I had been researching for a Maine Coon kitten when I happened upon this site. I'll be the first to admit that I was extremely nervous about scams and sick kittens. I honestly wasn't convinced this place actually existed. However, I was able to speak to Slava on the phone and he was able to locate a kitten that I described to him. We drove to Miami to pick the kitten up and I was extremely impressed that it wasn't a scam and at how immaculate their location was. It is impeccably maintained and all the kittens appeared clean, well fed and happy. I couldn't believe how streamlined and simplified the process was to get my dream pedigreed Coon. Our siblings Fred and George Weasley ( Ron's older brother's twins) came from Ukraine. We were unsure of their safety and the people caring for them. The boys traveled well on airplanes and cars. If I could give negative stars I would. I'll say I DID get a full refund. That doesn't erase the emotional stress & lies. I picked out a cat on their site to surprise my family for Christmas. I have allergies & needed a Siberian, or we would have adopted. Initially the woman I spoke with on 12/14 was responsive & nice. I was very nervous as I've never bought an animal online. & there are a TON of scams. They are not a scam. However, take note of all the health issues their animals had in other reviews. On 12/15 I'm told he didn't do well in his neutering surgery and would no longer be able to ship that Friday; they already had my money. I was given another option from the same breeder. I asked questions you are SUPPOSED to ask (seeing video of the living conditions, up to date videos, etc). I said I needed some answers before they ship me a cat in 3 days I've not agreed to. On 12/16 I received an email stating "We will be canceling your order due to we can't work under your circumstances." The email in short said I expected too much I was devastated as it meant no kitten for my family & they made me feel like being a responsible buyer was a bad thing. I called & the owner wouldn't talk to me. They made a horrible decision to lie and make me feel like I was the problem when they could have just said we are so sorry we didn't realize these cats weren't available and tried to make it right. Well, I wasn't about to fail my family, so I decided I look up catteries in the US & Russia. ZERO in the US had any available. They FaceTime'd me via WhatsApp right away, showed me their home, paperwork/pedigrees, all the cats, etc. This family was INCREDIBLE with not only GORGEOUS cats, but WORLD CHAMPIONS. We got TWO cats with papers/pedigrees, chips, verified veterinarian visits, 2 carriers, shipping cost (Russia to LAX), food, a full binder with pics and papers of parents, vet certificates, etc. for the price of ONE cat from KittensUp that would NOT come with anything. Talk about up-charging! She then told me who to contact for shipping. This is where God stepped in. Joy in Moscow is sweet & tells me she is also a breeder & shows me her site. It's THE BREEDER of the 2 cats we tried to buy from KittensUp! Out of everyone in the world we get sent to this person! She told me I was lied to & the cat we wanted was never sick, but was already in the US sold. The 2nd one was also sold. She felt horrible of my treatment and that I was lied to. I attached pics of part of our conversation. I blurred the name of her cattery, as I ended up using the above mentioned cattery and can't say enough good about it. Joy doesn't include papers and is more expensive than DikoePole. I was lied to about the cats by KittensUp & made to feel like I did something wrong. I am grateful it fell apart as God had something even better for us. You CAN go direct to Russia. DikoePole was GREAT. Skip the middle man drama & save $. We have a wonderful friendship now & they are available for any questions we have as they want their kittens to have the best transition possible & see that we care so much. Anyone that avoids a FaceTime, answering your questions or makes you feel bad is someone to RUN from. Yesterday, my parents, 82, and I drove 40 minutes to see a sweet little Siberian kitten at Kittens Up. I had to call 10 times over four days to make this appointment with the owner. My intention was that I might meet the kitten immediately after she arrives and finally the owner gave me an appointment. She told me to come Saturday because someone else is scheduled to come by on Sunday. We made it to the door of the business only to have her yell to me that the kitten is sold. That the family was there to pick her up. ....I had just spoken to her on the phone two hours before when scheduling my visit. She then said "I should have bought her online." At the very least, I believe she could have called me so I didn't make the drive. There's a reason I didn't buy her online and that is because I read the heartbreaking reviews about the sickly kittens customers have unknowing purchased from this business. The stories I read were familiar to me because I unknowingly purchased my little dog from a breeder who was unethical and my little angel died eight weeks ago at the age of 3. I thought I would go in person to see this kitten and ask the important questions about her health, parents and so forth and see her general health in order to see if I could trust them. I absolutely had great concerns and I'm not sure I would have done business with them. We purchased a Maine Coon kitten from Kittens Up, delivered around Halloween 2020. Although we named him Goblin, he is a remarkably smart, confident, and lovable kitty. After a long flight from Miami to Los Angeles and another couple hours in traffic, he finally arrived and immediately set about making himself at home. He played with every toy, dragging each, no matter the size into his newly claimed cat cave. He is a champion eater, walks on a lead, impressed his vets and even charmed a family member who once professed an intense hatred of cats. As to his health, besides a mild cold that developed shortly after he arrived, he has so far passed his vet exams with one exception. He was to be neutered before we received him but our vet discovered that he was either only half neutered or will require more invasive surgery to complete the procedure. Ultrasound determined he wasn't neutered at all and is scheduled for surgery in March. Nonetheless this is only a minor inconvenience when weighed against the absolute joy he has brought our family. I have been meaning to leave a review for a while-I purchased my Bengal kitten listed as Milli on the site in late 2020. She was delivered via the nanny service that I selected in December 2020. I want to state that first, she was and is very healthy-confirmed by my vet. She is also very beautiful-her coat is gorgeous and soft. I was also pleased that she seemed to be well socialized-she was pretty comfortable with my family including my kids from arrival. I felt like she had been raised in a family situation. I purchased her with the intention that she would be a great companion for my Bengal that I already had (also a kitten). She was so sweet and patient with the cat that I already had-she seemed to just wait and watch until my cat was ready to welcome her into our home. She was litter trained upon arrival, clean and her nails were nicely trimmed. I am very please with this kitten that I purchased-She is well loved and we are very happy to have her in our family. I bought a cat from this place who I loved so much and had to put him down at 11 months old due to a genetic heart disease. He was too young to die and when I brought this to their attention they didn't care or help. He also was supposed to be fixed and he didn't come fixed. They claim on their site they would give out a credit but didn't. I payed over $2k for the cat and over 1.5k for his appointments for his heart disease. The vet clearly stated it was a genetic heart disease and was presented at birth. This place does not check their cats for any disease. I don't recommend buying a cat from this place. read more

I only found out after my vet didn't trust the results and papers they provided. And Infact she had some issues. I don't believe the check the kitten once they arrive to the USA. If you buy, buy with caution. You might get a kitten with health issues as they don't really check. My kitten was also not litter trained at all. I adopted two kittens from them. Both came not looking anything like their pictures. But they were still cute & you just had to love them. Within the week of getting them, they both had bad sinus infections and had to be put on antibiotics. And within 3 months of getting one of the kittens, we had to put her down because she had FIB, which is a disease for cats that they don't have a cure for. It was the hardest thing having to do. You would expect that paying $1500 for a cat, you'd get a healthy cat. But neither of them were healthy. The one that's still alive still has sinus issues. I would just be very careful about which cat you choose to adopt. And if the kitten comes sick, make sure to return it, and save your selves from a heartbreak. read more

I have to admit first one is really sweet Scottish male kitten and we're so happy with him. 2nd one - Scottish straight golden chinchilla female kitten was sold to us with inherited disorder, that was not disclosed to us at the time of purchase. 6 months later kitty past away. Before placing order at this place be advised that seller will take your money but you would be TOTALLY IGNORED when/if some issue might arise later. Please note the following: This company (ARE NOT BREEDERS) just arrange the import of the kittens to the US, with the documentation that is not accurate (faked vaccine list) - have my vets proof on it. Kittens are overpriced - please do your research of the actual breeding houses in Moscow how much show quality cats do really cost. KittensUp4Sale import their kittens from Ukraine, even cheaper to get one there. Most breeders would provide you with the genetic certification along detailed purchase contract - not this LLC. I do understand that LLC had expenses to import the sick kitty and being a reasonable person, I've asked only for a partial refund - I was totally ignored last couple months by the seller, no solution was offered from their end. Sadly had to take the legal action in order to resolve this matter. It is waste of everyone's time but it is not fair how this LLC is running it's business. Can't just make the profit - have to accept liability that comes with it. You are running business in the United States - not in a 3rd world country. Shelters are overfilled with kittens - the reason we did not get one from there, was health concern. Now, I wish we did and that is what I'd recommend to consider for everyone. Good day this is in addition to my original review as I had stated the owner gets very aggressive saying how it's your fault when the cats are sick he'll state that it's the food you've given Even if it's the exact food they told you to feed themthem if an under 12 hours they have massive diarrhea and dehydration which be wary to look at the rear ends you can usually tell when the kitten has a dirty rear end that it's been having an issue and you are it's because it happened on your watch in the first 12 hours you owned them. Also unless you own a wildcat domesticated cats are all cats whether they're full bred or whether you adopted them from the shelter and to be honest you find more problems with purebreds than with Heinz 57 breeds of animals that's something people take on as a risk when they want a purebred animal. I purchased three not five cats and two of the three are dead both from wet FIP and yes I understand how FIP works the problem I see is that there are several people that complain about this to you and I wonder if you even go back to the cattery where you purchase your cats abroad and let them know that there's a problem. Not to mention I wasn't going to continue to call you with problems as you were very aggressive and not very friendly and we're totally just concerned about the monetary aspect instead of the customer service aspect if people will take a look on Better Business Bureau and on yelp and on Facebook not that I discount the people that were upset and gave a low review in reference to their cat got canceled or had to be rescheduled which I find a minuscule problem compared to adopting an animal loving it and having it have some terrible disease there is often talk of FIP and your response is always it is our fault nothing ever falls on youOn the negative reviews you receive several people talk about it and it is with a mother and it is congenital and you are correct there are animals that have it and never have an adverse effect but their carriers but once you are advised that two or more Cats from your cattery have died from this disease and have been sick from the day we got them then I would think that you would want to at least advise someone I'm going to look into it I am going to contact the catteryand As you well know they generally do not test for this disease and so that wasn't what I was trying to blame you with your response when you find out the cats that you have distributed have it is that it's always the owners fault everything is the owners fault if you spend money to nurse a kitten back to health it's the owners fault even if that kitten was purchased 12 hours prior even if that cat weighs 2 1/2 pounds and by the time a long weekend is over would probably dieand I know that is something beyond your control but when people contact someone that's doing business in this industry I would've liked to be treated nicer And the answer isn't always something that the new owner has done wrong sometimes there is something wrong with the catMy main coon as beautiful as he was never got to full size because of his disease that I wasn't aware he had as well as the continual problems with his rear end And his prolapsed anus and as you know when we received him he had had a fractured leg and his back had been cut open from a fight he had well in your possession Which you honestly advised us of before his purchasewhich could've been when he contracted the disease but most likely they continually tell me from vets and where I had necropsies done it's directly from the mother. I got a 5month blue pureblood British shorthair kitten from them. We can tell that the kitten is taken care very well before arriving our home, based on behaviors and observation with kitten these days. The whole buying process and shipping is within time range like what they are saying. They provide all needed documentation and vaccines record. They also provide certified family history of the kitten , which is from federal international feline(FIFe)data base . Only thing I am concerning before I purchased is that the kitten is actually imported from Ukraine and not raised up here in USA. I have gotten 2 kitties (Maine coons) from kittens up and they have been very up front with us with the conditions if the cats. Our first cat Kai they called us before hand and let us know if his heart murmur that they said was a 3-4 and they gave us the option of bowing out. At first we did but we fell in love with all the photos they sent us. We took him to our vet and they confirmed he had a stage 4 heart murmur. We took him knowing thus and we will give him the best years of his life. Our second cat we just got about 2 weeks ago. They called him exotic but we changed his name to cobra. Healthy has they come. We took him to the vet as well. Both cats are now getting along like two peas in a pod. All I can say is do your research when buying pets online. This place is real and they stand by their pets. We are very pleased with our cats. I also want to add that we had these cat shipped by plane and paid extra for a nanny to fly with them. We didn't even have to go into the airport. The met us outside with the cat and the paperwork. Which I might add they they can with proof of vaccines from a vet. We gave these to our vet so they can have them on file. read more

I bought a kitten within a month of having her she started showing signs of illness. I took her to vet and find out she has FIV which is incurable. She was my only cat and was never exposed to any other cats or animals in my care. Meaning kittens up sold me a kitten with FIV. read more

I bought in this store, in August 2020 and in December my cat got sick. Before making a claim to the store, I called on two different occasions to find out if the FIP they cover it in their guarantee for sick cats, they told me that they did that their guarantee policy did cover that disease. I read all the reviews of the store and I found one where a customer had submitted a claim for the same situation as me and they answered that they were responsible for reimbursing them 100% cost of the cat and that the store also covered the veterinary costs that customer had to pay and they let it be known that they did it without any medical evidence. I went to the store with the printed file of 3 different veterinary clinics including a veterinary internist and the death certificate explaining my cat's illness and and the capture of the review where this store says that it is responsible for 100% of the cat cost and veterinary expenses . Contacting the store manager was very difficult, they passed the ball from one place to another and after several days and failed attempts the manager appeared and told me that he would NOT recognize any medical costs and that he could only give me another cat for 50% off a new cat. I chose another cat as he blackmailed me that this would only be possible if an acquaintance who had placed a negative review on them remove that bad review otherwise there would be no deal. I am sure that the answer to this review will be trying to justify and defend oneself and NO I do not accept a defense, I have proof of their blackmail, that they did not cover my veterinary expenses and that they do not fulfill their guarantee of illness. I was so nervous to look to purchase a Maine Coon kitten outside of the US but because of Covid-19, owning a cat is what everyone seems to want to do so there were no cats in the entire country available! I spent a few weeks researching Russian Maine Coon imports and found Kittens Up in Florida. They have long standing relationships overseas and immediately put me at ease. They provided all paperwork requests under 24 hours. They confirmed flights, they sent updated photos and videos and reassured us that the kitten would be safe and healthy. He arrived a week ago right to our house in Massachusetts with a friendly cat courier and I couldn't believe it. My girls are in love with this cat and so am I! He made the trip with a wonderful courier and a fantastic breeder who clearly worked hard to get him safely to his size and is a confident, comfortable kitten in social situations. I picked up my kitten on Friday. Flew out from mass to Florida and then back to mass to surprise my daughter for her 10th birthday. The very next day the kitten was extremely ill gasping for air, runny eyes and nose, wouldn't drink or eat. I went immediately to the emergency vet. The poor baby was in distress. Of course I'm going to do everything to help this baby. When I tried contacting kittens up they didn't answer the calls about 10 of them and the mailbox was full. I then started to email. Their response ship her to us we will take care of it here. Absolutely not an option to send a very sick kitten alone on another plane ride with a pandemic happening and the kitty with Covid symptoms. I sent the vet notes and invoice asking to get reimbursed the cost of the vet so that we can do what's needed to take care of her and they respond with we will give you money for the medication cost $30 when the vet bill was over $500 and she may need further care. Let me be clear we absolutely are in love with this baby and will do whatever it takes to help her. We saved for months to be able to get this baby and fly back and forth to bring her home. Kittens up talk about how loving and caring they are and then take no responsibility and show no compassion for this poor really sick baby. Ship her back was the answer.
