    "Medium" or "Malicious"?!
    Amanda S.

My pictures were removed? Here they are again. One is the dish as served, and the other is the bottom of the dish after I flipped it into the to-go box. In hindsight, nothing about this qualifies as a genuine attempt at medium--more like deliberately punitive.

WATCH OUT - PRICES ARE VERY DIFFERENT. I looked for reviews, and this definitely was our first choice. I pulled up the menu from their Facebook page, which was the only place I could find this information. I assume this restaurant controls its own page- and the menu is the background and one of the photos- This includes very clear prices. https://www.facebook.com/p/Thai-legend-100079527492102/ The other website on their FB page goes nowhere So we placed our order, I grabbed some cash with plenty for a tip and headed over. My order should be at most $24, and there was room for the tip. My bill was $42, and I asked why as I thought my order must have been mixed with someone else's- The meals were listed as $9 - I ordered pork Pad Thai and Vegetable Pineapple Fried rice dinner size- Now $14 - The Egg roll listed as $1 was $3. When I asked about the price difference, the gal in the back said," Oh, we should update the website to the new menu. " I would have given this a 5, but I don't appreciate double the price.

Massaman curry - mild, if you can believe it. Look at all the red pepper!!
    Eric S.

Pros: tasty, large portions, seems authentic, and not that expensive. Cons: The guy who takes the orders is very curt and possibly even on the rude/impatient side, for no apparent reason. Also, more importantly, the food is HOTTER THAN HADES. Seriously, we ordered mild curry pad Thai and mild massaman curry. What we got would be "medium+" or even "hot" at any other restaurant. Next time we will order "no spice" -- but it may be a very long while before we go back since the high spice level was simply more than a bit off-putting. See pictures of the massaman curry (attached to this review) and you might START to get an idea of how hot this food is.... and we ordered this as MILD. At no other restaurant in the world is this level of spice "mild."

The chicken had a very strange flavor to it in my pad Thai. Other than that flavor was pretty good.

Food was fresh and service prompt. Pad Thai and sweet and sour chicken. Located in a small strip mall a must try!

Pad thai is my favorite and it's not too oily like some other places! Great family owned spot. Prices are amazing for the portions!

Ordered a F1 , had no taste. I use to eat here all the time in 2020. Decided to stop by and was disappointed. I will not go here again.

AMAZINGLY AUTHENTIC yummy Thai!…read more First experience thete was wonderful. Each meal made felt like it was cooked with love. We ordered a LOT and loved it all. Pad Woon Sen - glassy noddle dish with chicken was my sons favorite dish but not mine as glass noodles were not always my first choice. EVERTHING here was so tasty and fresh. Pad See Ew - very tasty!! Thai Basil - with chicken was delicious! Thai Cashew Nut with Beef - excellent, kids loved the beef the most but asked for no cashews when I served them. Tom Yom Soup - very hearty and great flavor. Glad it wasn't too spicy. Spring Rolls - could have tasted better with more veggies but still one of the best Asian spring rolls around town. But the best was the dessert! Never had mango sticky rice or coconut cistard as good as I've had here. We went around 2 PM so there was only one other table there. Food came out in a reasonable time, but the dessert took an exceptionally a long time to make. Make a note to order that well ahead of time if you don't like to wait the extra 20 minutes for dessert. Wait staff was excellent as well!! Would totally come here again. Ps. My kids asked to go back the next day. They never ask that. We will definitely be back soon! I can't wait to try more dishes.

The tom kha was super comforting and perfect amount of coconut milk. I got the shrimp fried rice and it was very good. I got all my dishes "Thai spicy" for the spice level and I will say it was spicy for sure. I tried the hot and sour soup ( tom yum) and that was also splendid. I will have the leftovers at work for lunch for sure as I'm feeling pretty full. Definitely one of the good Thai food spots in metro Detroit I've tried.

Been once and so far the best Thai food we've found since moving to Clarkston. We've tried several…read more& they just are meh or even worse. This is a shame because when we both worked in Waterford years ago, there were THREE excellent Thai spots down on M-59, which is just a tad far for takeout where we are. Friendly service, clean as a whistle inside & the pad Thai was delicious. Be aware that the chef has a bit of a heavy hadn't, so mild+ might be closer to medium for some palates. Probably our new Thai takeout spot!

Unfortunately, this place was not for me. Always on the look out for a new spot, but this was more…read moreof a 1.5 for me. We always try to check our food before we leave the restaurant if we carry out since I do not want to drive back, especially if it is far. I could already tell from the look of the food that it would not be my favorite. I ordered three sushi rolls. I checked those first. One, which was larger and not pictured here, was all there. The second, for some reason a smaller roll, also only had one roll. We told the cashier and the chef we were missing a roll. The cashier said to look in the small container, which I had already inspected right in front of her. It was not there. Then she needed to see it, and told me to show her. Then she wanted to see the receipt even though she knew we ordered three, she took the order. Then she asked me which one was missing even though she could see which ones we had and read the receipt. The names of the sushi rolls were so similar, I gave the ingredients of the missing item. Finally, they acknowledged they did not give it to me and had to make it. After going home, I tried the sushi. It was really the worst sushi I have ever tasted and I do not mind gas station or grocery store sushi. The rice was so super sweet, it tasted like pure sugar. The salmon looked like tuna and did not taste great. The larger sushi was about $14 and was not worth the price and the other two rolls were not fresh or delicious. Very disappointing. We also had Pad Thai, curry rice, and Pad See-ew. They were not overly flavorful and the noodles of the Pad See-ew were stuck together, and there were many spots of the rice that did not get mixed into the sauce or seasoning. The leftovers were not too bad, but still, I will not be back. Looking at the other reviews, people do seem to like it here, so I always say try it for yourself, we might have different tastes and opinions.
