I have finally found a dress shop that gets me! Kiyonna's boutique is small but mighty! When I need a special occasion dress, I don't waste time anymore running around from store to store! I just straight to Kiyonna! Not only do I find my size, their dresses are very flattering. And every time I wear a Kiyonna dress, I get compliments all sorts of compliments. Carrie is usually the one that helps me at the boutique - she's great! So friendly and helpful! I have also referred friends and family to the Kiyonna boutique and they have found exactly what they needed and left happy. My sister in law has troubles finding plus size clothing for women in a nice selection and variety. They don't have enough of these types of stores now a days especially during the pandemic they have shut down many of these types of stores. We came here on a nice Thursday afternoon, and let me tell you this... you will never regret coming here. I've never seen a plus size store have such a beautiful variety of clothing for women of a curvy figure. It's unique. It's beautiful. I wish other plus size stores would put so much thought and effort like this store does. The clothing variety ranges from semi casual to bridal wear. My sister in law was able to pick out 7 pieces of clothing that fitted her body type very well. She was so happy! We didn't have to go to the other stores we have on our list to go to. The customer service was excellent! No complains and they even helped us through our whole shopping experience. The prices varies in this store but if you want to find pieces that would last you while, not break after a few washes and you are able to spend a little bit more for the quality, please check this store out. My wife and I stopped in the day after Christmas to exchange a dress. Normally the day after Christmas stores can be unbearable but our experience at Kiyonna was anything but that. Kayleigh was the sales rep that took care of us and she was patient, professional and just plain friendly. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Maria, who was so warm and welcoming, I knew we were off to a good start. She called a sales associate to help us, her name is Kayleigh. Look Amazing Feel Amazing! A few years ago, I had a photo shoot. One of the dresses we used was made by Kiyonna. I was not familiar with the company but LOVED the fit of the dress. For the first time, it seemed that a dress was made for fuller figure women without making us feel frumpy. A few months later I reached out to the company about collaborating for another photo shoot for a magazine. Anytime I reach out to the company, they have always been very kind. The quality of each item is excellent! It compliments every figure! I've been shopping at the Kiyonna showroom store in Anaheim for several years now, and I love the boutique atmosphere and helpful/friendly customer attention I receive each and every visit!Their showroom is beautiful and offers seating for guests. Their dressing rooms are spacious and they stock pretty much every size available in each piece (and they will run into the stockroom to look for what they don't have on the showroom floor). The clothes: Every single one of their pieces is designed and made right here in the U.S. You pay a little more for their pieces (they do offer great discounts and have amazing showroom clearance shows a few times a year...one is going on in store until the end of May right now!), but they are very well made and are definitely tailored to fit a fuller figured frame (Think fuller bust, wider/fuller hips and thighs, or larger bellies). They size their clothes 0x-5x, with 0x being a 10/12, 1x 14/16...Their clothes wash up beautifully (I've owned several tops for a good 3-4 years that I wash and wear weekly, and they still look pretty good...wash on delicate and tumble dry 10-15 minutes and hang or lay flat to dry the rest of the way). I'm very busty and have larger arms and thicker hips. I usually wear a standard 14, but occasionally wear a 12 or 16. At Kiyonna I typically fit well into a 0x, but occasionally have to size up to 1x to accommodate my bust. My mom wears a standard 8/10, and occasionally can wear a 0x at Kiyonna if not cut too generously through the bust/hips. Like I said, their clothes are cut for a curvy figure, and my mom is a slim 8/10. I just stopped in and took advantage of their spring showroom clearance event and I browsed their full price showroom as well. Found two destination daydream tops in the clearance section and two in the regular show room, and I couldn't be happier! Thank you ladies for the royal treatment. Give Kiyonna a try! read more

Too bad so sad. So i went to the website for Kiyonna and they only had size 1x left. Panicking that it would be sold out, I ordered it. I also sent an email asking if they has the larger size hiding in the warehouse. Monday, Amanda from Kiyonna got back to me. I have just had the worst customer experience with Kiyonna. I wanted the Middleton dress in 2x. Carrie, the Sales Manager while on the Chat function, promised to hold my order until the Middleton dress came into stock. At that time, she would honor the sale price, and send out my order in one package, as I am a Canadian shopper and shipping is expensive. When my order was shipped, I was surprised and contacted Kiyonna. When I spoke with Gabby, I found out that the dress will no longer be stocked. So I was duped into placing an order, for the Middleton dress that I will not be able to purchase. Nevertheless, they have the dress on Amazon, in my size, but I cannot have that dress....not sure why, since it is their item, they are the sellers. Horrible experience. Bcuz it looks like Ur in the middle of an industrial warehouse area, but than once U see the big business sign on top of the dark tinted glass building, enter driveway on left and U will c a handful of easy upfront parking marked for Kiyonna visitors, once U enter- the showroom I was surprised of how spacious & stylish the layouts of the clothing were displayed, as if U were at a high end department store, big dressing rooms, great choices in modern, casual 2 formal outfits that are comfortable and made for us ladies with sophisticated curves. Prices are higher than normal but you can't beat the great quality and long lasting material & no-fade color. Favorite part- I was made to feel like I was rich & famous, by having my own personal shopper & stylist, Jeanette Thank U for being so helpful during my short break, she was very knowledgeable about all the merchandise and sales, sizes and styles & made great recommendations. I bought a dress from this store in early May of 2022. The dress didnt fit and had a very odd smell. I emailed the company to get a return label and never heard from them. I tried calling and leaving a message never heard from them. So I decided to send the dress back to them and its been over 2 weeks still havent heard from the and no refund. I called today 6/2022 was hung up on and then called customer service back to get voice mail once again. Horrible customer service will never buy a piece of merchandise from them ever again. Will now have my credit card reverse the charges for this merchandise. Any organization that doesnt return emails or messages are not worth my hard earned money. Let me preface this with a little back-story: My mum just died. I have less than a week to find a funeral appropriate outfit (shoes/hosiery/dress/etc). I went to both the Glendale Galleria AND Burbank mall to search the usual suspects : Lame Giant, Horrid, JC pennyless, Cra-Cracy's, Hurlington Crap Factory, etc.. Not only could the idiot sales associates not comprehend, "funeral attire", but they all tried to push me into whatever leftover black (or mostly black) dresses they had leftover from the summer season, or the newest uber-casual sweater dress :/ I broke down into tears twice at each mall. Between the stress and grief, I just needed SOMETHING to go my way. I went home exhausted and puffy-eyed. Then I remembered I saw a perfect dress on the Shame & Buyit (Lane Bryant) website but it was a special order Kiyonna dress.. Not knowing how their sizing runs on my frame, I searched retail locations and found the Anaheim location! It was worth the drive. IT WAS WORTH THE 50+ mile, each way, drive! The sales associates are helpful and considerate. The shop is clean and orderly. The selection is gorgeous and the garment construction is excellent! It was the first time in years I felt wonderful while shopping. I feel like other plus size lines were originally a size 2 template that someone just xeroxed until it was big enough to accommodate a big body, with no consideration for the body wearing it! Kiyonna dresses are designed to accommodate curves in a flattering way. Not in a, "sausage with ruffles" kind of way..but a, "wow I feel amazing in this" kind of way! I smiled..I smiled while trying on clothing in a store full of beautiful things in MY size! They have a colourful line with forgiving and flattering fabrics. The prices are justified by the quality of the garments. Please LOVE YOURSELF LADIES and visit the store. It feels phenomenal to be treated like a human being and to not feel discouraged while browsing the rack! I have bragged to all of my friends and shared my dress-shopping triumph on FB. I too have asked myself why clothing designers think that just because you're not a size 4, the rear end of a garment must be cut in such disproportion to the rest of the garment. Apparently the designers at Kiyonna have been in this position too. With tasteful clothing in a huge number of sizes 10 and up, they offer an easy shopping experience. I entered Kiyonna needing a black dress for a wedding I'm in. I needed something tasetful and flattering. While I can shop in regular stores, I found that "tasteful" seemed to eliminate 90% of dresses available. After much online searching, I discovered Kiyonna and took a trip to their store. Located in a sleek office building in Anaheim, you are greeted by Kiyonna staff upon entering. They direct you to their showroom, and you're free to browse. I pulled outfit after outfit and eventually settled on a black dress that looked and felt great. The garments are clearly of high quality and reasonable in their pricing. The sales staff was attentive and friendly, even putting up with my inability to keep track of the black dress I wanted, leading to multiple try-ons of their black lace dresses to ensure I'd picked out the right one. The clothing and service at Kiyonna are both amazing. I've purchased dresses from them for years, and have always loved the way I look in them. Both the online and in-person boutique experience are wonderful. But here's what puts them over the top in my book. I purchased my wedding dress from them, and it was lovely. But a few weeks before the big day, I noticed there was a tear in the lace. I was heartbroken. I contacted Kiyonna, and they let me exchange it even though it was past the return/exchange window. I love their clothes and came to see their new location in Anaheim Hills with a friend who was wedding dress shopping. The new location is in an industrial/commercial area with a small parking lot with only 2 visitor spaces. Since this isn't a super high traffic retail location, that worked out just fine. The new store is more spacious and nicely decorated. It's all on the ground level which is an improvement from the last place. The clothes are still great, well fitting, super comfortable clothes. It's pricey for everyday kind of wear, but great for a special occasion outfit or dress. read more

First time going to Kiyonna, and it was an incredible shopping experience! I'll admit I was a little intimidated pulling up to their show room, it's in a large sleek black building. I second guessed myself thinking, "maybe I needed to make an appointment here?!" and I almost drove away, but the second I walked in the door I was greeted by a friendly receptionist in their front room and a store clerk. They noticed my hesitation and said, "are you here to shop? come on in." Their staff was nice and extremely helpful. The clerk talked to me casually gathering information about what I was looking for, showed me some dresses on their website that matched the style of ones I was selecting from their showroom, and even pulled some from the back! The best part is she wasn't pushy or in my face trying to make a sale. Their showroom is very clean, bright and decorated nicely. Almost everything I saw online was displayed. I bought an evening gown for an upscale wedding I attended in downtown LA in May and since then I have bought two of their wrap dresses and, recently, my wedding dress. I was heartbroken last month to find out the the dress I had been so sure was my perfect dress had been discontinued through another retailer. I hadn't realized that Kiyonna made wedding dresses, but after realizing that my dream dress was out of the picture I checked out Kiyonna.
