My wife and I have been eating here since before covid. The food has always been good. The wifey always gets tofu Pad Thai and is happy with it. I have had just about everything on the menu minus the soups. They've all been good, big portions. I'm not a fan of egg rolls, so I can't speak to that. Great value for the money. I pulled up the menu from their Facebook page, which was the only place I could find this information. When I asked about the price difference, the gal in the back said," Oh, we should update the website to the new menu. Freaking delicious but also not consistent. I will say that we ordered all of our food without any heat (aka spice) because I read the reviews.. and one dish still had heat (was definitely a 3 or 4 on a spicy level of 5)! Pad Thai is one of the best I've had. Thai curry was a new dish for me to try (the one that had the heat that should have had none cause it was the only dish for the kids....not happy about that) and was good. Also had massaman curry and the potatoes were both under and over cooked (how does that even happen??): too soft and falling apart on the out side while the inside was hard. Would I try this again? Pros: tasty, large portions, seems authentic, and not that expensive. Cons: The guy who takes the orders is very curt and possibly even on the rude/impatient side, for no apparent reason. Also, more importantly, the food is HOTTER THAN HADES. Seriously, we ordered mild curry pad Thai and mild massaman curry. What we got would be "medium+" or even "hot" at any other restaurant. Next time we will order "no spice" -- but it may be a very long while before we go back since the high spice level was simply more than a bit off-putting. I love spicy food and typically order "medium plus" at Thai places. Order taker noted that their medium is on the hot side. Never did I imagine that it would be inedible due to the heat level. How about you folks just abide by commonly know heat level terminology? Anyway, I could only eat about 1/6th of the generous portion as the super duper extra hot spice level forced me to stop. Which really sūcks because it tasted good. However, four serious sits on the toilet in the past 18 hours (the first with spicy burning rectum) is keeping me tethered to the house. I am surprised to see a bunch of bad reviews . I ordered a dish and was worried about the spice due to all the comments but it was totally fine . I got mild snd I feel it is . I was going to get mild + but was afraid due to all the reviews, but will definitely get it next time. I got the pad Thai curry with chicken snd got a tonnnn of chicken and big pieces too. Order carry out and the gentleman tells you to please hold and then in the same breath asks for you order, but don't let that fool you. I was recommended this place by a dear friend and oh my, she was NOT kidding about the spice levels! I consider myself a very well (local) traveled Thai foodie, but this place is by far the spiciest I have ever had, but also some of the best! I had mild Pad Kee Mao with chicken - omg it was so incredible. I am definitely hooked. The service was a little mediocre as it is a family business and the son who was the waiter had a little of that teenager vibe (if you know what I mean). At first he seemed a little annoyed I was there and wasn't very helpful but he tried. I ordered a soup and an entre and he didn't tell me that the meal came with another soup choice and a egg roll. The owner (I'm guessing the mother) did come out and make sure I understood that it was an extra charge. She was a joy and explained to everyone how spicy everything is in great detail to many other guests. Ordered soups and pad Thai for carryout on a Friday night. Love that they give a free spring roll with purchase of entree! Food was good, lots of it! 1 meal goes a long ways to feed 2 people. Soups were somewhat lacking, could be more flavorful. Take out was not ready at expected time. The menu prices listed on here are not accurate. Their menu has fewer choices than other local restaurants, but they also have a few Chinese dishes. Hardly see washing hands after closing a check, then serving food. The 2 seater dining table is also used as prep table. Not a good sight to see. Most tables are good for four diners. Thai Legend! I finally had the infamous Thai Legend my friends all talked about! And I must say, I was quite impressed! HEED THE SPICE WARNING! I honestly can say, I have a great spice tolerance and usually do a Thai medium plus at majority of places. My friends told me to get medium and if I wanted more spice, I could get more on the side. Nope, medium was honestly a lot for me to handle. I would 1000% do a mild next time. Please, if this is your first time trying Thai Legend, be conscious of the spice level. The food is amazing already and you wouldn't want the amazingness to be ruined by a too high of a spice level for yourself. I decided to try this restaurant yesterday. The Pad Cashew was heavy on the bamboo shoots. Sauce was very salty. It was okay,Meh. We also ordered Chinese Sweet and Sour, heavy on the breading. Giving them 5 stars because I have eaten a lot of Thai food and have been to a lot of restaurants and I put high ratings on Great Food first and foremost. This is some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten. The atmosphere and the surroundings are secondary. The service was friendly and prompt though very casual. I happen to like that. It was great to see the very delicious spring roll and really really delicious soup were included with the dinner. This is one of the best big food small price restaurants I've had the pleasure of enjoying in a long time. Spicyness levels are a universal average, ranging from mild being essentially no spice to extra hot being inedible to mortals. I lived in Asia, travelled through India extensively, and I order my curry 'hot' everywhere. I'm not sweating bullets, I just have a higher capsaicin tolerance because I eat it regularly. This restaurant is just making shit up as they go. The medium plus (they gave me a repeated warning regarding hot) was inedible. I've attached a photo to show the difference, in the exact same GREEN CURRY, between them. Obviously this is not a real incremental increase. This is someone who doesn't eat the food dumping one kind of pepper in, indescriminately. Avoid at all cost, as you cannot predict what you will get.
