John was incredibly thorough throughout the entire process--from inspecting the area and providing a clear estimate to carefully procuring high-quality brass and copper materials from a trusted supplier and completing the installation. His prices are very competitive, but what matters most to me is that he is honest, transparent, extremely skilled, and never cuts corners. That's where I called Chris the Plumber who gave a fair quote to replace the irrigation valve and he sent his associate to replace it. We got a new irrigation valve but it turns out my gardener's diagnosis about the irrigation value didn't resolve it after all. We notified Chris and he came himself to troubleshoot the issue and it turned out to be a broken sprinkler head letting out too much water. Because the job was under warranty, I finally called them back and said that I really needed them to fix the problem. Robert came out and quoted me an additional $22k to fix something in my slab. He used a sharpie to draw an X on my floor so he could remember the exact spot. Then he told me I needed to sign the contract right way. Obviously I didn't! He then lowered the price to $18.5k, but by then I had decided not to use prodigy, even though the work was under warranty. I called in called another company (actually 2) and not only did they inform me that Robert was dead wrong, but both plumbers ran cameras and showed me that the line had never been properly epoxied in the first place. Owner Mark refuses to return my call. I hope this review prompts him to reach out. My next step is the licensing board, then attorney. This would be so much easier if Mark would just call me!
