Excellent food and excellent service and so many temptations.

I've never been disappointed by Kneaders! Always a great meal, well prepared as well as good service. Prices aren't bad either.

I love this place. Their breakfast menu is so good and reasonably priced. We always get the egg and ham croissant and the Mexican spice hot chocolate. Also their pastries and bread are amazing! Their French toast is delicious and a big portion it can feed 2. Their lunch sandwiches are ok I've only had them 3 times but I love their breakfast menu more. read more

Surprising good, I didn't have super high expectations... But was presently surprised. The salad was amazing and the soup was delicious! The sweets were yummy and could tell they were freshly made. I'm not sure what's happening at this location, but I certainly won't be returning. Not only was it incredibly painful to order, the wait at the window was longer than ever. Then we didn't get everything we ordered and paid for. The crust on my fruit tart was burned. It also had some strange strawberry spread on the bottom. Onions were left on my sandwich after requesting no onions twice. One of the sandwiches we've ordered for years, all of a sudden had ranch dressing on it instead of the delicious tangy mustard sauce it has always had before. I get that no one's perfect but mistake after mistake after mistake has made me decide to take a hard pass for spending my hard earned money at the Layton Kneaders. read more

Buyer Beware: If you're looking to order baked goods from the Layton UT Kneaders, watch out for getting double-charged. I bought a cheesecake and they double-charged me for it. I gave some gal at Kneaders my card over the phone when I ordered, and was surprised when they asked me to pay for it when I picked up the cheesecake. When I told them I was under the impression I had already paid over the phone and was worried they were going to double-charge me, they said they wouldn't, so I let them go ahead and run my card. Sure enough, my wife saw on our bank account today that they'd double-charged us. I called them and spoke to a manager (who wasn't apologetic at all) who said that in order to get a refund, we'd need to print off our bank statement with the double-charge and bring it in to the store. Kind of a hassle, and definitely something we never should have had to do in the first place. The cheesecake itself was phenomenal, so my low rating is for the experience of being double-charged (even though I was told by multiple employees I wouldn't be), not the quality of the food. read more

The food is okay. Not exciting, but never bad. My complaint is the lack of planning. Too many times i've gone and they've been out of soup, specialty sandwiches, drinks and even salads. Zupa's doesn't seem to have this problem and they are just as busy. Sounds like poor planning. read more

I have never been so disappointed in the service at any kneaders. I have been sick and have ordered soup two nights in a row and they have messed up my order both times and were very rude to my husband when he went to pick up my order. The food is very overpriced for me to not get what I ordered and for my soup to be cold. Won't be going back! read more

This kneaders is such a hit or miss. I used to manage a kneaders while I was in school so I have a general idea of how things run even if it's been a few years. For some reason at this location it's super difficult to order a black coffee. Today I got a sandwich and soup so I could get a drink. I just wanted a black coffee. Nothing special. The girl who took my order said I couldn't have a coffee in the combo. Really strange since it's the same price as soda and also refillable and.... I've done it for probably 7 years super strange. I've had this same girl tell me before she wasn't able to make an iced black coffee. It just sucks because I only got soup so I could get the drink. The drink they gave me was tap water not even a water bottle. They also usually mix orders up. It's way rare for me to get what I ordered. Yesterday I got a broccoli soup instead of the lobster bisque which I ordered. I love kneaders and the food is great quality, I just really think this particular location is kinda bad. If you like coffee and not soda go some where else the easiest drink is too hard for them. read more

Kneaders bakery is fresh, healthy, relatively fast (for the food quality especially), affordable and delicious! It's a great place for my kids to get healthy food when we are on the go. They're always friendly and helpful. Their sourdough is top-of-the-line and I love their Asian chicken salad. Two suggestions; I wish they delivered - it would be such a great alternative to the typical greasy pizza delivery! And I like to would recommend that they switch back to their old recipe for the Thai curry with chicken soup -minus the seafood! And carry it more often - it was my favorite! read more

A place never return too! Had the chunky cinnamon french toast. Which was suppose to be awesome, not anything about this place was awesome. The seating is ridiculous like sharks in the ocean waiting fighting for decent seating. Over crowded! Over everything. Now the customer service was bad the cashier acted as if she hated her job, and hated us for being there. The ambience was bad. we stood a good half waiting for seating to open up meaning waiting for people to finish eating then deciding to leave. The french toast was horrible the crust was hard and it tasted stale not fresh at all. The caramel sauce was chunked not melty at all. Canoli's tasted burned. Fruit tart was alright the cream filling was similar to buttered frosting. Family establishment. I don't think so. My Co-Worker brought us some and that was to die for a fiesta went off on out taste buds. But never again will dine in. We will try the drive thru next time, hopefully it won't be as bad. Their Greek omelette are the best having that feta cheese was fantastic! The environment is very homely. They always have some good tasters on display and a wonderful section of treats. read more

We walked in at 10:57 craving a breakfast sandwich. We got to the register by 11:02, and asked if we could still order breakfast, as it says on the sign that they only serve until 11. The manager refused to look us in the eye while talking to us, which was very unnerving and said no. It was incredibly frustrating, as he said, looking at the wall, that they had put everything away. Ate here today. It was so yummy! I had chicken noodle soup and my hubby had autumn bisque. They were both yummy. We ordered a panini to share. It had chicken and artichokes on focaccia bread. So good. The soup comes with bread so we had way too much food. Great quick service too. read more

The wait for the drive thru is OUTRAGEOUS. We went here on a road trip caravaning with another car. A friend in the car behind us hopped out of the backseat, ran in and ordered at the counter, got her food and hopped back in the other cat LONG before we finished in the drive thru. Well, I really like Kneaders. Their deserts are really good, just expensive - which goes with the territory I guess. But that isn't what gets them three stars. Took my daughter to lunch there today and I had their signature turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. Tastes were good. However, when the price on the menu for a sandwich is $7.99, you expect a decent sandwich. This sandwich was sparsely populated with ingredients and I was rather disappointed. I note that they only have three stars, and it appears that they are earning it. Keep it up much longer and the loyal following will start to fall off. Maybe next time I'll take it back and tell them to make it a $7.99 sandwich or give me my money back. read more

So disappointed in this Kneaders. I ordered a pesto chicken Pannini. Hardly enough chicken to even bite into it was such a thin piece of meat. There was only 1.5 pieces of small spinach on the sandwich. This was a $9 sandwich! So not worth it!! My sister ordered a half a roast beef sandwich. It contained only 2 small pieces of roast beef. When we asked about the lack of meat, we were told they only put 1.5 oz of meat on each sandwich. But this was clearly not even close to an ounce and a half of meat. My advice is to skip your visit to Kneaders. Try Zupa's or go to Habit for a burger or salad. You wallet and stomach will thank you. read more

The first time I went to Kneaders my sandwich was great, I LOVED it! the last 3 times I've gone my order has been messed up & I even told the person in the drive thru it was wrong & told her what I wanted & they still made it wrong! I understand lunch time is busy & maybe I shouldn't go through the drive thru anymore but this is ridiculous! I don't want to keep getting free sandwiches (which I have twice now) I want to actually get what I ordered! I'm to the point to where I will drive to Ogden to get my food!! I am very displeased because its not only my food that's been messed up but other coworkers & friends!! I don't want to be that crazy person that keeps calling or going in telling them they messed up my order because those people are annoying & lets be honest how many of them are probably telling the truth. I hope they read this review & realize maybe the way they are taking orders needs to change so that way I don't have to drive all the way down to Ogden from Kaysville. I really am not trying to be rude I'm just very tired of them not listening & my order getting messed up. read more
