Kris came to diagnose and clean out a main line drain clog the day after I called. He found the exact problem locations in the line, advised me of a plan for after the clog was removed, completed the work timely, price was reasonable, and he's professional. If you don't want those things, there's always a neighbor or "good friend who watches plumbing YouTube videos" out there to "fix" your problem. The KNC PLUMBING -- Chris came to my house and repaired a shut off valve. When he repaired the shut off valve, he was definitely adamant that it shut off the leak. he made an appointment to come out two days later. I suggested to wait a couple more days so it could all dry out. He agreed. I have the date he was supposed to come back out on my phone so he agreed to it, stated, that would be a great idea. I noticed there were still a lot of water so I dug it up myself. It did not stop the leak and when I found out, it did not shut off the leak and I told him it's still leaking. And he agreed he made a mistake. He was going to come out the following day. . . . I thought he had some integrity.. instead of coming out and correcting what he made the mistake, he sends me a text message of this long, ridiculous response, saying the next time we have interaction will be through an attorney. What kind of person does this ????It will be through an attorney and I was completely shocked. He did not Come back and do a job that he was supposed to do. He did not correct the problem when he first came out, gave me false information and then had integrity to admit his fault when I was speaking to him, then turned around and sent that response to me..This gentleman is not honest he has no integrity And trust me if you call him on something in a nice way, he'll send you a whole statement, saying Next response will be through an attorney. WHO DOES THAT?? I would never in 1 million years recommend this company, matter of fact, I wouldn't trust him if he gave me the job for free. I have had my share of issues with plumbers. This is very well known. I wasn't sure who to call but I called KNC plumbing because I remembered a few years back I had an issue and I called several plumbers. It was a weekend and no one was answering or if they did they just said, "Sorry, I can't help." However, when I called Kristopher he too said he couldn't come that weekend but he would help me to turn off the water until I could find someone. I was so overwhelmed and appreciated his help. When I remembered that I used Yelp and sent him a message. He came later that day and went through the house and turned on the water and wanted to make sure where my stoppage was coming from. He decided which line it was and than ran the snake through. He said he would be back and he would hydro flush (?) I am not sure what it was called to make sure my pipes were in running condition. Kris will forever be our hero!! We had backed up kitchen sink, and then shortly thereafter toilet too. During Hurriquake2023. Ughhhhhh Two different companies from Yelp recommendations came over and both went to diagnosis of main line blockage. Never attempted any other fixes, then to complicate things we could not find front yard clean out due to landscaper covering it. So both left. Leaving us with no toilet. Since Saturday! One of them quoted 6k for a quick short term fix to 15k for new everything. We do have old galvanized, but "is" that our issue right now? A friend referred us to Kris and he fit us in same evening. Honest, licensed and straight to the point. GO HERE! My tankless water heater was giving an error code and the hot water would go cold. I requested several quotes via Yelp and KNC Plumbing responded quickly and with the most reasonable price for the service I was looking for. Kris came out and was very nice and professional. He looked at it for about an hour, and even had to get on the phone with the tankless water heater company. He explained things to me as best possible. The problem ended up not being the water heater but instead the wrong size gas meter. So Kris advised me to call the gas company to install the proper gas meter for my tankless water heater (this should have been done when it was installed, but not the fault of KNC). So I called on a Saturday (today) around 10:30am, problem was my kitchen sink that was draining slowly and filling up upon using the dishwasher, and during normal usage as well. Hoping to dislodge whatever might've been in there, I tried letting the sink fill enough to plunge it but all it did was bring up a bunch of sludge. The more I tried, the more sludge I got, but the slower the drain too. I mean it would take a good 20 minutes to drain with only 1" of standing, sludgy water. It occurred to me that although I was apparently loosening something up, after trying that for a couple hours and only bringing more sludge up into the exceedingly slowly draining water, there was no way I was going to deal with the stress and anxiety it was causing me any more. It was obvious it needed some professional assistance. When I searched yelp for plumbers, they had a little questionnaire I could fill out to be submitted to local plumbers for them to contact me. I was provided four options, all with high ratings, but I went with KNC because I was impressed with not only the fact that they could be out in only a few hours but also the very reasonable price. In fact, the price quoted was so reasonable that I was worried that there was a service fee that wasn't reflected in the quote, but I was assured that the price quoted was the total cost. Also, their initial and subsequent response was instantaneous, and all communication was clear and friendly. They sent a text with the technician's picture and detailing his qualifications, as well as a time frame we agreed upon. Soon after he asked if that time was ok or whether he could come even earlier (1 instead of after 2). Heck yeah!! The sooner the better. Kitchen drain issues are annoying, not to mention obviously stress inducing. When Kris arrived at 1 he was polite and immediately donned both booties and a mask (I, too, wore my mask of course).
