Sent the factory rep to our home as well as a representative from the store. A small discount was offered in exchange for absolving them of any accountability. I was too exhausted to fight and took the money but I am reminded of it every time I walk in to my kitchen.

When you place an order with them, you only get drawings with the cabinet model numbers, no other information about what the actual cabinets are OR any filler strips, moldings, special materials, etc... This will be important later in the review. Now for all of the mishaps: 1. incorrect cabinet ordered/sent - had to be reordered and sent 2. Filler strips for upper cabinets never shipped - We had to use some molding meant for some other areas to use while they order us new fillers 3. Still waiting on the replacement moldings from above at the time of this review 4. Filler strips for in between beverage fridges ordered/shipped incorrectly - had to re-order and reship 5. Cabinet doors arrived un-milled and missing hinges - had to be picked back up and milled and have hinges placed on them and re-shipped back. What this all means is delay, delay, delay. My wife calls first to talk to sales lady who always is on vacation on Mondays and returns messages sometimes afterwards. Her response was that my contractor is at fault since he didn't open the boxes and verify everything was shipped properly. WE were supposed to verify the pieces against the incomplete drawing that we were given at the beginning of this review!!! She was high. Now the wife calls and talks to Mark S. Basically he says sometimes its the manufacturer, sometimes its Seigles. I don't really care since i bought the cabinets from Seigles not the manufacturer. If he has an issue with the manufacturer, he needs to address that with them. Since all we lost was time, they weren't sympathetic or really cared what happened. They have all of our money and we are still waiting for some of the correct pieces. People, these are semi-custom cabinets, not the type you get at big box stores to begin with. You are going to spend a lot of money for them. Do yourself a favor and look around for custom cabinet suppliers. They are all over the chicagoland area. It is even worth a little driving to get the value for your money.

I tried working with other cabinet suppliers including Home Depot, but the service was terrible. Ofer at Planet Cabinets was incredible from the first email to set up an appointment! We talked to confirm measurements, etc. and he always followed up quickly. He was present when the cabinets were delivered and quickly replaced a damaged cabinet. Thanks to him I have my new beautiful, functional kitchen!!!

Ofer was patient, knowledgeable, and never pushy -- he took the time to walk us through our options and helped us feel confident in our decisions. We went with Orange Cabinetry, a more budget-friendly brand that Ofer endorsed in terms of quality and customer service. Even though there was a delay in stock (which we were informed about in advance), the team encouraged us to stick with the sage green color we really loved instead of settling for something else just to speed things up. I'm so glad we waited -- the cabinets are beautiful, well-built, and exactly what we wanted. We've gotten a ton of compliments. Planet Cabinets also helped us source Jeffrey Alexander hardware, and their support with sizing and quantities made that process easy. Overall, we felt informed, supported, and never rushed. Highly recommend Planet Cabinets if you're looking for a company that balances affordability with honest, thoughtful service.

We have nothing but the highest praise to give to them for delivering such a fantastic end result. The team we worked with was fantastic. We really enjoyed the hands on process of working with Elizabeth, our designer, who helped guide us through the entire process of creating our dream primary bathroom. We had a fair bit of back and forth throughout the design process but it resulted in some highly detailed and thorough design plans, which included realistic renderings, all the selected hardware and finishes, and overall layouts. We felt like we got great advice from Elizabeth, and she really listened to what kind of look and feel we were going for. We then got with Daniel, our project manager, who helped turn the plans we received into reality. He was also a pleasure to work with and always provided very clear project updates via text and phone. The teams he assembled for electrical, plumbing, and carpentry were all very professional and did great work. Daniel was also a great problem solver who was able to come up with clever solutions to any issues that came up. In summary, we are very happy owners of two completely new bathrooms spaces designed and built by the lovely team at Chi Renovation. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a remodel in the Chicago area.

We recently had our bathrooms remodeled, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The scope of our project included a full renovation of primary, kids and guest bathrooms, and the quality of craftsmanship really shows in every space. From the tile work to the fixtures and overall layout, everything feels high-quality and thoughtfully done. We especially appreciated the unique elements incorporated into the design, like the wall-mounted faucets, recessed vanities, heated floors, and heated bidets--features that truly elevated both the look and comfort of our bathrooms. The team was excellent to work with from start to finish. Elizabeth, our designer, and Eric, our project manager, were both fantastic and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. Elizabeth helped bring our vision to life with thoughtful design choices and a great eye for the overall look and feel, while Eric kept everything running smoothly and on schedule. Our contractor, also named Eric, did very high-quality work, and it really shows in the finished product. Everyone we interacted with was professional, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. Communication was consistent, and we always felt informed about what was happening next. The team's level of care and precision really stood out--they made sure everything was done right. The entire process, from design to construction to the final finishing touches, was smooth and well-managed. They helped guide us through design decisions without pressure, kept the project moving on schedule, and made sure the final result matched (and even exceeded) our expectations. The end result is a set of bathrooms that not only look amazing but feel built to last. We're extremely happy with the quality of work and the overall experience, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a remodel.

We notified them on 6/12/24, on 6/24 George himself came out to look at the pan and measure the closet to see if a new appropriate drain pan would fit because not all comply with current codes. He ordered the new drain pan, scheduled to have it installed but also commented on the review I left, he asked if he could come by. We said he could come verify our statements when the pan was installed but his team Brian and David were well aware of a number of issues prior to our final payment. Today, August 2nd the new drain pan was installed as George did acknowledge that is the proper installation for the set-up we have. He also reviewed a number of items, offered to fix what he could. While it was a nice offer/gesture, our experience with the team (Brian & David and all the sub contractors) made it impossible for us to accept. George indicated he was not aware and that a number of these items could have easily been punch list items to be taken care, but that option was never given to us. George did in fact reimburse us for a different issue. I'm grateful George stepped in and that he was willing to at least look into it. I'm more grateful he acknowledged and did correct the drain pan and I appreciate his offer to correct what he could. The crew that was here did an excellent job (from what we can tell as of today). It's unfortunate it had to be escalated but I can confidently say, when it was, George did everything he could to get taken care of appropriately. He communicated frequently and everything went very smooth.

I requested several quotes for the first job I needed to have done, and Jeff was the first one to call me back and who quoted me the job right away. To my surprise, Jeff was able to take care of EVERYTHING. "Impeccable quality work with a smile" is how I would describe him. JOB WELL DONE! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

He included actual photos of his prior work, responded to my calls/texts immediately, and arrived on time or early as promised. A prior contractor absolutely butchered the tile in my shower surround. He was great at general carpentry but I almost ended up in divorce court over the shower. Jeff came in and appraised the job, quoted a fair price, and set starting and ending dates. When he got here he immediately got to work demolishing the old work. He gave us a briefing every day before work and at the end of each day. He is fast, accurate, and above all CLEAN. He made sure that we were not walking on bits of old tile, drywall, or miscellaneous garbage. We had a certain accent tile selected from the original job but Jeff gave us a humble opinion about changing the tile. This actually worked so much better, fitting in with the room a lot more. The job took just under a week and we are very happy with the results. I would totally recommend him to anyone. He also told us that he does general carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. When I win the lottery I will hire him to re-do our badly outdated kitchen.
