would I go back... We usually order delivery here and the food is definitely good, but when you add it up, it's a bit pricey for what it is. There's a $2.50 delivery charge then you tip the guy $5 that's $7.50 on top of your bill. That's like tipping 20% on a $40 check (and ordering $20 worth of food) and I'm only ordering for 2 people. Despite that, the food is good and I usually get the crispy chicken jr. which is 2 sliders with 2 large chicken fingers & american cheese per slider. 2 of these is a solid meal for sure but everything is a la carte and who doesn't like fries with their sliders. I like the cheese fries as well but last time they charged me for a full sized order when I only asked for a half. They are also open late, for when the bars close. I've eaten at Jr's 3x now and find the food to be a great option after I've had some cocktails or feel like treating myself to a less healthy meal. For a small establishment they offer quite a big menu consisting of beef, chicken and turkey sliders, wraps and numerous sides. Last night I went for some late night eats and got the southwest sliders and a half order of cheese fries. The portion sizes on the sides are bigger than you would expect. A full order is plenty for 2 hungry people...and that is coming from a person who can really pack it in. Jr's sliders look small but they are pretty filling especially if you get sliders that have toppings. Depending on what time you go expect to wait for a seat since seating is limited. I love that they open late because I always get out late when I come here. The first time looking at the online menu, it took me a while to learn that the burgers come as sliders. I think a fellow review enlightened me on that fact. The price is a tad bit high for burgers but they are tasty and come with different topping options. Sometimes I skip the toppings because it's a battle trying to make them fit on the burger without things being sloppy. I have tried the burgers and grilled chicken option. I'm basing this review on one take out order. Came for lunch take out when it first opened, but they weren't fully ready to go. I didn't get in until 11:05 am. Jr's is a counter service restaurant serving burgers, wraps, salads, fries, onion rings, nachos, and desserts like fried oreos and brownie bites. There's something for everyone here. The menu is quite diverse. There's vegetarian options as well as items for those pescatarians we all know and love. Ordered the Maui Beef Jr on white bun, which is an order of 2 sliders with mozzarella, pineapple, bacon, and open pit barbecue sauce. These sliders were the bomb! I liked the taste of everything. The burgers themselves were grilled perfectly, juicy, and had good flavor. The buns and pineapples were also grilled! The bacon was the way I liked it, which is a little over halfway cooked where there is still some bounce on the bacon fat. This place is not cheap for burgers. My 2 sliders were about $9 without any fries or beverage. There's 3 tables for seating and additional barstool seating along the wall and window. There is one flat-screen TV for your dining pleasure. Another good thing about Jr's is that they open late and they deliver. The employees were friendly. Street parking on this block is metered and you only get 10 min per quarter during the day. Is anything better late at night than a juicy Jr's burger and tater tots? I don't think so! This Red Bank staple is open late, has lots of burger choices, including vegetarian, plus pretzel buns (so good and highly recommended!). The basic Jr. burger is a solid beef burger option. The turkey burgers and the chicken breast ones are also good. You can't really go wrong. The tater tots are always crispy and hot and even though these seem like something you could make at home in your toaster, I doubt they'd ever be as good as Jr's. Get the cheese sauce with them. It's cheesy and gooey and perfect for dipping. This is a great spot for a quick lunch, dinner or late night meal, and it's good value for your money and served quickly. read more

This is a great burger joint. Their burgers are slider sized, so you get two with each order. Like White Castle burgers, but with better quality ingredients. I got the pretzel buns because I love pretzel buns. But they actually wound up being a little too dense for the burgers, and I wound up trashing half the bun and doing it open-face. I also got the tots, and was pleasantly surprised at the portion size. I had to take half of them home, there were so many! They are open (and deliver) way late, so they definitely cater to the drunk/stoned crowd who can no longer driver or are stumbling around the town, looking for some munchies or something to soak up the alcohol in their stomach. They offer a meal combo (Jr. or wrap, side or dessert, and free drink), which was pretty good. The jalapeño poppers were with American cheese (I think?) rather than cream cheese or mozzarella cheese. While taking my time to read the extensive menu display the guy taking orders is getting impatient, tapping, staring at me. I told him I was not ready twice. I am the only customer. Menu say Nachos. Great food but last night it was 22 degrees. A friend and i wandered over (it was 2:30 am and the door says 4 am) we purchased 38 dollars in food from the walk up and I tipped 4 dollars to carry out. When the food came I politely asked if we could unstack two of the chairs and eat at the counter. (We were the only customers and it was freezing outside.) the young guy behind the counter says in a snarky voice. "Well we are closed". I'm sorry. Didn't I just purchase food from you? Aren't you actively answering the phone taking delivery orders? We couldn't eat in the warmth for 10 minutes? Instead my friend and I sat in the frigid car and ate. They're sliders. Note the location in Yelp is off. It's on the west side of Broad on Front St. I mean, yes they're the only place nearby that is open at ungodly hours. So unless everyone is going here for drunk food, I'm just not impressed. I dont understand these other reviews. Honestly, even when not sober, I've eaten here and STILL haven't been satisfied. The Dublin House has a severely better (and bigger) burger WITH fries cooked to order with proper temps for $5.00 whenever NFL football is on. That is a $6 discount to this place with a superior product. And the DH burger will be ready in 5 mins. This place will have no traffic, take 15 mins to prep. Then they'll chat amongst each other for four minutes after the food is ready and getting cold. With only one customer. I've been here several times, thinking it was a one-off. But no. This place may be hard to spot amongst a strip of shops in Red Bank, but it's definitely worth a trip. Don't let it's hole in the wall exterior (or even interior for that matter) fool you, the sliders make it worth stopping by. The place is very small, but it's not a turn off for me. It isn't cozy, but more like laid back sports bar meets cafe space invasion meets downtown sandwich shop. It's got a large mounted TV with sports running through recaps, sadly without subtitles. There were only a couple of us inside and it was hard to hear but we saw the scores at least. The seating is all close together and there's not much of it. A group of 4 would be fine but any more will need to split tables. You order at the counter, options are listed on the side wall, and seat yourself while they prepare and bring out your food. Casual, but it works very well with what they serve and the clientele it would appeal to. Quick yet relaxed! The employees were very friendly, but seemed a bit new. Whenever I tried to repeat my order they asked me to slow down so they could find the items on the computer. It's not really a put down, everyone's going to be the new guy at some point. I ordered their Philly Jr and fries. The cheese wiz on the sliders were kind of my only complaint. It was very running but it tasted fine, maybe something else could fit better though. The peppers and onions added great flavor and really completed the "cheesesteak". I was really surprised with how great the fries were. I cannot imagine why anyone has a bad word to say about Jr's, which is easily the best delivery joint in town. My favorite is the Three Pepper Bacon, two ground sirloin sliders with pepperjack cheese, grilled jalapenos, sauteed onions, crispy bacon, and chipotle mayo. They're REALLY SPICY, but that's how I like it. My boyfriend, who's not as big a fan of the heat, likes both the Maui Jr (topped with grilled pineapple, melted mozzarella, smoked bacon, & BBQ sauce) & the Spicy Crispy Jr (two breaded chicken tenderloin sandwiches with melted swiss cheese, lettuce, & fire sauce - spicy but not as spicy as mine!) He's a fry guy, & I'm obsessed with their onion petals. A WHOLE BOX OF THEM? Oh my God, my arteries. I can feel them closing, & I don't even CARE. That's how delicious these meals are. I haven't tried any of their wraps or healthier stuff, but, um, I'm glad those options exist. The only downside is that delivery always takes awhile - usually a full hour - but I like that you can order & pay online, which almost ensures a not-messed-up order, & their usual delivery guy is really nice. As long as you're prepared for the hour-long wait, Jr's is THE BEST CHOICE for a delicious, indulgent, not-greasy delivery meal. Man, I'm hungry. read more

I would have rated 4 stars as their burgers are really good. But the prices are ridiculous. The burger's are great, you get two. The fries are good too. But, I don't get the cheese fries because.... the cheese is cheese wiz. To me, I can't eat cheese wiz. And it really puts me off to getting anything that has cheese on it from them, because... it's NOT cheese. A lot of great burger combinations and other things to chose from. But the prices? EVERYTHING IS A LA CARTE. They offer no kind of burger and fry combination. The burger's aren't particularly big (which is probably why you get two) and although they are good, I feel like I'm paying for restaurant quality food, in a fast food type place. Who are you kidding? If you want a burger with fries, without anything else, prepare to pay between $10-$15. And any extra things you may want (like cheese on the fries, extra something on the burger) expect to pay out for it. The food is good, I don't know why they feel they must nickle and dime you. I usually get this delivered, having never been in the place. Would order from the more often if the prices came down. I think in the entire time it's been open, I've ordered twice. I wish there was a way to give negative stars, as they do not even deserve 1! After a late night out, we decided to give this place a try since it was open late. We called our order in for pick up and was told about 20 minutes until it was ready. We arrived at the specified time and not only was the order not ready, but they did not even have a record of it!!!! At that point, we placed the order again, and was told 20 minutes. It was roughly 45 minutes before we got our food! It was roughly 75$ for burgers fries and chicken fingers. I signed the receipt, left in frustration and returned home...... Heres the best part. We open the two bags of food and all there was inside was two packages of fries in each! No burgers, no chicken fingers nothing. I call back and let them know, and they tell me it will be over an hour before they can give me the rest of the order I have already paid for! So I tell them forget it, I am not waiting another hour to get the order I already paid for, and that I want a refund. They Refuse. I dispute the charge, they challenge it. Luckily I have some very influential business owners and friends in the area, so word will get out, and people will know them for who they are. $73 for fries and a headache. PASS read more

We stopped by Jr's last weekend in Red Bank. It's a new place I was told by the friendly staff that is part of the Red Bank foodie scene. We ordered a Jr's ahiTuna Wrap, a salmon wrap and a Grilled Shrimp Salad. I am very particular with my tuna and asked the staff to make mine Pittsburgh style, which is seared for a minute on each side. The tuna was cooked to perfection and fresh which my first bite reminded me of warmer times catching my own. The flavor was enhanced by the wasabi mayo and chipolte fire sauce that it came with. My wife's salmon burger was also very flavorful & fresh, not dry or over grilled and we also shared a Grilled Shrimp salad. The salad was also fresh and quite large. Their prices are reasonable and this place appeals to a comfort food crowd and to the very health conscious! For desert we had the most sinful a must order "Desert Sampler" which we are still enjoying 5 days after our weekend visit. It consisted of 2 Fried Oreo's, 2 Jr Brownie Bites, 2 Cheesecake Bites & 2 Banana Foster Bites served with caramel, chocolate, and fresh strawberry dipping sauces. Very rich for us to eat all at once. I was told they have another location also in Long Branch and that they deliver and that I am only a few miles away from Red Bank so take out is even better on these brutal cold days. Way to go Jr's! I bit into the fried chicken. It was all fried, no chicken. 5/5. Edit 7/5/15 Juniors continues to impress. The Philly cheesesteak junior, the mozzarella sticks, the basic chicken wrap, and smoked chicken wrap are all incredible drunk food. I really wanted to dislike this place, but just couldn't. I arrived in Red Bank at 1am and was starving, this makes sense since I am from Colorado and tend to get late night munchies now. I asked the hotel who was still open and would deliver. JRs was the answer. Since it wasn't Chinese or pizza I was intrigued. I ordered the food and 1/2 hour later it came exactly as I ordered it. I got the buffalo chicken wrap, which tasted exactly like you would expect buffalo chicken wrapped in a tortilla would taste. I was a little bit disappointed in its lack of spice, but that may have been my part for not knowing to order spicey. Oh well. I also got the hamburger/bacon fries. Wow! They were really good. They had lots of cheese and bacon. Honestly I overate because there were a ton of fries and I couldn't stop eating them. From other reviews it looks like you should only have JRs food delivered... I have never had better burgers than I have here. Remember back to math class--there was a kind of curve that would always approach a line but never touch it. Each inch closer to the line would take more effort than the inch before it, until finally one had come as close to the line as possible. That line is perfection, the no-tricks perfect burger. I've been here a few times. I always get the veggie sliders. The fries are of the shoestring variety and are ok. Not greasy at all which I appreciate. The tots are #1 though. I have been supporting this restaurant since they first opened back in 2006. Since then they have doubled their prices and upcharge everything from sodas to sides of sauce for .75 each! And for that they barely fill the little cups. And if you ask to buy a large bottle they say we are not selling the large bottles but you can buy as many .75 cups as you want. This use to be a great spot to come grab food but for a few burgers and wraps your at $80 and with spending that much youd think they would throw in some extra sauces for spending so much but no. Not to mention I dont even live in NJ anymore so anytime I fly up here I make a point to visit Juniors and grab a couple bottles of their fire sauce. Needless to say this is my last time stopping by any of their establishments. Food is good but to double their prices over the last 15 years and be charging so much for petty items like sides of sauce is unreasonable. They do have Barq's Red Cream soda on tap, which is delicious and a nice compliment to a burger and not seen too often on menus in my experience.
