No they don't have it anymore They didn't serve my husband's and my meal at the same time we had to wait at least 10 more minutes for his. The seafood soup had no flavor and very little seafood in it. Service was just Ok we had to ask for sugar and later spice ( chilli sauce) to add flavor to the soup. I have always had a good experience ordering from here whether to dine in or take out. The menu is HUGE, but everything we've ever ordered has been delicious and came in a generous serving size. It is definitely meant for family style eating. The prices are high but it is to be expected in a casino. We normally use our casino rewards which usually covers our entire family's meal. I saw some reviews regarding their service and I don't really get it. They have always been very accommodating regardless of the size of the party. They are constantly cleaning tables and we hardly ever wait longer than 10-15 minutes. Well made Chinese food made fresh is going to take some time so it's understandable. Maybe because I grew up in the SGV I know you have to call someone over and not just wait for them to come by and ask you if you need anything but again, has never been a problem for me. Same with our take out. It's always come nicely packaged and never had any problems with ordering. There is normally someone who is seating everyone who comes by as soon as a table is open and has spoken clear English. My favorite order here is the basil clams. This was my second time here. We had to wait in a line, even though there were several tables open. Not sure if it was due to not enough help, which is a problem in many places at this time. We were finally seated in a nice booth. We enjoyed the shrimp with black bean sauce last time so we got it again. It was very good, although I felt the onions were too strong and pungent. Also I wish there were more red and green peppers. Our waiter brought us our dish, but didn't bring rice. Here, you have to ask for and it is $2 per serving. First off, if you don't know, this is in the casino area, with half of the seating area open to the casino/smoking area and the other half inside where they cook. Either way, your clothes will smell like food or smoke. Food is pretty good, but post pandemic, the prices are ridiculous. Around $25 for fried rice. You can guess where the regular entrées are priced. If you are lucky, there will not be a line. It can take a while to be seated, waited on, served, and finished. For some reason, Harrahs and Valley View both have limited food options. It can take over an hour to be seated if you don't have reservations. And I don't think KJs takes reservations Hell's Kitchen does, but that's a different story). So, if you are trapped at Harrahs and are craving Chinese food, it's good but pricey. Overall, so many things have changed here. A sign of the times. Pricing has skyrocketed, supplies are limited and many restaurants are out of basic necessities such as to go cartons, napkins, etc. With many places short staffed, service suffers and a lot more patience is required. I'm used to the squid with the garlic and black bean sauce, but this was not on the menu. We did have the shrimp with garlic and black bean sauce. The onions were way to pungent and at times very overwhelming to consume. The addition of red bell peppers made the dish tasty. Not a huge fan of the added green bell peppers, but made do. Tried this spot out tonight for dinner. It is definitely more expensive than usual but my entree was really good. I ordered the walnut shrimp ($31.95) and it was crispy, light, flavorful, and plentiful (large enough for two). Nothing comes with this entree but I orderd a small cup of white rice separately for $3 and it is enough to feed 2 people. In addition, soda/pop is $1.99 with free refills. You can't beat this because one soda in the hotel/casino is $4.50. Service was quick and efficient, and the wait to be seated was fast as well. Would I come back if I was at Harrahs? I'm a regular at Harrah's SC and a Diamond Elite member. I've been to KJ 3-4 times. Although the food is good, the service is so bad. There are two long-time, elderly servers there (a male and female) and we were unfortunate to have them each time. Both are so, so rude, and need to be taught about being more attentive. We always have to ask for drink refills, and they always make us feel we are an inconvenience. The male server (a tall, lanky Asian) told us to "Read the menu!", while taking our order and my wife asked what kind of fried rice they offered (she wanted shrimp). Our first visit to to restaurant was a bad experience, but wanted to give it another try. It was the same! No matter how hungry we are or badly crave Asian cuisine, we'll never dine there again. I ordered the Westlake beef soup and the seafood pan fried noodles. They both tasted absolutely amazing. I did have to add a little red vinegar to the soup but that was just my preference. This is one of my favorite places for that soup. The pan fried seafood noodle was also pretty amazing. Very flavorful with that decent portion. Although the staff does not smile or speak much, they are quick to get anything you need The only downside is that the side of rice that's two dollars is basically the size of a small ball in a small bowl and the prices of all the entrées seem to be about 20% higher than that of other restaurants of the same caliber. This is honest review from a patron who isn't a cry baby. This is our first time at Harrahs, KJ's was recommended to my partner and I while we rode the elevator down to the casino floor by patrons who are regulars here. We ordered the Spicy Jellyfish as an appetizer but unfortunately it was unavailable. However, like ADULTS we did not throw a huge hissy fit because it happens! As we waited for our food the venue became busy VERY quick. We received our 3 dishes promptly. Orange chicken, pak choy and the steamed pork belly. I was hesitant when my partner ordered the orange chicken (not my favorite option) but it was perfect. Everything was delicious. We wanted to order more but were so full. Which is not a complaint at all! My only complaint isn't the staff or the restaurant but how rude Harrah's patrons are. Harrah's has the biggest and loudest cry babies and they truly ruin the vibe. Patrons see how busy it is and they loudly complain about it and make rude comments indirectly toward the staff. I experienced the same at Cafe. Decided on KJs for a friends birthday dinner while having a staycation at Harrah's, as the cafe seemed a little too casual and the pool only serves food from the Mexican place. We waited 45-to an hour to be seated on a Thursday. Multiple parties got sat before us, assumingly because they spend more money gambling etc. Which okay whatever I get that they put more emphasis on gambling. However while waiting to get sat multiple tables sat clean and ready to be sat. When we finally do get sat, 4+ other groups also were sat behind us. This is the go to for my parents when they visit Harrah's. The wait times vary, depending on the time of day. Obviously, peak eating times, the line can be a bit long. The other option is to order to-go, which is located to the right of the restaurant. It can be a real hit or miss for dine-in for how long you wait for your food. Last time we were here, it took almost an hour before we got our last entre at our table, and that was after a few times of asking how long it would take for the food. Today, the first entree came out after 10-minutes after ordering and the last came at about 20-minutes. We only ordered 3 entrees: honey walnut shrimp, crispy pork chop, and the house made rice noodles. The first 2 are our usual go-tos. As for the noodles, it tasted like it was cooked in a pan that wasn't cleaned before cooking it. It also wasn't evenly salted. There were occasional bites where it was way too salty. They're practicing social distancing with the small space they have. I do wonder how their table cleaning practices are. It doesn't seem to be consistent. At times I've seen them come out with a used towel to wipe down the table and that is it. Other times I've seen them wipe, spray with what I assume is a disinfectant, and then wipe down again, including the chairs/seats. I'd like to see more consistency in their cleaning procedures. We've also tried the Orange chicken, which is OK. Also the sweet and sour fish. We usually order this to-go, and when we get home toss it into the air fryer to crisp it back up again. KJ has solid Chinese/Cantonese style food. There are two lines one for dine in, and one for take out. We have not done dine-ins as the wait is quite long. Even for take outs, it takes 1.5 hour or two for order completion. The staff does seem a little unorganized. There was no signage where to pick up, and no one was attending to customers waiting for pick ups. I saw staff walking around back and forth and finally flagged down a waiter for assistance for our take out orders. Aside from that, we have not been disappointed by their food. Some of our favorites are: - Chicken Lo Mein - Mongolian Beef - Peking Style Pork Chop - Eggplant Hot Pot While the flavors are good, it is also quite heavy; I cannot finish the entire plate in one sitting. The high price point is off set by the large portion. I usually mix in some veggies with the left overs.
