I brought my high-end sports car to Klaus Body Shop for repair and paint to address minor scrapes on the underside of the front bumper, as well as to install a bracket on the underside of the rear bumper that had been damaged in transport. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of professional standards from start to finish: Communication & Delays: After the promised completion date passed, I received no proactive updates and had to make multiple calls just to check the status of my vehicle. New Damage Upon Delivery: Upon arrival to pick up the car, I discovered that their shop lift had damaged both undersides of the front bumper--turning a one-sided repair into brand-new damage. This was done without their staff notifying me prior to my arrival. Failed Rear Bumper Repair: The rear bumper repair had not been completed properly. Instead, it was covered in black marks from an attempted fix. When I brought this to the owner's attention, her response was extremely defensive and unprofessional. Improvised Fixes Causing More Damage: They attempted to clean the black marks off the rear bumper using a chemical-soaked red rag, which visibly stained my white car red. Ongoing Quality Issues: We are now six months past the initial repair date, and the entire paint job is actively peeling off. Because of this defective paint adherence, the Paint Protection Film (PPF) applied over it has failed, resulting in a significant out-of-pocket financial loss to replace both the previous and new PPF. Given the poor craftsmanship, lack of transparency regarding shop-inflicted damage, and unprofessional management, I strongly advise anyone--especially owners of high-end vehicles--to take their business elsewhere. read more

If it were possible, I'd give this establishment an even higher rating. I had fender and door damage on my Toyota Tacoma and it was repaired in 1 1/2 days. I have never been so impressed with this team of professionals from the politeness of the office staff to the workmanship in the shop. I received 3 other estimates for this job and Klaus Body Shop was $100's of dollars and days less to complete the repairs, way below the other estimates. At last minute, when I dropped off the vehicle, I noticed a medium size hole in my front bumper and asked if they could also include that to the order. They repaired that also at no cost. This business doesn't know what customer service. Multiple times I had called and was told they would get right back with me only to not return the calls. My car was in the shop, I called to check status as I was told it would be ready on Friday (this is Monday) and, again, I'm told "Ill call you right back after I find out if it's ready". An hour and a half and no word, so I call back. "Oh, it's ready and heading into the car wash - will be ready in 30 minutes." I said, but you close in 2 minutes? Even though their info line on their phone system says they close at 5:30, not 5:00, which is what she's telling me. I said. I'll pick it up first thing tomorrow morning. I get here and they say, oh, the car needs to be washed. Yes, they did not wash it the night before like I was told. So. I have now waited 40 minutes for my car to be washed! read more

I recently had need of a repair for my new car. A pick up truck had scraped the bumper while I was parked. Klaus Body Shop was recommended by the driver's insurance company, State Farm Insurance. The owner, Michael Norman, did a great job in repairing the scrape and the matched the paint perfectly. I appreciated his no-nonsense approach and his follow through. Owner tried to charge me 650 to remove a dent out of rear bumper. I met convicts with more business ethics than that. Went to scratches n' dents and Bryan remove it for $ 20. Simple job just a heat gun and hands pushing plastic. Moral to story this guy (owner of klaus)tried to get me for 650 for something I paid $ 20 for. I'm a native new Yorker the dude thought he was gonna hustle a hustler. I've seen them all and he's up there. Don't trust this doughbag or you'll get robbed flat and simple. read more

First let me say I have been in and worked in shops for years and this had to be the cleanest. When people say you can eat off the floor, this is the kind of place they are talking about. Turn around time was extremely fast it wasn't even 24 hours and the car looks like new. Not only was the car washed but it looks like it even got a wax. Probably the best run body shop I've ever used. Incredibly clean and organized. The estimate I got for my bumper was about in the middle of 3 (not the highest not the lowest) but I'm suspicious of body shops that appear poorly managed and disorganized-looking. Mr. Norman was very straight forward and helped me understand the difference between cut-rate work and the way that they do things at Klaus Body Shop. After having a fender bender and not knowing where to go that was very dependable and did top quality work I asked my neighbor and he said Klaus body shop..I have a newer mustang and am very picky so I went there for an estimate and met the owner Michael and was amazed how clean everything was and how easy he made the process. I took my 2009 Dodge Ram in to have the Top painted as it was fading. I considered going to the dealer to have it painted but was told they do great work at Klaus, it was more money than the dealer but I went ahead and let them paint it. What a mistake that was. When I got the truck back the first time the paint was full of big runs in the paint, I could of done a better job than that, the owner tried to blame it on the painter and said he fired the painter, so I took the truck back to let them repaint it, got the truck back and you could see through the clearcoat where there was sanding dust and my plastic window vent was broken. Took it back for the third time and they replaced the window vent's but you could see gouges in the paint where the pried the old window vents off with a screwdriver or something and they said they couldn't get the fish eyes out of the paint because the carwash across the street uses silicone in the wash and it was blowing across the street onto the cars. I was told to take the truck home and bring it back in three weeks, I guess to let the silicone evaporate or something. I just picked it up after waiting three weeks the gouges are still in the paint they just tried to buff them out and the top still looks like crap. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I have to agree with another reviewer, super clean shop. When I went to Klaus, I expected to be told my mother in laws SUV needed a new bumper cover, and other expensive parts to get the vehicle looking new again . Klaus told us why spend money on a new bumper cover, when he and his guys would fix the damage and having it look just as good as new. I told him, go ahead. He promised the SUV back by Friday morning, now this was Wednesday late afternoon when we went in. He had a very nice lady employee give us a ride home. Friday the SUV was done, it looked awesome. I didn't expect it to be such high quailty work. I expected to see a little wave or a small imperfection or a fisheye in the paint, something I could see and write off as an ok body shop or a small job they didn't care about. That wasn't the case, my mother in laws rear bumper was perfect. The cost was a third of what I had planned on paying originally when we thought a body shop would quote us for a new bumper cover, paint, labor all the build in extras some place do to you. As you can tell from my review Im more than pleased with Klaus body shop. There are a couple of other positive comments I would like to share. Our first contact with Klaus, he gave my mother in law 69 yrs old his full attention. Another customer walked in while we were there. He told the man I'll help you after I finish with these folks. No interuptions, no let me see what he needs. Klaus treated us like we were an important customer, even though our damage quote was no we're near large enough to make, what a businessman would call a good day. Again I was very impressed with how we were treated. A very honest man, who trated us like gold, who delivered on his promise and fatastic work What more could you ask for. Claus body shop.
