We are deeply disappointed and heartbroken by our experience with Kittensup4sale in Pembroke Pines. In September 2025, we purchased a 4-month-old Bengal kitten from them for approximately $2,700. Before purchasing, we specifically made it clear that our top priority was getting a healthy kitten, especially because we had previously bought another cat from them that was diagnosed with a heart murmur at a very young age. Because of that prior experience, we stressed how important health was to us and trusted them to provide a healthy Bengal. Sadly, that trust was completely broken. Within about a month of bringing our kitten home, we began noticing concerning health issues. Over time, his breathing became abnormal and progressively worse, and he ultimately suffered what the veterinarian documented as respiratory failure. He passed away in January 2026, only a few months after we brought him home. No kitten should be experiencing severe respiratory failure and dying at such a young age. This raises extremely serious concerns about the health of the Bengals being sold by this breeder. After already having a previous cat from them with a heart murmur, and then losing this kitten so young to major respiratory issues, it is very hard not to question whether their Bengals are being bred and sold with underlying health problems. This was not a random or minor issue. These are serious medical concerns in very young cats, and in our experience, it strongly suggests a pattern of unhealthy kittens. We contacted the breeder as soon as the problems began and spent 6-8 weeks trying to resolve this directly and respectfully. Unfortunately, they did not take meaningful responsibility or show the level of concern you would expect after a kitten died so young under these circumstances. Losing a young kitten this way was devastating for our family. We were trusting this breeder to provide a healthy animal, and instead we were left with heartbreak, grief, and serious unanswered questions about the health of the cats they are selling. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Kittensup4sale. If you are considering buying from this breeder, please be extremely cautious. Ask detailed questions, request health documentation, get everything in writing, and think very carefully before purchasing. We brought home our kitten Freya from KittensUp with so much excitement, but within the first 1-2 days we noticed unusual tearing from her eyes. At first, we thought it was just normal adjustment. By December 24th, however, the tearing had progressed into thick yellow discharge, which alarmed us enough to take her to urgent care on Christmas Day. At urgent care, the veterinarian told us that Freya was showing signs consistent with feline calicivirus and possibly herpes virus -- both conditions that can only be contracted in a breeder or shelter environment, and both lifelong. We were told it was highly unlikely that she had never had a previous episode, as these viruses are extremely contagious and spread through close contact with mothers or littermates. Two days later, on December 26th, we brought her to a second hospital for further testing. The respiratory panel officially confirmed calicivirus as well as bordetella, and the veterinarian strongly suspected that Freya had been exposed before arriving to us. We were also advised she may develop pneumonia. Within her first 13 days with us, Freya spent 5 days in veterinary hospitals, including being placed in an oxygen incubator the day before New Year's Eve due to labored breathing. The emotional stress of seeing a five-month-old kitten go through this has been devastating. The financial cost has also been extremely high -- over $3,800 in medical bills within the first week and a half, not including the adoption or transport costs. We contacted KittensUp's warranty department hoping for some acknowledgment or a good-faith resolution. Instead, we were told that the situation was essentially ours to deal with and were offered no apology, no remedy, and no refund, despite multiple veterinarians confirming that Freya's exposure to these viruses almost certainly occurred prior to us receiving her. One of the hardest things for us to accept is that calicivirus is lifelong and contagious, which means we will never be able to safely give her a cat sibling in the future. This was an important part of our plans for her life, and we were never told that any health risks like this might exist. We are sharing our experience so other potential adopters can be fully aware and ask the right questions. Freya is an angel and deserves the world, but the lack of transparency and responsibility from KittensUp has made this a very painful and costly start to her life with us. read more

I went to the store over the weekend and absolutely fell in love with a Mainecoon named Pesnia. I currently have a Mainecoon and ragdoll so I know what to look for as far as health issues and physical appearance. I went home and immediately started reading their Terms and Conditions. That's when all of the red flags started showing up. The contract requires you to waive your rights under the Florida Pet Lemon Law, meaning you are giving up your rights. If they are willing to back up their pets they would not require this waiver. In addition, they exclude a litany of health issues with little recourse for reimbursement or refund of a sick pet. You are also required to abide by a non-disparaging clause, which means you cant share your bad experience and warn others. Since i did not purchase from them I will be the voice of warning. When I started requesting health records, the responses were vague so I pushed a bit harder. I was sent a DNA Testing Cert from Russia (I assume due to the language) that listed the animal tested as not identified. Therefore there was no way to really know which cat had been tested. I requested further documentation since the provided document could not be verified. They sent me a Cert of Health with a birth date that did not match. When I asked for full record due to this discrepancy I was sent a link to their website where the cat was listed. Obviously this was unacceptable so I called the vet listed directly and got a copy of the records sent to me. The records listed the kitten as underweight with a score of 3/9. A quick google search stated that the kitten would need to be rechecked due to the weight concern. The fact that they could not produce correct and full medical records and their contract is so egregiously one sided, I would stay far far away. read more

My cat is micochipped, has up to date vaccinations and is a good weight. All cats need good homes, my cat came from russia. Took him two days to adjust, he has a great appetite is playful and very loving. Sorry to the small amount of people who had a bad experience but the same goes for shelter cats or breeders in the US. Lots of inbred main coons coming from US breeders at the same price. Just saying. I checkeed my cats TICA registry and had my vet scanned the microchip... All legit. The nanny who delivered my cat was also very commnicative texting me every step of his trip and taking pictures along the way. I have nothing bu good things to say. Bringing home Maximus on March 30, 2025, was supposed to be a dream come true. He was a purebred Maine Coon--a breed I'd long admired--and instantly became part of our family. Sadly, less than four weeks later, Max passed away after being diagnosed with suspected FIP. We fought to save him with everything we had, including emergency ICU care and antiviral treatment. He was only a baby. Max had never been exposed to any other animals outside of the kitten he was housed with at the KittensUp storefront. When we submitted our claim on May 2--including all medical records, a formal letter from our vet confirming a clinical FIP diagnosis, and over $6,200 in emergency care receipts--we weren't asking for a refund. We asked for a store credit or compromise. We even offered to work things out through his GoFundMe. Instead, the response we received was cold, contradictory, and deeply disappointing. They denied the diagnosis without waiting for our vet's follow-up and cited a contract clause that voided their health guarantee due to a vaccine our vet administered--something standard in feline care. But what hurt most was realizing that we never received a copy of the contract in the first place. And when we asked for it, we were ignored. They also claimed Max was "housed alone," even though we were offered his sibling at the store--proof he was not isolated, as they stated. We did everything right. We gave Max love, immediate care, and trusted the seller when they told us he was healthy. And when tragedy struck, we tried to handle it with empathy and openness. Instead of compassion, we were met with disclaimers, silence, and blame. I'm sharing Max's story not to start a fight, but because others deserve to know. Behind every kitten is a family. I originally got him to keep my older cat (13 years old) company. Fast forward to a year later I decide to get another Maine coon kitten because I've read that Maine coons keep each other company. My older Cat (Nala) really didn't play with the first kitten (Arlo), she only tolerated him. The second kitten (Ollie) I received through this company had nothing but problems. I received him and he was full of fleas. He also came with ringworm that I had to treat, but of course it didn't show up until a few days later so the company wasn't responsible. Then within a week of receiving him, he was diagnosed with a respiratory virus, which again the company wasn't responsible for because it was out of the timeframe. This respiratory virus that Ollie Came home with unfortunately ended up killing Nala, she already had asthma and once she caught the virus, she couldn't fight it. Arlo, after bringing Ollie home, also caught the virus and he's been having ongoing allergies ever since that requires medication's and humidified treatments. I texted the company about all of these issues. I was having with this second kitten that I received from them and they once again said that everything was out of the timeframe and they weren't responsible for anything. They did offer to pay me $100 to help with all the vet fees that I had to pay for all of my cats. Since I had to bring every one of them to the veterinarian with the respiratory virus. THEY NEVER PAID ME THE $100. In conclusion, I would recommend paying triple for kitten/Cat that you're interested in versus buying from this company. Because after all the veterinarian fees and medications, it's like I ultimately bought a cat three times the amount that I originally paid ($2,600). My kitten had a slit on his ear as if he had been in a fight. He looked underweight and he had really bad breath. In my years of owning a kitten non of my kittens breath smelted as bad as this kittens. I started asking questions in regard to the health of the kitten. I was told the kitten was being feed raw food which is a plus for Maine Coons but then was told in the store that his breath was because of the kibble he eats. Lie number one. We then spoke on the topic of grooming him and she stated because these kittens are prone to heart disease she wouldn't recommend it. Grooming wouldn't cause heart disease that's something that's passed on. Red flag number two. The ultimate red flag was his weight. He weighed 6.2 pounds in Oct and then was weighed in November at 6.4 pounds that's a .2 weigh gain which is an extreme sign of underlying health issues. A Maine coon kitten should gain around 1 to 2 pounds per month. Now let me explain how The Creator works!!! I'm the type of person that even tho all the red flags are there I feel as tho I can make it better. I was using multiple forms of payment and the first card I decided to use it didn't work. Now mind you before I traveled from TX to FL I made sure all my cards had the proper funds on them. My card simply didn't work. I kept trying other avenues and that didn't work. I finally left the establishment and the kitten. Please listen to people's reviews when they say these cats come sick! From the very beginning my cat was diagnosed with auto immune disease. I paid over 4,000 for my girl cat to come with breeding rights. Not only did I get a sick cat but I can't breed her. Not even five years old yet & I've had to have most of her teeth removed (17) she has skin problems & had a cyst on here ovaries. She is very small, especially for a Maine coon, and doesn't even weight more than 9 pounds. This place is a straight rip off. And then to read other reviews on some peoples cats even dying. So so sad. I love my cat very much & lucky I am able to afford all the procedures she has so far needed. But I should have listened to other people's reviews & this was as far back as 2021. They don't sale you healthy cats. And had I not gotten her fixed her babies would have had the same hereditary problems. Our kitten arrived sick. I took it to vet and she told me it has Calisivirus that is often found in catteries. Poor thing couldn't eat or drink because of a huge sore on his tongue. In addition to that it was what vet told us underweight and had to be force-fed with a syringe :( I contacted KittensUp telling them about this issue and attached a medical bill of $750 from the vet visit. What I was told is "we will only pay for one of his tests" take it or leave it. No apology for delivering a sick kitten and clearly no respect to my time, energy and money spent on making sure this kitten survives and gets well. I scheduled him for an appointment with a certified cardiologist to have an HCM scan, and it was confirmed he has not ONE, but TWO genetic heart defects! KittensUp hasn't responded and probably won't. I will be forced to spend time fighting this through the dispute process. Meanwhile I'm caring for a mixed cat with irreversible heart defects. This will be hard on him later, and costly to me in more ways than one. If you do t want to go through heartache and expensive vet bills please do not consider this place for a kitten... my story is a long one, but I will give a shortened version. Beginning of April I decided to adopt a Mainecoon kitten. paid $2600 plus a $575 travel fee. Got my precious Markus and noticed how bony and underweight he was. He was starving all the time and I fed him whenever he wanted. He did gain a little bit of weight. Went from 3 pounds to 4 1/2 pounds in a few weeks. He was almost 5 months at the time and 3 pounds for a five month old Maine coon kitten is severely underweight. We noticed constant sneezing and sniffling that had begun about a week after we got him. Brought him to the vet several times. He was given an antibiotic shot that did not help and by this time he was so severely sick he could barely walk. Most likely FIP... Poor thing just died at the vet. We were heartbroken. Contacted Kittens Up and gave them all documentation from Vet and we were given a replacement kitten.... Which really wasn't a replacement because we fell in love with our first kitty and was heartbroken but that is what they decided they would do for us and we agreed. A few days after receiving our new kitten, we noticed he also was sneezing, had watery eyes and sniffles. Within two days we brought him to the vet for full blood work and viral tests. He also had diarrhea and Vet found that he had a belly full of parasites and with the viral test coming back had three different viruses in his system! After a few thousand dollars on vet bills, we are hoping that the viruses will stay dormant, and we got rid of the parasites. We contacted our credit card that we paid the Kittens Up and tried to reverse the fee.... We are still fighting with this kitten place, although they have received most of our money unfortunately. Dima was excellent to work with as we adopted our amazing Devon Rex Kitten. He gave us step by step instructions and went above and beyond to help us settle our kitten in. Before purchase Dima went over many aspects of buying a pure bred kitten since this was our first one. For example coat type, food requirements and activity level. Once we decided on a Devon he patiently reached out to several breeders to answer all our questions in a timely fashion and we pondered several options. He made everything work seamlessly even though we had a slight change in transportation unexpectedly just before pick up. After the kitten was home, we immediately had our personal vet thoroughly check over the kitten and she was in perfect health. Dima even told us what we should look for in this species and test for. He helped us select various necessities for our cat and followed up checking on her for weeks! He even helped us find another kitten to be our second baby. I can't say enough good things about this honest, hardworking group. It's important to note that this company is helping people CONNECT with breeders in Europe. They of course cannot guarantee that every European breeder is honest and perfect, but they sure try hard and they do stand by their guarantee. Some responsibility MUST be taken by us as consumers to do our research on breed, genetic conditions etc. Before you get your cat, set up a vet appointment for him right when you get home to avoid heartache. I'd also urge you to keep in mind that without agencies such as this, none of us in America would have access to these animals. Since my initial review my cat has finally gotten diagnosis for the following: Tritrichomoniasis Feline Coronavirus RealPCR C. perfringens Alpha Toxin Otitis Externa *Bacterial Yeast infection in both ears Cryptosporidium Giardia* My cat has not left our apartment, only to be seen by a vet. All of the illnesses that have plagued him were contracted prior to owning him and I was told we're likely contracted by an unsanitary environment with multiple cats present. My vet is beyond upset that anyone could sell cats/kittens in these conditions and have no moral conscious. If you still have intentions of purchasing from this business, please pick a trusted vet and have them looked at as soon as they are handed to you. Run every kind of test before you watch them slowly deteriorate month after month with no answer. There is no way a educated Veternarian would look at a kitten like mine and sign off on him as healthy and ready to go. I have contacted the business without response. My lawyer advised me to give the option to settle amicably, outside a courtroom setting. I took his advise and sent an email regarding diagnosis and $1,891.65 spent in vet visits and medical tests that I have incurred, but the lack of response speaks volumes. We unfortunately will be taking this to court. (I have reached out to 3 different lawyers for second opinions and all have advise me that this is 100% valid and stands in a court of law.) I bought an OSH kitten from Kittensup and he had such serious motor function skills depleted within 2 months of receiving him that he had to be euthanized at 6 months old. The Vet said it was either a genetic spine disorder or the kitten got a serious illness at a very young age that caused the kitten to lose almost all its motor skills to the point the kitten couldn't defecate. Kittens Up was contacted at the 1st sign of illness and was sent all info regarding the Vets determination and all the vet bills. I bought the kitten for $3500 and I incurred over $1500 in Vet bills yet Kittens up only offered $1000 for a refund. This company is very fraudulent and will not live up to their promises st. I'm out the vet bills because Nationwide pet insurance won't cover it because it was a pre-existing condition. I requested that Kittensup refund my money and pay the vet bills. They put me off by requesting invoices from the vet so I sent that to them than they wanted the synopsis from the vet and I got them that. It was all a stall tactic. They offered to send me $1000 altogether and I refused and requested a refund for the kitten $3500 and vet bills be reimbursed of over $1500. They have ghosted me and when I cal them they either hang up on me or won't anser my call. Discpicable these people. read more

Please make sure if you buy a kitten from them you ask for vaccination of feline leukemia and evidence of the kitten has been tested for feline AIDS. I am given a 5 out of 5 bc they booked and delivered our kitten with no issues. Out kitten was amazingly beautiful and he stole our heart. Make sure you know how to handle cats. Our Maine Coon was a handful the first 2 months. He is now great but we had to keep him separated in our restroom for a month and he was out for hours to get used to other cats and our cats to accept him. Kittens Up claimed that he was vaccinated for feline aids. However, once my kitten came down with an enlarged heart and panleukopenia, it turns out that he was not vaccinated for feline aids, as stated by my veterinarian. The vaccine apparently also covers panleukopenia, and had he been properly vaccinated as they claimed, he would have had a fighting chance. I was in love with this kitten, and I didn't even get to have him for a week. I can't stop sobbing. When I messaged them, they were wildly unprofessional and apathetic. They can't even say "I'm so sorry this has happened to you". They just want your money, they don't care about the kittens. Beware and stay away!!!! read more

I am so pleased with my experience with KittensUp. I reached out in late January 2021 requesting a Siberian kitten in time for Valentine's Day as a present for my kids. Making that kind of request with such short time frame is a lot to ask for, but the owners made it happen! I ended up getting 2 kittens, which was an excellent decision since they are each other's best friends. I requested photos, videos, updates, and was answered promptly every time. The kittens came in from the Ukraine and although they had a difficult first week (to be expected with all the travel) they have been the best addition to our family. It's been about 5 months and the kittens are wonderful. They are in perfect health, they don't scratch or bite, they are sweet and cuddly, no excessive meowing, truly the best cats I've ever had. Thank you for getting back to me, yes I understand that sometimes orders need to be canceled to do things we can't avoid, the seller changing her mind and not keeping her word is not one of them!!! ! . I never said this was amazon, I made a contract to pay $2200 , I was not expecting it to be taken so lightly by the seller, if anything they are the ones that treated this transaction as an Amazon I can cancel whenever I want thing. We got our little Scottish Fold kitten here, who is the cutest little thing ever. Flew out to pick up in person and bring to Las Vegas. The lady that was handling all the selling process was very efficient and communicated throughout the process. Our kitty did have a little bit of diarrhea but upon taking her to her new veterinarian in Nevada, everything is fine. The vet said it must've been from our flight and change of food. This is the best place to get a purebred cat you will find. They are raised in loving homes and not in a "factory" and are absolutely amazing. They are as beautiful as can be, and also as intelligent as possible. All breeds are different and have different temperaments and my Scottish fold is exactly how is he supposed to be, he is also exceptional in every way. It is clear he has had nothing but love from humans and is SO content and over time he has become so close with me it has truly touched my heart and made me so much happier. This business deserves more than 5 stars, and it seems the only negative reviews are very misleading. When I was picking up my cat, ALL of the kittens there were incredible, and super super sweet and loving. The first 4 months of the cats life is probably the most crucial and they take care of it for you, and make sure it goes well. An incredible value. A kitten too young in a home may be more afraid of say a child who doesn't know how to treat them yet or another pet that is territorial. My kitten is so well adjusted he gets along with both, and it is amazing to see. The people who raise them are simply amazing! However; no matter how well raised, the kitty will naturally be afraid of the massive transition temporarily, because he had no way to know what's happening. But it's unbelievable how quickly they will figure it out and start to make their new life in their new home and embrace the ones who are there for them. Maybe a 2 week transition before he really started to open up. You have to earn their trust and it pays off!! When he first got to my place, he found a place under a couch that I can't get to and I let him have that as his safe space. I never forced my kitty to come out till he was ready, and after a couple weeks he acts like he owns the place lol :) but also he warmed up to me really well that way, he knows I am just there to care for him and keep him safe. He still occasionally goes to his old safe space (can barely fit now) just for that original comfort he found here but now he has about 15 different places he likes to snooze lol Purchase your cat here and you will thank me later, just do your research on what the breed you want is supposed to act like, and consider the little things you should do to encourage the kitty to adapt to his new home well. read more
