We stayed here for one night, it was an easy stop off the highway. Small, but clean grounds and laundry room. Kelly at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The next morning when we got ready to leave, saw we had a flat tire on our truck. Before I even could ask, Kelly came over and told me that she spoke to the manager and no rush on checkout. We could check out late (no fees), to just take our time and get our tire all fixed. I was so grateful! Highly recommend this place!

    Quaint spot!

We needed a place to stay overnight in Klamath during our road trip back home. We are not campers but couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the deluxe cabin here as a alternative to a hotel stay. Check in was easy and staff both friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept. The cabin itself was cozy and most importantly clean. My kids enjoyed the bunk area although one opportunity would be to install a fan in the space as it was somewhat stuffy. Plus to having air conditioning in the main space. Lovely private patio area with a grill. The grounds are near a main road so there is quite a bit of road noise but wasn't a turn off for us.

I drove my motorhome from Southern California by staying in Walmart parking lots. Klamath Falls has one Walmart that does not allow overnight parking. I soon found the KOA campground and called before driving my motorhome to their location. The person who answered the phone was warm and receptive to my inquiries. It was only $42 for full hook-ups, piping hot showers (clean and heated), a laundry room, and mini-market. They have their own gas/diesel station with lower than average prices, along with propane. All of the employees were pleasant and knowledgeable. I had a wonderful restful stay.

Long pull thru sights. Beautiful creek runs through park. 50 amp service. Full hook ups. Store with all the essentials and some non essentials. Laundry room was one of the nicest one I've used at an RV park. 10 washers $2 for 30ish mins. 8 dryers $2 for 45 mins. You can add extra quarters for more time. Two more dryers are over sized. They are .25 for 5 mins. Very clean and decorated really cute. Quarters available in office/store. Restroom for guests is in the laundry building which currently closes at 6:30 pm. Second restrooms by office with showers. I never went in to see it. Nice employees. Propane and gasoline are available. Nice play ground. Two smallish dog runs. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. My only con was dogs running loose. I seen four different dogs running loose with o. One charged my dog. Owner was able to get dog under control. She had no leash. I reported the dog situation to office. Never had another problem. Wound stay here again.

This KOA is great. It's right in town but still feels serene. There are these bugs called midges that are harmless but look like mosquitos and are everywhere. The bathrooms were well maintained and constantly cleaned. There is some kind of air field nearby because it was non stop planes during the night which was annoying. I would stay again

You would think they would have have a nicer road for this campsites beside gravel.

We were a bit worried by the road there (lots of fair sized holes) and the weather (California was experiencing a bad heat wave, and it was 105 here), and considered only staying one of our two nights. So so glad we stayed both nights. The wild horses were hanging out the whole time, and much of it in front of our trailer. I'm sure the heat drove them down to the river and tasty lawn. We also saw the blue heron, bats, and two river otters! Baby bird above the men's bathroom. Lots to see and enjoy. This place is pristine and quiet. We'd just come from a gross Thousand Trails and a loud state park. Coming here with the clean (and air conditioned!!) bathrooms and showers was lovely. The hosts were so nice. And it just felt quiet and relaxing, only punctuated by territorial stallions making a fuss. Nice additions are the giant shaded area with picnics tables and Adirondack chairs to hang out in- our space didn't have a tree so the shaded option was much appreciated. This is a way away from us, but we hope to come back and spend more time here. Also- shoutout to the hosts who spend a lot of time cleaning up horse poop to keep the roads clean for us!

Our most recent state was 19 months in one of the spaces, next to the, woods. Lots of deer and other wildlife. Our issues from the beginning were one neighbor was 5 feet into our space. No visible water hook up so we,had to run our hose into next spot over. Sewer hook up not at the back of our rv. Management did not address any of these issues. After 19 months they decided to do something. Their solution for part of the issues, was to make us move our rv over a few feet. Anyone knows who has moved one knows it takes the same prep work to move 5 feet as it does 500 miles. We moved completely out. We got tired of the not getting things done, telling us our on l y concern would be to move our water hose. (Not sure, where to though.) The bathrooms and laundry room are not kept clean. It is very popular because it is inexpensive but the only thing they provide is water and sewer. You pay for your own garbage service. Also there is no more overnight stays.

She was ridiculous, telling me there were no window tanked available, when I had a reservation AND waited per her instructions. It ruined my husband's birthday. The host there was rude and condescending when we just wanted the table we reserved and waited for. Wish I had gotten her name, but we just left pissed off. You know what? To be fair, this was one of the busiest weekends I've ever seen there. As a business owner myself, I understand that on extremely busy days things don't always go as planned, and because of that I was willing to overlook quite a bit. We stayed in Chipmunk Condo Cabin #3. The cabin had a musty smell and a very small bathroom. The beach area was great for families, and my daughter absolutely loved it. The biggest issue was the food and customer service. Around 2 PM on our first day, we stopped to get pizza for lunch while waiting for our cabin and found out they were already sold out. Since there aren't many nearby dining options, I stopped by the lodge around 6:45 PM to specifically ask when they stopped seating guests. The two younger employees seemed annoyed and unsure but eventually told me the last seating would be at 7:45 PM. I explained that I was traveling with my wife, a 2-year-old, and a 3-month-old, and that driving an hour to Ashland or Klamath Falls for dinner wasn't ideal. We hurried back to the cabin, got ready, and returned around 7:35 PM, only to be immediately told they couldn't seat us because they were too busy and had a large party. My question was simple: Why wasn't I told that when I specifically came in earlier to ask? Had they explained the situation, I would have gladly come sooner. After asking to speak with a manager, who never actually came out, we were suddenly able to be seated. Once inside, there were several empty tables available, which made the whole situation even more confusing. Our server seemed annoyed from the moment we sat down. We decided to order our food to go instead of dining in, and even that seemed to bother him. When I politely provided feedback about the miscommunication, his response was essentially, "Well, we got you seated, didn't we?" That completely missed the point. The issue wasn't whether we eventually got a table. The issue was being given incorrect information and then nearly being turned away despite arriving before the stated seating cutoff. The next morning, we discovered mice had chewed through snacks we had left on the kitchen counter overnight. There are no cabinets available to store food. When I reported it, the manager apologized and explained that even the cabin she lives in on-site has mice because they're in the forest. While that explanation makes sense, it didn't make my wife feel any better with a 3-month-old baby sleeping in the cabin. The second day, pizza was available for lunch and was actually very good. The older gentleman working there was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, when we returned around 6 PM for dinner, pizza was sold out again. My wife then tried ordering dinner to go from the lodge and was given a completely different takeout menu that excluded many of the better dinner options, including items we had ordered to go the night before. When she asked if she could order from the regular dinner menu, she was told absolutely not. The inconsistency made no sense. At that point, we'd had enough. Between the restaurant issues, the mice, and the overall lack of customer service, we decided to cut our trip short and leave a day early. The lake and beach are beautiful and have the potential to make this a great family destination. Unfortunately, poor communication, inconsistent service, restaurant issues, and mice in the cabins overshadowed what could have been a wonderful stay. Mice may be part of being in the woods, but regular preventative pest control inside the cabins would go a long way toward making guests feel more comfortable.
