    Lobster Pizza

Stopped in for Restaurant Week '26 and got the Lobster Pizza, It was sooooooo good. The pizza was cooked perfectly to where everything was cooked just right and nothing was over cooked. Flavors were outstanding with the hint of butter along with the lobster. We also ordered an appetizer of Wings which were meaty, the sauce had a really good flavor as well.

We came in for a late lunch today. We ordered the loaded French Fries for an appetizer, the Wedge Salad, Calzone and Philly Sandwich. It was taking awhile to get our food but then everything was brought out at the same time. So we were unable to enjoy our appetizer and salad because our dinner was there getting cold. I ended up eating my salad and bring home the sandwich. 1) Loaded Fries, the seasoning was salty but the bacon was delicious. 2) Wedge Salad, bacon crispy, the croutons were too hard to eat, A LOT (to much) blue cheese crumbles. Over all tasty. 3) Philly, delicious for the most once I heated it up at home until I found mushroom in it. I can't eat mushrooms and specifically asked if it had them in the sandwich when ordering, I was told no. There was only a couple pieces, that i found. 4) Calzone, yummy 5) The Service, again everything was brought out at the same time, this is a huge pet peeve of mine. My brother was given a drink refill, I not only wasn't given one but was never even asked if I wanted another drink (my glass was empty for awhile). We were done but our server was no where to be found.

*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW soooo yummy! I love their red sauce and the crust actually holds up. They are a business trained by the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, and they have a separate GF menu. They have separate utensils and other precautions in place - and I did not get sick!

Water. I forgot to take any pictures of the wedge salad and mini pizza.

We came in at lunchtime. Our server, Sean came over and brought us water and took our order. He was the only server and he did a great job of taking care of us. The restaurant was clean! Our order came out a short time after ordering. We ordered a wedge salad and mini pizzas. It came out as we had ordered it. Our server checked us on us several times to make sure everything was good at our table. He always had a smile on his face. We look forward to returning!

I placed a carryout order for Large gourmet Hawaiian pizza Large Philly Cheesesteak 1/2 with cream cheese and green pepper only Cheesy breadsticks 6 drinks Spent just under $70 for everything I picked up my pizza and went to a study group where it was my turn to bring dinner. I had talked up Minsky's pizza and how it's on the pricey side, but soo worth it! I have been going to the Minsky's location for year and this is the first HORRIBLE experience I have had. I really hope this was a big mistake and not that this location has had a change in management or something resulting in this being the new standard. I realize I should have checked my order before leaving, but I have never had any problems with this location and we were in a hurry. I feel like anyone who made these pizzas or even just saw them should've been able to tell they were not right. On both pizzas the dough on bottom was under cooked and did not rise and the crust was dry and tasted like a cardboard biscuit. Hawaiian pizza toppings were in large clumps instead of being spread over all over and the sauce was in large pool's instead of being lightly drizzled all over. 1/2 Cheesesteak/ 1/2 cream cheese cheese green pepper pizza they did not put enough cheese to even cover the green peppers so that 1/2 ended up having over baked and slightly burnt cheese. The breadsticks seemed to be haven been made correctly and probably could've been great, except they were carelessly thrown in the box with the cheese sides together and when we tried to take them apart the all the cheeses and half of dough of one stuck onto the other.

    Spicy Thai pizza

We love Minsky's pizza! Their hamburger pizza really tastes like a cheeseburger! This visit we ordered two of our favorites--the spicy thai pizza with chicken, roasted peanuts and peanut sauce plus the Philly cheesesteak pizza that has plenty of meat plus dabs of cream cheese. We usually order two larges and then have left-overs for a couple lunches. Both their original crust and thin crust are delish! Another great choice we've had is the prime cut pizza...very meaty with pepperoni, hamburger, American and italian sausage...but it is the crispy slices of bacon they top it with that make it another favorite. Minsky's is hasn't sold their soul like some of the other pizza restaurants that now skimp on ingredients to make more money.

Tonight we ordered Minsky's to be delivered. Our pizza showed up looking like they couldn't care less how they deliver their pizzas. The pizza was smashed to one side of the pizza box. When I called to report how our pizza was delivered the manger didn't seem concerned. I asked him if I could get a discount. He did not want to give me a discount or a refund. Customer service is not Minsky's priority.

Put in a a order for delivery to our hotel room after a long day of traveling. Person on phone said 45 min-60 min and we actually got it in like 20 min directly to our hotel room. So kudos on that. Pizza did have really good flavor. My oldest daughter summed it up nicely with saying it Similar to a Mr Gatti pizza but larger, with more dough and better tasting crust. I feel like that was pretty accurate so I'm plagiarizing it for my yelp review. We order a medium pepperoni and large cheese. After tip we wound up spending around $35-37. So a tad bit on the expensive side. But it was tasty and hit the spot. And we got fast service so we were more than satisfied.

There's something suspicious about the reviews for Buenos Aires Restaurant in Shawnee. They're…read moreeither glowing five-star praises or scathing one-star warnings. My experience leans toward the latter, though I'm giving it two stars solely because our server was kind and genuinely tried his best. I initially asked for a cocktail menu, having seen several drinks featured on their Facebook page. The waiter informed me they don't have a bar, had just gotten their liquor license, and could only make a drink if I provided a recipe. That was a red flag. He ended up calling the owner, who texted over a few recipes. At that point, we settled for sangria because I didn't feel comfortable letting someone wing a cocktail from memory. Then came the next blow: they were out of all steak items and all desserts. This was frustrating, especially after ordering a pitcher of sangria under the assumption we'd be enjoying a full meal. We ordered the "Taste of Argentina" to sample a variety. The first dish to arrive was an empanada and it was passable, but the filling was slightly cold, clearly reheated, likely in an air fryer. That was fine. Next came a plate with a basic ham and cheese sandwich, a small salad, and potato salad. The sandwich was generic, something you'd expect from a deli cooler, though the salad was fresh. The second plate was, frankly, inedible. Everything tasted like it had just come out of a microwave. The pizza was soggy, the chicken with cheese was flavorless, and another meat-and-cheese item had a strange, off-putting taste and again, cold in the center. The only remotely decent thing was a sausage sandwich, which was just okay. What baffles me is that it wasn't even busy. It was just one other table occupied, so there's really no excuse for this low level of quality. For a $40 sampler plate and a $40 pitcher of sangria, we received maybe $5 worth of food, both in taste and presentation. I won't be returning, and frankly, I'm confused by the flood of five-star reviews. Based on our experience, they do not reflect reality.

Pretty good eats, great specials, and a full bar makes for a solid dining option for solos, couples, or families. You'll find Murphy's Corner nestled into a strip center facing 87th. The owner apparently did catering prior to opening this space and you can certainly tell with the food. The menu has lots of options, from standard pub fare to housemade pizza to some rather artisanal salads. I'd suggest the chicken sandwich, hand-breaded and fantastic. Or even the Hinkle, roast beef & thinly cut pork tenderloin with a sweet pepper aioli, is a fabulous sandwich. But don't miss that happy hour from 2:00-6:00 on weekdays. The smashburger special runs $6 for a single, and even that is a fair-sized burger, and maybe share a side with someone special. The smashed patty(s) come with the usual accoutrements, including a 'special sauce' that makes the smash a smash. Secret of the pros: get two patties, because it's worth the extra $3 and it's sensational. If there is any knock, then it might be the speed of service. Having stopped in several times, I don't think I have ever had the kind of turnaround that I can get many other places. But the food often makes it worth the wait, so I can only knock it for one star. Pricing is fair and certainly on the level with the area, parking is shared with other spots along the strip, and the atmosphere is wonderful. There are a TON of TVs in all directions, and you can even sit on the patio in nicer weather. It's a neighborhood spot with great food, great atmosphere, and great specials. Get there.
