Excellent service. Our cats were very well cared for while we were away, and they took to the space really well. Couldn't ask for better.

My family and I were visiting Reno from out of town when we were met with unexpected restrictions…read moreregarding our pet. Camp Bow Wow was quick to respond to my inquiries and settle any concerns I had. This was our first time using any doggy day care/boarding service and it the service was beyond what I could have expected. We were nervous, but they did a great job letting us know how she did for her initial interview, answered any questions I had throughout her stay and were extremely flexible with our schedule. My pup was even excited to return when we had to drop her off again! She participated in a few activities, like the pool pawty and sniff and seek and I even got some cute pictures of her experience! They have cameras that you can view from the app, and my pup always looked happy to be there. It gave us such peace of mind to know she was enjoying her little vacation too! If we ever find ourselves in Reno, we will be sure to be back! Thank you!

My dogs are very senior and they take very good care of them. Even when one of my huskies passed away recently, they were so kind and considerate. I always recommend this place for my dog parent friends in south Reno. Overall review: This place is extremely easy to schedule a time for daycare or boarding. You can call online or the app. I've never had an issue trying to get a booking when calling ahead. The stay is extremely kind and nice when I check in/out. My dogs had never had an emergency or issue while they were there. Experiences: They have these cute little photo/treat sessions with all the holidays. They're great to have that some other dog daycares do, but are 2X-3X the price. I love bringing my dog in just for these. Pricing: I think they're in the middle of the road cost compared to other places I take my dogs too. I think it's a pretty standard fee. However, knowing my dogs are taken care of is a great peace of mind. Facility: It's always clean when I bring my dog in, other places we have been too are not this clean. They have cameras so you can use the app to check in on your dog. There is easy parking. This is by far the closest and best place for me living in South Reno - Damonte Ranch area for dog boarding and daycare!

Sudeep was very attentive with our dogs, giving them lots of treats, pets, playtime and walks and gave them special attention at feeding time. Our dogs were treated like they were a part of his family. He sent us lots of photos and videos which put our minds at ease that they were doing fine, as this was the first time that we had to board our dogs. His stellar communication was much appreciated. We highly recommend Home Paws and Stay for a great boarding experience!

Growing up, I was always surrounded by animals and shared my life with breeds like Great Danes, Labradors, and Pomeranians. Being around dogs has always brought me joy, and that passion continues to this day. Friends and family often ask me to care for their pets because they know how much I love animals and how seriously I take that responsibility. I prefer to care for one dog at a time so I can give them my full attention, love, and care—just like they deserve. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I make it a point to always keep my promises and provide peace of mind. In addition to pet sitting, I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, playing guitar, and spending quality time with friends. I’m always eager to learn more about animals and how to provide the best care for them. Looking forward to meeting you and your beloved pet!

They have all been very good to me and my boys. I have also always had their shots done, and was always prepared for that since they notify you by email in advance when their shots are expiring. They have extended my boys stays on short notice or were able to get them in on short notice as well. The only thing that has ever been required sooner than most places was kennel cough, and flu which is completely understandable! SO THANK YOU CHRISTOPHER RAYNOR , for pulling out so my pups could go in on short notice, especially since my boys shots were up to date. On another note Mr. Raynor, don't go trash talking my family. I consider The Bark House extended family since they have always taken care of my boys and have always notified me when my pups were due for their shots. I don't appreciate someone who trash talks my family when you sir, were not in compliance, and really dude...do you know that parvo can kill a dog? Again, The Bark House has always taken care of my boys, and if you give them enough heads up they will even bath them before you head in to taken them home! I recommend them to everyone and they are good supporters of military, police and I believe first responders as well. But being military and police, they have supported me and my boys since I discovered them! They are wonderful with my boys which always come home tired and happy from playing! Thank you my Bark House family! Always, Alpha & Grizzly's Mom

The good - the female facilitator and the other gentleman were very sweet. They gave a great tour, and were always happy to take calls or answer questions. I think this place is great for folks who work on USA Parkway, or folks who are content with quick exchanges with no feedback. The bad - Unfortunately most of my drop offs consisted of dealing with Thomas, the owner. He made it clear pretty early on that he thought me and my dog had "anxiety issues". When I picked my dog up each day I liked to ask how her day was, as I'm genuinely interested (I love my dog lol) and it's nice to make small talk. Thomas took this interaction as me thinking my dog had a problem, and would make comments about my dog having some type of issue. He constantly rubbed me the wrong way, saying it was incorrect for me to say goodbye to my dog as it would increase her anxiety, and mentioning that I shouldn't call in to check on her. The final straw was today, Thomas had made a comment to my husband yesterday that my dog was "nippy" with him, and I wanted to talk to Thomas about it directly as I was genuinely concerned about my dog showing potential signs of aggression. Upon me asking him about it, he immediately let me know I should probably find another daycare, as I'm the owner he deals with that has the most issues or concerns. I tried to amicably let him know I'm only trying to get more information on the situation, but he kept insisting I go somewhere else since I'm not happy. This was a totally unprofessional way to speak to me, and as a paying customer I think it's well within my right to ask second level questions about my dog's behavior. I will be taking his advice, and going to a different daycare that doesn't view me as a problem customer for checking in on my dog or asking about her at pickup. 2 stars because they helped us out during days we needed dog care, and I'm appreciative for that!
