Reservations can be made by phone! The reservation button on the website doesn't seem to work. Anyway, food is delishhhhhh! Stopped in on a Saturday with some friends. The salsas here are very tasty, authentic, along with the beans, yum! Service was quick and welcoming, never missed a refill! They let us hangout for a bit after we finished eating. It was a nice time!

Lovely brunch spot. Mexican breakfast options as well as American breakfast options. Cute interior and adorable outdoor patio, nice staff and generous portions.

During our visit to Chicago, we were exploring the area in search of a quiet spot for breakfast. The vibe of the restaurant immediately drew us in, reminding me of my younger years with jukeboxes, records, and Pac-Man video games. We decided to try the Chicken Pesto Panini, which was absolutely delicious--easily one of the best paninis we've ever had. We also ordered one of my all-time favorite breakfast dishes: Avocado Toast with over-easy eggs. However, as you can see from the photo, I received scrambled eggs instead. The dish was still tasty, but I was a bit disappointed by the mix-up. I chose not to request a correction, though. Both meals were generously portioned, and we'd definitely consider coming back if we're in the area again.

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow... Along With My Patience Imagine ordering a fruit salad and being served a side of someone's loose hair. Now imagine the manager reacting like this was just... normal? No apology, no urgency--just "Huh. Anyway." When I posted about it on Nextdoor (because, shockingly, most adults prefer hair-free food), the real entertainment began: locals insisting I should've "just picked it out" like some sort of culinary Marie Kondo. Newsflash: Basic hygiene shouldn't "spark joy"--it should be a given. If strangers defending a hair salad is this restaurant's target demographic, I'll gladly take my appetite elsewhere.

Stunning back patio, great brunch options. Breakfast tacos were 10/10, they kept the coffee flowing and the mint and lemon infused water for the table was a nice touch

Years ago, I met a friend at Kitsch'n on Roscoe, and I liked it. Since I was in the area, I popped in for a quick breakfast before running morning errands. The coconut French toast was a hit. I liked that I could get my eggs scrambled with cream cheese. And the rosemary in the home fries added a very nice flavor. Service was as good as I recall from years ago. I think they may pack out by late morning through the afternoon. As the temperatures warm up, it is no doubt a guarantee that it will be a busy spot. They are worth it.

It's been 6 years since my last visit, and the price of the green eggs and ham has only gone up 1 dollar, thankfully. Nowadays, this is directly in line with the prices everywhere. Still delicious, still amazing service. Popped in on a Friday morning about 5 minutes after opening and was greeted and sat down right away. TVs going near the bar, very nice experience. Cozy and casual. Love this place still! Had the green eggs and ham again - they were delicious!

This was a cute little old-fashioned diner feel with good food that was served a little on the cold side. The staff was kind but busy. Coffee was refilled often and they let us chat and catch up without feeling rushed.

I really enjoyed my breakfast at Kitsch'n on Roscoe. We arrived on a Saturday morning and there wasn't a wait, which would be unheard of in other parts of the city! Another reason to love Roscoe. The service was pretty prompt and attentive. I had an iced coffee (pricey--I think it was $4?) and the pesto omelet. The pesto does not contain nuts. It was very tasty and my first experience with the pesto eggs trend! The hash browns were more crispy that I usually think of hash browns but they were really good. We also had the berry pancakes, which were pancakes with berries on top (not in the pancake which I prefer). The pancakes themselves had a really good vanilla flavor, not just the normal pancake taste. Parking was really easy on a side street a block west of the restaurant.

I think this place is super adorable. The artwork on the walls really brought the whole ambiance together. The service was quick and my server was really nice. I got the avocado toast with the rosemary hash browns. I'd rate the food a solid 4/5-- the eggs were perfect, it was a great amount of food for the price, and the textures were great! The only reason why it's not 5 stars is that I would've liked more rosemary flavor in the potatoes and no red onions (I'm more of a yellow onion gal); I felt like the whole sprigs of rosemary took away from it, and I would've enjoyed it more if the leaves were chopped up. Also for the avocado toast, I'll admit, I'm picky about them, but I would've loved to have more acid (I'm a sucker for pickled onions/radishes on my avocado toast). Of course, all the food opinions are just because I'm a picky eater, but this place is a must-go! The neighborhood is lovely, the music adds to the overall ambiance and this place has such a unique charm that I think is so magical.

Kitsch'n is one of my most favorite brunch places. It's not even near where I live but I'll drive out of my way to go. Kindest staff, bottomless coffee (and they're always offering and on top of refills) and the food is ‍ *chefs kiss* haha. Their rosemary hash browns are fresh, crunchy, hot and seem to be made fresh vs a frozen clump you might get from somewhere else. My favorites are the Two Deuces and a Jack and the Mac and Cheese. True diner vibes done right! They also have a patio in the back and front! Front patio is dog friendly!

Nobody's performing, everybody's happy to be there, and the staff treated us like they were glad we showed up. Start with the sweet tea. It's the real thing. The Nashville hot chicken and waffles is the move. The heat has actual flavor behind it instead of just burn, and it builds in a way that keeps you going back for another bite. Then I tried the shrimp and grits and had a small crisis about which one I liked better. Still haven't settled it. The grits were creamy, the shrimp had real seasoning, and I cleaned the plate. Fair warning: none of this food is for anyone on a diet. That's the point. Come hungry, wear the forgiving pants, and let somebody else count things for the day.

It was so much spray that I genuinely felt like it may have gotten on my food. On top of that, he repeatedly dropped things around our table and seemed to have a difficult time maneuvering through the dining area. It honestly made me wonder if the table placement itself was part of the problem The food service was also disappointing. My meal came out first, and I had to wait quite a while for my sister's chicken biscuit. When it finally arrived, the chicken was not cooked all the way through. My pancake and bacon were both good. I just wish the overall experience had matched the quality of those items. Between being repeatedly bumped into, being hit in the head, cleaning chemicals being sprayed next to our food, and undercooked chicken, it made the experience difficult to enjoy.

I also want to praise my delivery driver for arriving at a reasonable time with my order and meeting me right in front of my residence. Grateful to have had a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again is very high. As for my order, my first response after my first bite of the vegan sloppy joe was, "Mmm, that is good!" If you are a foodie like me, then you know what the next few minutes--or, better yet, seconds--consisted of. Yes, I pretty much devoured that vegan sloppy joe, leaving nothing behind but what was left on my fingertips. The last time I had a vegan sloppy Joe was a few years ago in celebration of my birthday, and trust me, it wasn't as good as this one at Soul & Smoke. It could easily be confused with real meat if you aren't aware that it is vegan. I saved the side order for last, which was that delicious-looking mac and cheese. Mmm... "Oh my God!" was my initial response after my first forkful, which was lightly seasoned with a delightful taste. I must say it was the perfect side for the vegan sloppy joe. After my last bites, I had the slightest grin on my face, and the only thing on my mind was that I will definitely have it again in the future. The sprecher soda - cherry cola was the perfect complement to my meal. Introduced to me by Soul & Smoke, I am so pleased with this award-winning craft soda from Milwaukee's oldest craft brewery that I will be on the lookout for it in the future.
