Unfortunately, my last two appointments have been completely different. Within 4 days of my most recent appointment, one of my nails chipped and broke on the corner (photo attached). The sharp edge kept catching in my hair. I went back to the salon, and instead of fixing the issue or acknowledging that something was wrong, I was told this was "normal." They simply filed it down, handed me a nail file, and told me to file it myself if it happened again. It happened again two days later on another nail, and now, only 1 week and 6 days after my appointment, another nail has broken. Other nails are already lifting and the polish is separating as well. This is not normal for a properly done Russian manicure. I've been getting Russian manicures for over six years at different salons, and I have never had nails breaking, chipping, or lifting within days. When done correctly, they last 4-6 weeks without lifting or breaking. What makes this even more frustrating is that the salon itself advertises that their manicures maintain a clean, refined look for 3-4 weeks. My experience wasn't even close to that. For $140-$160 per manicure, this level of quality is unacceptable. Even more disappointing was being told that these problems were "normal" instead of taking responsibility or offering a proper solution. A premium service should come with premium workmanship and customer service. The photos speak for themselves. I hope this feedback helps the salon improve its consistency because my first experience proved they are capable of doing beautiful work. Unfortunately, the last two appointments have not reflected the quality they're advertising or charging for.

I've had two nail techs and both did a beautiful job. My first visit was with Tata and I did a French mani with hard gel. She did great! Second visit was with Victoria and I did the donut glazed nails with regular gel. She also was amazing! This nail salon's attention to detail is unmatched in Brickell. My nails are always looking so clean and pretty. Yes this salon is going to be more pricier than most, but they take a more healthy approach on your nails and these manicures last 3 weeks vs 2. They also spend almost 2 hours per visit just for manicure alone. My nails have never been stronger. Definitely my go to nail salon from here on out.

They've changed management once, but the staff has remained, and it was actually bought by one of their clients, so the great service has remained constant. I do my waxing with Yamilet who is awesome and very detailed. I've heard Mayte is great with nails too. I used to get my nails done with the old owner, but perfected the art of self-many/pedi and have chosen to save on that department. However, their prices are very reasonable. Mani/Pedi (french) is $35, full bikini $35. So definitely doesn't break the bank. At the salon you can get facials and other skin treatments, mani/pedi, and waxing. They use the European wax (green) that doesn't require strips, so it's awesome. Hurts much less than the yellow one. At least that has been my experience. I've never seen an unhappy customer there, and everyone always has a welcoming smile when someone walks in. Definitely call ahead for an appointment as they can get pretty busy, especially during lunch time.

The facial itself was great, but the environment she created pulled me out of that calm spa headspace I was hoping for. The experience itself: check-in is quick, just give your name and take a seat. Personally, I wish they leaned into a more spa-like feel with dim rooms, tea, or warm neck wraps rather than just waiting in the lobby. Providers don't typically ask about concerns, so if you want something specific addressed, make sure to speak up. After checkout, service providers stand nearby while you tip, which can feel a little awkward, especially if you weren't thrilled with your service. Bottom line: Bamboo isn't "luxury spa" vibes, but if you book with the right providers, it's worth it. Andy is hands down a must if you want a massage that feels life-changing.
