I really liked this Thai restaurant. I ordered a dish of chicken fried rice called Kow Pad Bai Kra Prow (F3 on the fried rice section of menu) and it was so good! No wonder someone here had said the fried rice at this place was the best ever for them. The fried rice I got was very flavorful. It contains basil which I love. The rice seemed to be Asian rice (more moist and sticky). I ordered the lunch option and the portion size is reasonable for its low price. They also served complimentary soup for the day which was hot & sour soup. It's thick and tasty. This restaurant is located across from Meijer which is convenient when I also wanted to get grocery shopping done. The service was ok. They have a relatively small space and can be crowded I imagine. Would come here again to try other options! They also have pho, pad thai, salads, etc. I wish they could also have bubble tea. read more

Came highly recommended, but was disappointed. Soggy overcooked noodles. So much liquid too. I needed a spoon to serve the noodles, as they broke apart as I tried to lift them with chop sticks and they were a drippy mess. And lots of sodium in both the entrees. I drank so much water the rest of the day from thirst. Then bloated for days. I ordered medium plus spice, didn't feel the heat. Portions seemed appropriate. Packages leaked in the car, even though the drive home was smooth, left a mess in the bag and the bag had a hole in it, so fun. read more

Disgusting. I was sick for a day. Horrible soggy, mushy disgusting noodles? Did they soak ramen noodles for a day? Ordered Pad Thai with chicken. Soggy noodles (I don't even know what they were?) zero flavor, no egg, no green onion, maybe two pieces of chicken? Horrific. Boyfriend who eats anything wouldn't eat it!!! Love this place for our Tai craving but as others have said and noticed the portion sizes have been so drastically cut i would say even the lunch portion is about half its previous portion size. The food is fantastic and the place is always clean and well staffed and professional but serving size is disappointing. Hopefully they will take notice before they vanish because i am sure it will hurt traffic. First time trying the Tai version of sweet and sour chicken. It was delicious as always even with about five small pieces of chicken. It was enough though until i got home so i could warm up some left over macaroni and cheese. read more

Did not get extra of any veggies and did not receive any zucchini. I ordered and paid for the large and they filled the container just barely over 1/2 filled. Place has gone downhill since it being Hot Pepper Thai. The dish is supposed to be a green curry with coconut milk, yet I tasted zero coconut milk. I ordered also Chicken Satay - meh. This thai take out and dine in restaurant used to be named "hot pepper thai". we were the first of the many customers that day to see the new signage. gone were the servers I usually see during lunch or dinner time. the food tasted the same because of the cook that is still there. I noticed that the cut size for the fried tofu shrink ;-) wish they put more vegetables in our order, even if it was for the green onions. service was ok. I see new faces. plate portions the same as before. i ordered drunken noodle using pad thai noodles. spice level is milder than so thai. so order the next level if you're a fan of spicy food. ordered spring roll twice because of the size looks shorter. the dipping sauce was sweet and hot. the sea food combination, with less bamboo shoots, turned out spicy despite of our order of mild spice. still we finished the whole plate. they have asmall restaurant dining. the money is in the take out orders. a must try thai place while in Waterford. location is across meijer and harley davidson. read more

I had to get a spoon and look for chicken and the listed ingredients. Typically we order two to three items and share between the TWO of us. Servings due to the minimalist ingredients can fall flat! We do enjoy their food. I guess I will have to cook my own chicken to add to these dishes to include a can of water chestnuts. Updated review: Still minimal chicken and veggies. This has not changed. First bad review I've ever done, but they brought me here. We spent $75 of food. 2 entrees, 2 ice teas and a app. The food we did get was such a small amount for the price. But then they completely forgot the fried rice, egg roll and my entree. When I called to let them know. They said it's in the bag. I said "nope, it's not". They said it is. I said, "I'm looking at it right now and it's definitely not". That went back and forth several times. They then put me on hold and hung up. This is the third time I've ordered from this place. Each time we have been disappointed OVERALL. The sauces taste great. The amount-of food you get for your money is disturbing to say the least.This order this time was Pad Prick. When i open the cardboard container holding the sauce i was surprised. It was a tad bit over half full.6 fingernail size bits of beef were a complete joke. The wife and i were splitting this keep in mind because we normally order from THAI LEGEND(do your self a favor and order there) Just a mile or so north on highland. Anyway they generally give you more than you can eat so we were hoping for at least a normal portion today from KK. Didnt happen. Now lets talk about the soup. (Tom Yum). 5 tiny pieces if shrimp and i mean tiny. It was 99% broth with very minimal veggies in it. Plain and boring. We also ordered vegetable rolls and for the sake of ending on a good note, the two we had were excellent.Please don't bother ordering from here you will be disappointed. Just had this door dashed to my casa. Took a chance as I've no prior experience with this place and really wanted Thai food. Took about 30 min to get and that's no prob. Dasher followed my instructions to a T which is appreciated. Food was packaged very well! No leaks, no sauce in the bag. Well done mates! I ordered Tom yum, side of noodles, chicken sate and pad gai. Of everything in this order, the soup was my least favorite. A lot of lemon flavor in it so put the lid back on and fridged it. Not my flavor. The chicken sate was made to perfection and came with cucumber salad; both very very good. Pad gai with shrimp was real good, got it hot. Wasn't overbearing; it was only a three tissue heat. Nice flavor, lunch portion was more than enough for dinner! If you have any hesitation on trying this spot, don't! I'm quite picky with my food and who makes it. We paid for. so now we are short one persons meal. I called KK Pepper Thai I was told by some unprofessional girl "oh yea sorry, we forgot it, you can come get it" I said I can't...that is why I paid for delivery she said "well sorry call them or have someone come and get it" I stated again, I can not come and get it and I won't pay again for a delivery and wait another hour for what would be old food!
