My rate for a 30-min massage is $40. A 1-hour massage is $80. I have several membership and package options that offer a lower per session rate. Please check out my website (www.relaxraleigh.com) or give me a call (919-448-7580) for more… Read more

I didn't realize how much pain I held in my body until I felt it all release. I can't say enough how much he did a great job making me feel comfortable while pregnant. Now the fun part was this was a couples massage for my husband. His therapist was Chutima and he said he felt really good afterwards. Focused on parts of his back that were bothering him and I can tell you his grumpy butt left that place a nice calm man. It was a great birthday present for him. Have to mention they were super safe with covid precautions and I felt comfortable throughout. We definitely decided we would be back.

Yolanda's vast knowledge of physiology allows her to pinpoint areas that need attention which may seem unrelated to but results in pain elsewhere. She is the best massage therapist I have ever had and every time I leave an appointment I wonder why I waited so long to come back. If you are looking for the traditional day spa experience and pay those crazy day spa prices you'll need to look elsewhere but it you want a massage therapist that really practices healing the body through massage therapy then Yolanda at Embody Wellness is the lady to see.

So, my experience is somewhat interesting. I purchased a Groupon and called to schedule an…read moreappointment. I had to leave a message and it was returned a few days later. Unfortunately, I didn't get the call and the message instructed me to go online and schedule as they didn't have a staff person who made appointments. I went online and realized I had to create a profile and I didn't want to do that for a Groupon because I may not like the service and I didn't want an account until I knew the experience. So, I called back, left a message and a few dates that would work for me. This is where it went downhill. Turns out, she called me back and left a message on August 1. Unfortunately, I didn't get that message because in the message, she stated that one of the dates I had stated was available and to call back if I was going to take it. But, I didn't get the message. On Tuesday morning, she called me asking if I was going to come and it took me off guard because I did have a massage appointment with another place so I was thinking this that place. I immediately checked my calendar and didn't see an appointment but, I was free for 3:30 and I needed an appointment so I said yes. I will be there. We discussed in the call that I had not gotten a confirmation (but it didn't make sense at the time) and she then sent it to me via email. My mistake is that I didn't open it until I was headed there because the conversation was she was sending me her "new" address, not other details. Turns out, in that email, she also asked me to arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork. She never mentioned this on the phone. I left in enough time to get to the appointment but ran into two sections of construction traffic and then, I was driving my husband's truck with a trailer (that I do not know how to back up) and silly me, I pulled into the parking lot and just couldn't get it right. I was 8 minutes late walking into the office and that's when the situation/experience turned sour. I immediately walked in and apologized for being late letting her know of the construction traffic. She then asked for me to complete the forms which I was attempting while she stood and hovered over me - she then ask which massage I had and I replied that I could not do both - complete the forms and share which massage I had because I needed my hands to look at the Groupon. And, looking back, if I had actually made an appointment, that information would have been taken (at least I hope). By this time, we are both frustrated so I ask if it was best to reschedule. She told me that, she felt insulted because I stated that in the rush to complete the papers and trying to get my massage, she really didn't have enough time to review it to serve me. I also recommended that when an appointment is scheduled to email the form so the client can bring it in completed (BUT, I never had a confirmed appointment - remember, I got the confirmation that day). She sat down beside me and tried to make it out as if I was having a bad day but I wasn't. And, I tried to step away but she basically told me that she didn't want to service me. It was okay by me because at that point, I certainly did not want a massage from her. I thought she was rude and to be honest, thought she had a race complex but she stated she did not. So, I have to take her word for it. At any rate, she is not someone I would recommend - how do you call someone the day of when you never actually had a confirmed appointment making it sound as if, there was one and calling to see if it would be kept.

To begin with, do not waste your time and money going to this unprofessional crapshow. The customer…read moreservice is atrocious and quite frankly MEAN. I scheduled an appointment for my wonderful postpartum wife to get relief. My wife called earlier for them to delay the massage an hour or two. They rudely said they could not do that and my wife answered "okay thank you." She never once told them to cancel the appointment. My wife unknowingly showed up at 1:00 with the woman worker rudely saying she cancelled her appointment. They cancelled my wife's massage appointment without her consent or telling her. They then offered her a facial to try and make up for it... It was SoSo at best. They never apologized for how rude they were in person and over the phone and proceeded to try and Upsell her for a membership. AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost.

Horrible customer service, unclear policy's. AND if your pregnant do yourself a favor and go…read moresomewhere else. My husband gifted me a gift card to receive service here for V-day. I did find out I was pregnant the day before my scheduled massage. Upon arriving I was told it was no big deal because the therapist was pre-natal certified. I got back into the waiting area when the assistant manager came in to inform me in an indirect and frustrating manner that I was unable to receive a massage because the therapist was not certified. Fine, companies have procedures to keep expectant mother safe. I can get behind that. What irritated me was I had them call me with an appointment time because they were unable to get their life together enough to provide me with an appointment time after waiting close to 20 minutes. After the scheduling phone call, I received a second voice mail explaining that they required a doctor's note to receive a prenatal massage prior to 6 weeks. Any Mom knows it is extremely rare to find an OBGYN who will see you prior to 8-10 weeks so this request was laughable. Fine, I rescheduled my appointment a second time to abide by their policy of NOT needing a doctors note after 6 weeks. Two days before my appointment I called just to check I was not going to have any further issues and low and behold the rep I spoke to said I would still be required to provide a doctors note even after complying with their first request. So during the conversation I requested a refund of the gift card and explained I would be in the next day to receive said refund. I was told on the phone this was possible and nothing more. After driving 45 minutes to this location, the same assistant manager informed me refunds have to be approved by the owner and only the owner AND they have 48 hours to respond to the request. So, after having a rational conversation with the assistant manager she finally agreed to call the owner, who said they would not provide my refund after their location refused services when I abided by their policy's. This place is awful. Take your business elsewhere. La Vida Massage in Wakefield is a close alternative and I have never had a bad experience.
