I don't know whose dumb idea it was to refuse to go orders at Noodles but your business is about to plummet and we are all going to laugh at you. Making us sit down at a table and wait for a server for boxes to put our food in is unacceptable. Half of the casino is Asian and half of the food is to go. It took over an hour to go through this whole process and I left with all of my food cold because this place clearly doesn't understand who their audience is. No one cares about your stupid renovation. We want our food hot and to go, with bottles of water, chopsticks, napkins, and sriracha. Your place is so backwards now, bottles of water at a table assigned to a server that isn't going to get tipped, and leave a mess of dishes for your dishwasher to clean. Great employees and Great Fried Seafood Udon Noodle!!! My family and I shared the Xiao Long Bao, the Fried Seafood Udon Noodle, the BBQ Pork Noodle Soup, and the Combo Pala Fried Rice XO Sauce. The Xiao Long Bao comes with 5 of them, and they come with soy sauce and picked ginger. They look amazing, but most of the soup fell out because the dough stuck to the parchment paper. The meat inside the Xiao Long Bao is decent, and it pairs great with the pickled ginger and soy sauce. The Fried Seafood Udon Noodle was a favorite out of all the dishes we ordered. It doesn't taste greasy, and everything in the dish is paired well together. The texture of the noodles were perfect, and there's no complaints about the dish. The BBQ Pork Noodle Soup tasted a bit greasy, but the noodles seem to pair well with the BBQ Pork Wontons. The wontons didn't have a strong BBQ Pork flavor, but it did taste different enough from regular pork wontons where you could consider it BBQ Pork. The Combo Pala Fried Rice XO Sauce looked great, but it also tasted greasy. The components in the fried rice were great, but there was just this greasy taste all over. The service was amazing. All the employees were so kind, helpful, and all smiles. They're all very quick, and they're all great! There's plenty of seating inside of the restaurant, and there's seating outside the restaurant. The line for ordering at the restaurant can become long very quickly, but luckily the employees are fast with taking orders and placing orders. The restaurant is unfortunately in a "Smoking Allowed" zone of the casino so it can get a bit nauseating to eat outside the restaurant. I would come here again! The line was very long with 2 cashiers working. It took 10 minutes to get to cashier. This isn't a complaint, I'm telling you it took a while to get up to the cashier. Was at Pala Casino performing with a musical act and ate our dinner at Noodles. Although the regular location on the casino floor is closed for a remodel, the temporary location in Pala's former buffet was amazing. Large Chinese-themed banquet hall with open kitchen and wrap around video screens with animated Chinese imagery. Would love if this was the permanent location! Noodle dishes were excellently prepared and they had lots of dim sum options as well. Live seafood tanks with lobsters, shrimp, and others for those looking for fresh seafood. Food was very solid, particularly by casino standards and would definitely eat here again. There were lots and lots of staff - most badges showed they were from China - and they were super attentive. Was a great dining experience and more than I would have ever expected from a casino, especially outside of Las Vegas. Strongly recommend if you enjoy good Cantonese-style Chinese food. read more

This is a good go to place for dinner because of how quick they make your food, also the food comes out in large portions so keep that in mind, the place has some seating in the area but i would recommend the seating outside of their area because usually it's crowded. The food here is actually pretty decent if overpriced for what you get. They were extremely cheap with the amount of chicken in the sweet and sour chicken as well as the orange chicken. They should call it sweet and sour pineapple vegetables with a few stray chicken bites. The combination fried rice was a generous serving. They did give us a lot of bulgogi but unfortunately it was very dry. The serving size of the seafood crispy noodles was also lacking. Flavor wise, it seemed pretty much par for the course. It was interesting to see they brought some of the furniture out from the buffet to the food court now that the buffet is closed. It's a shame they shut it down because that was one of the highlights of going to Pala, especially lobster night. At least it's a lot more comfortable in the dining court area now. I was bothered by the attitude of the woman who brought our food out to us. After having to gather our own plates and utensils, I asked if we could get more napkins. She just pointed at the plates which had one napkin on a couple of plates (that WE had to round up). We had a party of 5 so I said we'd need more. One of the things that hurts this place has nothing to do with the restaurant. The seating area is right next to the smoking area of the casino. Really odd that they have a non-smoking area next to their gift shop, snack bar and nicer restaurant but not next to their three other eating establishment, Noodles, The Cafe and the Luis Reys sports bar. On nicer days, there is a patio close by so you can take your food outside if desired. But, back to the place. This is a stand-in-line to order, wait for them to bring you your food place. There is some seating inside the order / prep area but the majority of the people sit in the larger area next to the slot machines. There is a menu board on the pillars as you enter and additional menus up by the registers. This causes a bit of delay as new people wait to get to the register before they figure out what they want. If you have a medium appetite, you can easily share one entree. The Beef Bulgogi is very good and does come on top of bean sprouts with a side of white rice. Quantity changes on each visit but the prices and food quality here are much better than the Chinese place in Harrahs. When we are a little more hungry, we like to add one of the rice dishes. We will either get the combo fried rice or the pork fried rice. The soups are also very popular here and are all around $19. Again, a large bowl and very filling. They have free bottled water if you ask. From standing in line, to order to delivery of food can take a while so hopefully you are not in a hurry. I was in one of the hangry moods where I needed to eat. Being at Pala there's about three choices. Opted for middle of the road Asian food. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Went with an Orange chicken that came with rice. Not sure if the chicken had been fried a few times but it tasted like it.. then there were these burnt things I thought was chicken but it turned out to be burnt orange peel. My wife went with the pork ramen. She put her super power to work and made it disappear. She said it tasted good. Overall I'd eat it again, maybe asking for a fresh batch just because I know now. Even the "new" forks had a film that was remarkably similar that found in cheap dishwasher detergent. In other words, they're "recycling" their plastic ware. The paper napkins also had evidence of being re-used. Gross There's also a lack of chairs. Only two per table, so if you want to eat with three people you're going to be stealing someone else's chair. The amount of seating in general is woefully inadequate. As for the reason to come into the restaurant, the food? Overpriced and remarkably substandard. The chicken in my lo mein tasted like it had been sitting out for a week, and was so dry it would give Anakin Skywalker horrible flashbacks of his days on Tatooine. With a generic name like this expect average food. It's no secret I stay at casinos and love trying their food. Barona's and Sycuan's Asian restaurants are one of the best (I know you read those reviews). I was slightly disappointed here. First, it's small and so is the menu. And it really doesn't have an identity. I mean you get Japanese udon and Chinese pork buns and Korean Tom Yom but don't expect Vietnamese pho or Thai curry or Korean chicken or Philippine adobo. Second, I got the seafood udon. It was ok and better with hot sauce. There was a good amount of seafood and I did like the variety. But just tasted at best average. Overall three stars. Changes are inevitable, but not always for the best nor agreeable. From past visits and experiences, Noodles was a surprisingly good restaurant for Chinese dishes. The food court always felt a bit limited, but I can always count on having some comfort food items here. Today, the menu has been changed and updated. For the good, there are some welcome additions. Other Asian-inspired dishes have been incorporated. Unfortunately, I don't think the quality consistency is here anymore. Staple dishes like the Orange Chicken could have been more crispy and less sugary. The Fried Rice needed a bit more wok hay. The flavors were a bit muddled and not as distinctive as before. The introduction of Pad Thai should have been better thought out, for this staple dish usually determines the tradecraft of good Thai cooking. Dim Sum items and Wonton Shrimp Noodles continued to be very good. Along with the Bulgogi. The biggest disappointment here is the deletion of the Porridge/Jook from the menu. Definitely worth a try when visiting Pala Casino. I like their Dim Sum as well as their deep fried salt and peppered shrimp. The staff are super friendly and patient. Food is always made to order. Noodles is located inside the Pala Casino dining area. I believe this is one of the better place to eat when you're hungry in between gambling or just walking around doing your thing. It seems like a blend of Chinese and Thai food from what I see on the menu. I wanted to play it safe and get the Orange chicken over here because I saw everyone sitting have a plate of it in front of them. You go up to the counter, order and then pay as the food is brought out to you minutes later. There is a good amount of seating area as well. Had dinner at Noodles after a concert at Pala casino. Food seem fresh to order. I ordered the crispy Cantonese noodles with vegetables, which seem more like uncooked Ramen with vegetables so I was a little disappointed, but I did finish my plate and shared with my husband. The restaurant is very busy, limited seating inside the casino the service was quick, and the ambience is well you're inside of a casino and can see the entire casino floor so it feels more like a Casino Cafe, than a Restaurant. As a local, this was our family go to restaurant for take out. Be warned, unless you're a hotel guest you cannot do take out and even then only two entrees per . What does a family of two adults and two kids do? I have to agree, the food quality has gone down. The flavor, the chicken was over cooked, portion sizes... like other Yelpers I ate the rice.
