We each ordered a salad, a small specialty pizza and got a pitcher of beer, we love a long hang out dining experience. after my wife redeemed her "Birthday" reward, the bill was $94.00... are you kidding me? on what planet does 2 small pizzas 2 side house salads and a pitcher of beer cost that much? in disbelief my wife asked is that with or without the reward and the snarky (probably underpaid) girl at the counter was unapologetic and essentially border line snotty. Listen I get it.. and my wife is never ever rude, she is my complete opposite, because If I receive it? Ill give it back, but even she, who won't give it back at all was a bit mad. For those who prefer to finish at home, the take and bake option is outstanding. Even better, Constantino's carries their pre-wrapped take and bake pizzas ready to grab without any wait. The selection includes cheese, pepperoni, sausage, the beloved Waldo combo, and a chef's choice specialty pizza as well. And for ranch lovers -- they now carry bottled Waldo-branded ranch sauce, which is a wonderful addition. I say all of this as someone who had grown genuinely discouraged by the original Waldo location. The pizzas there became consistently overcooked, and the buffet -- once a highlight -- now serves cold pizza while staff behind the counter enjoy the hot pies fresh out of the oven. That experience was a repeated disappointment and is no longer worth the trip. Waldo Pizza Express in Overland Park has restored my faith entirely. They lacked flavor and we weren't wild about the texture. I have not dropped a star for this because we simply didn't order those this time and the pizza more than made up for our opinion of the bread. Besides, others might like them. I am so happy the shop returned and wish them success so we can keep ordering.
