The young man who checked us in, (Andrew?) was helpful and eager to accomodate ... his coworker ... not so much. She was rude, rude, rude. The next day my husband complained to their boss about her treatment of us and her coworker . The boss seemed genuinely interested in dealing with the problem. The sites are close together but not unreasonably so. The park was clean, quiet, and convenient for an overnight stay. Many kids were having fun in the pool, as it should be. I love the little KOA store and the fact that they sell gas at a great price. We didn't need to look for a station. But beware, there are BUGS, BUGS, BUGS! Did I mention ... THE BUGS! OMG, the second the camper door opened, sone of the largest mosquitos I've ever seen beat us into the camper, but the problem is mostly at night. read more

Terrible location - off a busy street & near railroad tracks. Extremelly buggy in mid-August - not ideal for tent camping. Staff is extremely friendly. Facilities (bathroom & showers) were clean. read more

Checked in over the internet very small KOA, was here two days, pulled through an empty site toward my own while on the phone with my wife. I get a strange woman screaming at me telling me not to drive through the empty space, this woman was the most hostile woman I've ever seen, and this includes my ex-wife, I tell her I'm on the phone and she attacks screaming louder that "No one talks like that to me! You're out of here we'll be giving you back you money!" So my wife hears this screaming and tells me to apologize, which I tried, but I got screamed at again, " no one talks to me that way!!! You get one! Had she not come up to my window looking like she wanted to kill me and explained that there was a string across that empty space I would have straight away apologized, but this was the most hostile attack I've experienced for such a small slight! Be afraid, very afraid...I'm sure that I'll get kicked out for this, but I don't feel that safe here with someone that volatile in charge here! read more

This place is super clean and bathroom/showers look like they were just remodeled with tile you would use in a nice hotel. Cabin was very clean and well maintained. The grounds were simple but well maintained. The people running it were very nice. You can't go wrong booking some time here. read more

The facilities are clean, but there is definitely a terrible insect problem at this KOA. I've stayed at 3 separate KOA's and this one falls to the bottom of my list. If you are RV camping, this location may suit you a little better. The site is a large gravel lot (for the RV's) with a small strip of grass on the other side of a small, mostly stagnant stream. The stream is the brooding ground for millions of insects. Walking around this campground meant you were walking through a cloud of bugs. Every time we opened the car, bugs would fly in. When we woke up in our tent in the morning, there were insects on every side of us, pressed against the screens. There is no privacy between camp sites. You are literally sitting on a lawn right next to your neighbors. Also, there is a walking path/bike trail just behind the camp sites, so random passerbys are parading behind your site from time to time. Additionally, you are right by the freeway so this feels very little like camping. Again, to be clear, the facilities are clean and well-maintained. If you are RV camping, this is a good spot if you stay inside your RV and away from the bugs. This is not a good site to camp in a tent. There is no reprieve from the swarm of insects at this campground. read more

We stayed for an overnighter in our RV. First, the sites up front are horrible. My sewer hose connected in the grass area in front of our neighbors, door. Likewise, the neighbor in front of our door had his hoses in front of our door. This is because the grass strips between sites are only about 4' wide. We wanted to leave, however, we didn't know where to go so we stuck it out and left ASAP in the morning. The playground area is next to the dump station. There is no stream like the ads imply. We'll never stay there again. There are a couple of places to the north of town that we would consider or just blow through town. On the up side, the staff was nice and the bathrooms were clean. Reading the other reviews today, it doesn't look like they've fixed much. read more

The campsite is decent. The employees were friendly and the shower/bathrooms were clean and newly renovated. It was very hot when we arrived and there was no shade at our campsite. Luckily we brought our own E Z Up. The campsite is small with no attractions. We've stayed at lots of KOAs that cater to family and activities. Also, there is no waterfall in Klamath Falls. That is some False advertising. There are many cooler places in Oregon to camp at. I would not recommend coming to this place for a long trip. Passing through is cool but the neighborhood is sketchy and there is a supposed homeless population to worry about. We are only here for the night so it will have to do. Finally, these freaking midges (mosquito like bugs) are so annoying. They supposedly don't bite but they swarm if there is any light. We tried using citronella candles but that didn't help much. We couldn't light a fire due to the strong winds and heat. That might have helped with the bug issue. I won't be back here again. I am changing to 1 star because the bugs are ruthless. They are all over our stuff, in my car, and they don't stop! read more

Not in a great area and the rates don't compensate for a lackluster campground. Had a problem with not receiving our KOA discount and when I tried to follow up later received attitude from staff and problems. Would not recommend staying there. Noisy and lots of bugs too. read more

Stayed in July 2012 for one night. Staff was nice and helpful but location was not to our likings. It was in the middle of town and the park, although clean, was older and needed a facelift. The bugs were terrible. Not able to spend much time out of the trailer because of the mass number of the bugs. read more

We stayed in one of the two Kamping Kabins. Around $46-and-something a night, cheaper than some nowadays. They have TVs in them nowadays. We stayed in cold weather and no bugs and not too noisy. There's gas pumps at the entryway to the KOA and they are as cheap as the other stations in town, cheaper than some.... read more

Wife and I stayed in the cabins. It was cute. Confortable. 1 full size bed and a bunk bed. TV and a ceiling fan. On a hot day, being inside is very hot. At night with the windows open was nice. Pool was a nice place to cool off. Other reviews stated it was in a dumpy part of town. Partially true. Mainly older homes but far from being dumpy. Right next to a road and hardly heard the cars. Yes it's near a major intersection, but again didn't hear anything. Want peace and quiet??? Stay in the woods away from all man kind. Showers were clean. Only complaint was lots of mosquitos. We stayed in a cute little cabin up front. The heater worked wonderfully and the beds were pretty comfy because we had extra padding we brought with us. The bathroom was right across from us and they were very clean and smelled nice. We mostly just used it for a sleep and clean area but it worked perfectly for the two nights we stayed. read more

As with most KOA, the staff are efficient and friendly, the facilities were reasonably well maintained and clean. The location is terrible however, beside a busy road and when we camped (late August) it was largely unbearable to stay outside with the number of bugs. Not exactly a get away from it all camp site, but adequate for an overnight stop. read more

Very clean and well groomed campground with lots of amenities. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were stranded with a broken truck and had to be towed in. Truck repair was going to take 5 days and they made arrangements for us and our traveling companions to stay even though it was a busy holiday weekend. Couldn't be more thankful! read more

I have seen some negative reviews about the KOA in Klamath Falls but our experience was very positive during our recent stay (Sept. 2019). The staff was friendly, the grounds were well maintained and neat. They even sold diesel and propane onsite for a very reasonable price. The other thing that impressed me was the quality of there cable TV and Wifi. The number of TV channels was good (25) and the quality was excellent. The Wifi system was one of the best if no the best I have experience at an RV park. The park is in town and not out in the country but that meant that going to a store or a restaurant was an easy drive. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone else looking for an RV park in Klamath Falls. read more

I thought this campground was fine for a 2 night stay. The area is fine and very convenient as it is close to restaurants and shops. The sites are very close which forces you to keep your camper shades down but overall, I thought it was clean and run well and a good location. There is more room between sites if you reserve full hookup. I may do that next time. The staff was very friendly, helpful and guided each camper to their campsite. The wifi worked well until more campers filled up the campground, then it crawled from the load but still worked after that. I think it is a good place to stop when I am passing thru the area. I did not use their pool, laundry or bathroom. read more

What a great experience! The kindest ladies helped my brother and I find the perfect spot to hang our hammocks. I forgot my towel so they offered me one to use during my stay. AND they have free coffee in the morning. It was pretty quiet at night so we had a restful sleep. Four thumbs and four big toes up! Yee haw!! read more

This is the worst KOA ever! You would be better off staying in your car on the side of the road. The RUDEST staff I have ever talked to. They will NOT work with you for check-in times AT ALL. Then they CHARGE you for a night you don't even stay. I will be sure to write a review on every site I possibly can. I will also be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. Very poor management. If even 1 person does not stay there because of this review, I will be satisfied. read more

Tent camped on a motorcycle trip.....what a joke!!! The entire place is basically a pit in the middle of town...it's not camping in the true sense. What genius allows RV check in at 2 AM on the honor system?? Trailer RV kept us awake for almost 2 hours while they maneuvered around the lot....almost backing over our tent. Stack on top of that a ridiculous insect problem.....like someone else said...if u r in an rv, which we were not...better off somewhere else...tent campers plan in advance to avoid this place.....we just ended up here....NOBODY should EVER plan on this place being a vacation or getaway of some kind...mistake......lots of city noises including heavy traffic and whistle blowing trains all night top it all off!! read more

Although the staff is friendly...and the grounds are clean, the sites are VERY close together. We have a 35' fifth wheel and we walk out our door onto the sewer drain for the site next to us. The pool was clean and maintained...as well as the restrooms, which are a plus, but the closeness of the sites doesn't make for a relaxing stay. read more

I wish i could give 0 stars. We came here from Medford for a little get away. It was a nice Saturday morning until your personnel decided to prune trees with a wood chipper, All day until after 5 pm! Absolutely rude and inconsiderate to all the people who came here for a quick weekend getaway. You should have planned that for the WEEKDAY when there might have been less people. read more
