My partner and I visited KLM Crown twice during my recent trip, and had vastly different experiences. A note for women: there is one bathroom. During busy hours the wait can be up to 10 minutes. I recommend just leaving the lounge to use the bathroom. ~2pm: Waited for two hours to get in. The attendant at the front kept giving different times, citing the boarding of the KLM flight. This was incredibly frustrating and not even worth it, because there was no hot food and the space was mediocre. There was a quinoa salad, turkey&cheese sandwiches, cold bread rolls (with fancy butter though!), bananas, and chips. ~6am: Got in immediately and was pretty happy with the breakfast selection. There was warm toast, guacamole, sliced boiled eggs, pancakes, and an oatmeal bar. The lounge was pretty busy though, so I had to wait a while to use the bathroom. I actually slept in the lounge for an hour and it wasn't the worst. Overall, I'd recommend coming only during a time when they accept priority pass. If they say "come back later", just find another place to go to. It's not worth waiting around for. read more

Reasonably close to the inter-terminal air tram is KLM Lounge. The times on the Priority Pass app are not accurate - and actually varies by day based on KLM flights and delays, so you just have to stop by and see if they're accepting Priority Pass. I stopped by both KLM and Air France and the food was identical - same pasta salad, leafy salad, two sandwiches, plastic-wrapped chocolate chip cookie... The lounge prioritizes their own airline customers and offer better hot food options for their own. If you happen to get there when they're about to reopen for Priority Pass, wait in line - it get long quick! I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but if I happened to be at the airport early and had some time to kill, it was maybe $15-20 saved in free basic food and straightforward to get to especially with the post-security air tram. read more

WARNING: Priority Pass members are not allowed in from around 12-7:00PM every day. The lounge is reserved only for Air France, Emirates, and KLM flyers. You will have a MUCH different experience here if you are coming off hours versus coming as an Air France/KLM flyer. From looking at photos, I can see they put different wines out at least, and way different food options. During restricted hours, the hot food is the same as the Air France lounge but the wine is slightly different (wines are worse here). Look.. it's Priority Pass's fault for not communicating the policy. No need to be rude to the workers. The level of entitlement of some people is incredible. I came in with basically no wait at 2:45PM, being on a designated airline. Lots of priority pass people were getting turned away. There is a center circle with a hot food / charcuterie buffet and an open bar with several wine options and liquor options. I only saw American wines though, as they are serving Decoy cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Overall weaker than the Air France options. The food here is very reasonable and I love that they labeled their allergens. The salmon toast was decent (the toast was too soft, but the salmon avocado was great). The braised Beef with sliced potatoes was a bit well done and a tad dry but quite flavorful. The three cheese ravioli was very buttery, paired well with the mushroom. Better than standard airport food but quite rich - I couldn't eat the last ravioli because it was so buttery. The desserts were surprisingly nut allergy safe and I really enjoyed the cheesecake bite. Overall, the food made for a great late lunch. For a better wine selection I'd trek to the Air France lounge, but this has a bathroom and more outlets near food. read more

We used our priority pass to get into the lounge, but they've created so many restrictions for all these priority passes like the lounge is either always full or they're only accepting people going on certain flights during these hours, etc. We did get into the lounge after waiting for about 5-10 min which wasn't bad at all though. The service is really fast and efficient, but I'm just not a huggeeee fan of the food selection. It's always bagels/toast, avocado, eggs, tomato, and then some kind of oats or cereal, and then you have a variety of drinks. I usually go for the fruit like the bananas. The one time I had the bagel, it was pretty hard, so not a huge fan. Definitely have had better experiences, and I believe IAH has some of the worst lounges lol. read more

KLM Crown Lounge is located in Terminal D and easy to get to for those with Priority Pass access. The lounge is geared towards KLM members and entrance within a certain time period is at the discretion of the person at the desk, even if they have space availability. It's very off-putting BUT at least they are an alternative option for when the American Express Centurion lounge is at capacity, which happens way too often. The lounge is far from premium and offers little to nothing but seating and beverages. The food offering is usually sandwiches, cold pasta and some pastries, along with fruit. The few times I've been here, all I had was some tea and fruit. It isn't spacious either but again, at least they are an option. I do wish they were more polite to Priority Pass holders but can't win them all. read more

This lounge is alright if you have priority pass and come during a time where priority pass is actually accepted. However, I most definitely would never recommend anyone to pay out of pocket for this place. The amenities are not worth it, and somehow there's only one single stall in the women's restroom. I got kicked out at 11am on a weekday because that's when they deemed that priority pass visitors are no longer allowed. This was really strange to me because this lounge was more than 85% empty at the time. read more

On a recent trip passing though IAH I swung by the KLM Crown Lounge just to check it out. If you are traveling domestically it's a bit of a hike as it is in the international gate area. It was my first time there and the line was a bit long but it moved fast. Its decent sized lounge with some good food+drink options and a bar for alcoholic beverages. It was clean and well organized. The bartender was a really nice guy. They had this tasty broccoli salad that I just could not get enough of. Overall it is not as nice as the Virgin or Capital One lounges but still a good place to relax and recharge. read more

A little older lounge, but they had hot lasagna-like plate, great dill potato salad and Italian wedding soup, ok couscous salad and not great coleslaw, and some light potato chip snacks and water/coffee/alcoholic drinks for the guests. Located in D terminal at about D15/16, close to the Airtrain. Small seating in dining areas and slightly bigger couches in two rooms. I'd say this is better than the Air France lounge at the end of D. Service a little slower - took a while to get some fresh forks, plates, and the pasta dish, and that ran out quickly. Check-in speed was ok. The bar was staffed (so no self-serve). Little drinks and some fruit like apples and bananas. Overall bathroom was ok (basics). No showers or sleeping pods, so not nearly as good as the Polaris or United Club lounges, but it suffices. Not too busy. You can get in here with the Priority Pass. read more

After a long holiday travel fiasco, I was glad to be able to just relax and chill a bit in a lounge where things seemed less hectic. A visit to KLM Crown Lounge (around D16 of IAH) was perfect for that. The lounge is ok...to me..maybe 3.5 stars. It's a little smaller and has just tiny bits of everything (small--mostly just continental breakfast) food, small bar, small restroom/seating area). Staff hustled and worked hard to constantly clean and tidy all areas up. They have some different,.comfortable areas for seating. PP members have restricted access mostly to morning (check in staff told me I could only stay until 11am but PP app says til 1pm during their peak operating hours ‍). read more

Tried to enter today and was told they were "business class only" and that third-party access (DragonPass) wouldn't open until 3:45pm. Lounge was empty and app shows no restriction or limited-hours note. The lounge opens 11am-7pm, so blocking Dragonpass holders for more than half that window makes the access effectively useless. If access keeps being denied like this, the lounge listing is misleading and the whole benefit loses its value. read more

Located near Gate D16, the Priority Pass Lounge aka KLM Crown Lounge offer refreshments, food, and a nice quiet area to rest prior/post flight. After we checked in we were told our 3 hour cap starts then. It's clean, organized, and well lit. There's coffee, tea, an assortment of carbonated beverages and a bar that is capped at 5 drinks for your visit. I had some avocado toast, there was also boiled eggs, apples, granola, cereal, cookies, and oatmeal. It's a good place to go if you're waiting for your flight or are waiting for the appropriate time to go into another lounge. All in all for my first airport lounge, I don't have anything else to compare it to. It was a pleasant experience. read more

THE RUDEST FRONT DESK STAFF I'VE DEALT WITH IN A LOOOONG TIME! My wife and I walked in with a cheerful "Good afternoon". We were met with "Are you flying KLM?". NO hello, good afternoon, nothing! She was the same nasty person we dealt with on the 14th while flying through IAH. We asked to speak to the manager and she stated she was the manager. THIS WOMAN SHOULD BE FIRED! Her unprofessional attitude is a huge blemish on the organization. If anyone with the capacity to change this lounge is reading this, you should really do something to rectify this terrible person! She was working the front desk on 14MAR at approximately noon and also 20MAR at approximately noon. Should be easy to figure out exactly whom this cancer is that is working for you! I just went back to get her name and when I entered I was greeted by a different person. This young woman was very nice...this time! I inquired about the other woman telling me that she was the manager. The other woman confirmed that she was NOT the manager and the actual manager was on-site...AND WE WERE BASICALLY DENIED ACCESS TO THEM AND LIED TO BY THE NASTY WOMAN IN QUESTION! I might have a different view on customer service but as a leader and manager myself...lying SHOULD NOT be tolerated in the workplace! read more

I really like this lounge and have had pleasant experiences with the staff....when I have been able to get in. Unfortunately, I have been turned away on several occasions due to entry time restrictions or extremely long lines with Priority Pass. I realize that an increasing number of people have lounge access nowadays but still find it very frustrating not to be able to use your lounge access. My recommendation for Priority Pass travelers - read the fine print on the lounge listing for restricted hours and allow yourself a lot of extra time for your visit. Also, be prepared to be turned away. If you make it inside, they have a nice bar set up including wines, liquors and champagne, a small prepared food section, toaster, and usually a grab and go snack like chips or fruit. The inside is fairly modern and the staff do a good job keeping everything clean. Hopefully they will consider making it larger so everyone has a chance to visit and enjoy. read more

I was only able to spend a few minutes here since TSA was horribly organized at IAH (a rant for another time), but we were checked in quickly and found an open table without trouble. Inside appeared clean and everything was easy to find. The food and drinks area was on the smaller side and options were more limited, especially for breakfast. Options included hard boiled eggs, guac, tomato slices (?? so random), oatmeal, some cereals, some prepackaged muffins, and pancakes. The drink selection had some juices and the usual sodas. Get off the skyway D/E then make a right towards terminal D. Then make another right and you'll see it right past the women's bathroom. When there's a KLM flight, they might have the Priority Pass members return at a later time. They close at 9pm so they start kicking you out at 8:55pm. They close the back seating area approx an hour prior to closing (at least when we were there). The food was pretty good (rice and meatballs) compared to being a small lounge. They had small bags of chips, single packaged cookies, fruits and a small bar area with a server. There was also a coffee machine that dispensed a variety of hot chocolate and coffee drinks. They also had quite a large area for seating with the food area centered at the entrance. There is a bathroom but only for one person per male and female so you might want to walk out the lounge to use the bathroom since it is bigger. I was at KLM Crown Lounge IAH at 5pm on June 3, 2026. The woman at the desk was rude and impolite to me. There was a line waiting outside the door. The 2 women in front of me went inside, talked to the front desk woman and came back to the line. Very soon, the front desk woman let 3 people in including the 2 ahead of me. When I went up to the frontdesk, she asked me if I was by myself. I said yes. She said they were full now. I had to step outside and wait. When she was happy to let me in, she pointed to a chair at the entrance and told me to sit there. Foodwise, it is sandwich and some lettuce salad. She even deleted my visit record on my priority pass app. This is the only place I can write a review of KLM Crown Lounge at IAH. Poor front desk staff attitude. read more

This place has some shady practices! They will make up some story saying that they are only open from 3:30pm-4pm due to having staff drive home early because of the weather. Well currently it is not raining but it was sprinkling earlier. We checked in and demanded to see the manager "Terri" to be told of the same bs story. I asked if it was just priority passes that need to leave at 4pm. He said no, everyone is going to leave at 4pm. 4:33pm gone by and they were turning away upcoming priority members while checking in others. Right then I figured what they were doing. Reimbursements for Priority passes are the lowest and keeping them in for 30 mins while bringing in others will bring them more money. Next time cut the bs and just say it how it is. Reported this incident to KLM & Priority Pass and hope everyone does the same if they get turned away. I hope they change their tactic though. read more

This is not dissimilar from the Air France lounge, but it's a shorter walk from the end of the D gates, and there is a little bit more seating. The hostess told me it would get very busy and I could only stay for a half hour. She seemed annoyed that I was a lowly Priority Pass holder. After an hour (oops), THIS (see photo) was how busy it was. Read: I was the only person in an entire section. Food was pretty sparse, but I found some decent protein sources, which I did enjoy. Still no Diet Coke available. Slow dripping coffee machine. And a small bathroom with just one stall (which was fine for how "busy" it was, but I imagine if it gets LEGIT busy, this might be a problem.) Chair was comfy and it was quiet so I was able to get some work done and watch Hoda's last day on the Today Show. I was kind of glad I was alone, because I did shed a few tears. She is a legend. Following a 3.5 hour flight from Panama and what would be a seven hour layover in Houston, my wife and I were looking for a comfortable environment to have a couple of drinks and relax. Thankfully my wife has an American Express (AMEX) card that we often utilize to enjoy the perks of select airport lounges. After verifying that KLM Crown Lounge was on the list of approved lounges, we made the short trek from our arrival gate to the lounge. Upon arrival at approximately 2:30 pm on Tuesday, 1/23/24- we encountered the employee at the entrance. We both warmly greeted the young woman and she briefly stared at us as if confused as to why we were speaking to her. My wife proceeded to pull out her beautiful metal AMEX platinum card, but was told the lounge only accepted priority pass (which she also had). The employee rudely stated that we must return at 3:15pm to access the lounge. To pass time, my wife and I went to Pala (please reference my review if interested) for lunch. At 3:40 pm my wife and I returned to KLM Crown Lounge. As we approached the same employee at the entrance, we greeted her and she responded by curtly saying "I know that I said return after 3:15pm, but I am only accepting business class at this time." At this point granting us access was no longer our concern. The bigger issue was her disgusting, mean girl-like attitude towards my wife. Regardless of the employee's rude behavior, my lovely wife maintained a calm and respectful disposition. Instead of asking for a manager and complaining (previous Yelp reviews have spoken to the rudeness of front counter staff), I decided to leave this review as a heads up for anyone considering visiting this lounge. Also, this Yelp reviews serves as a reference point for any potential guest(s) that receives similar treatment, just know that YOU are not the problem. Whomever is in charge of this lounge needs to instruct their front desk staff to do better, this mockery of customer service is unacceptable. read more

The check in process was simple, and contrary to some of the other reviews we were not told about any drink limits (although we're pretty light drinkers) The facility is clean and they have some basic alcoholic beverages and sodas. It's also clean, including the restrooms. Some simple food selections, basically a good spot for a respite right before our flight. Good experience overall! read more

This was my first time at this lounge, it was very clean. The staff was nice and they don't play about keeping this place clean. They offer continental breakfast with snacks. The Alcholol is Not self serve you will need to wait on an attendant for service.
