So Einstein bagels is a chain that over the years has produced some great memories. Like many chains, it got hit really hard during Covid, and like many doesn't seem to have recovered. This location in particular is run very poorly. Disorganized, lack of items, and inability to read a ticket. Throw in 4.38 for a single bagel and it's a recipe for closure. Twice now they can't read what I ordered with wrong bagel wrong topping and inability to actually toast the bagel when requested. Oh and they got rid of smoked salmon cream cheese. Wth? It's a BAGEL place and you can't get smoked salmon cream cheese? The lox and bagel portions keep getting smaller also. So charge more give less and expect people to put up with it? I used to have a long wait until I started ordering online with curbside pickup, but today I waited over an hour for one sandwich. I called them after I had waited for 20 minutes and they said it would be another 20 minutes and I would have to contact them online if I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. I called again after the hour and they said they guess they can just make it right now. If they were crazy busy I would understand, but I just watched people for that whole hour go in and order, wait for about 10 minutes, and leave with their orders. Lately I cannot seem to to have any good experiences with this Ogden location. I did ask if I could speak to their manager and they said that he is not available. read more

Staff is always so nice when i come in!! The food is great! I like to get the tasty turkey or a blueberry muffin! Both are always delicious!! I wish there was more seating inside but the seating they have inside isn't bad for when i need to write an essay for school. The music they play is also very nice!!! read more

Stopped here for some breakfast on a road trip heading back to California. The food was great and they met our every request! This is the AMAZING part of this store experience that I would like to share: After leaving the store and driving back towards California (we were 3 hours away at this point) I realized I didn't have my wallet. I knew immediately I had left it in the restroom at Einstein Bros. After calling the store and explaining what happened, the manager offered to ship my wallet to my house in California! I told them I wished I had cash in the wallet and even offered to venmo them but they refused and sent it to me anyways. Within 2 days I received my wallet in the mail and i could not be more grateful. Way to show integrity and be good people! You guys are awesome and if I'm ever back in South Ogden I'll definitely be stopping here for breakfast :) read more

Bagels are greater than Doughnuts. It's true. I've always been a fan of savory over sweet. I'm also a fan of great deals and Einsteins offers great deals over FB and email newsletters. Did ya know that they make their bagels fresh every few hours? It's true, they do! They also have great orange juice, yummy coffee, and excellent service. I'm a big fan on the onion bagel with veggie schmear. The veggie is my favorite!! But they have other great cream cheeses. Also, the service here is generally great! They've always been fast, helpful, and nice. If you drink your coffee in house you can get free refills too! read more

I can't quite believe that no one has reviewed this particular Einstein's yet! Nice people, good food and I LOVE that they have low calorie alternatives. The bagel thin sandwiches and panini are very tasty and you don't have to go looking for a super-small board or a tiny leaflet to tell you what the calorie total is - it's right up there on the main menu board. They even have a low fat Honey and Almond Schmear! Mmm... We go often and will continue to do so! read more

Went to Einsteins at 11am on a Monday. Four people were working behind the counter. I've never seen people move slower. The gal working the register didn't even to bother to look at us while we were waiting for her so we could pay. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because a guy named Chris, working behind the counter really was trying to take care of people. It's pretty hard to screw up an order when you're the only one in the building, but they managed to do it. A simple request like mine (please replace the swiss cheese with cheddar) shouldn't be an issue. Not sure why things like this get missed, but it's really irritating to find the mistake after you've left and gotten all the way to your destination to discover it. Also, will someone please explain this "no contact" payment process where you place your card in a silly little tray, the worker picks it up, swipes it and places it back in the tray for you to pick up. How is that "no contact"? You touch it, they touch it, you touch it again. Wouldn't it save time to just HAND them the card that you're both going to touch anyway? Do not go to this location I place a app order for curbside 30 minutes later many customers came and went after I placed my order had to call them numerous times to see where is my order because Its been 30 minutes and they keep saying I'm working on the drinks so do not go here because they will not put you in line with regular people curbside up orders are put on the back burner so do not go to this location unless you have so much time to burn. On top of that I asked them to make two of my iced coffee extra extra extra extra sweet it wasn't sweet. Lived in Ogden for 11 years. Stopped at this shop every chance I had. Got an everything bagel MAYBE once in all times I went. Back in town visiting, waited half an hour to be offered blueberry or cinnamon sugar bagels. So over this place. Went to Smiths and got six everything bagels and they were cheaper too. Coffee was ok. Food is pretty good. But was told we had to leave when attempting to sit outside and eat, with our dog sitting at the table. Apparently their sidewalk chairs/tables are considered part of the establishment and having a dog sitting there is a health violation. As the previous poster mentioned, everything is covered in bird poop. Not sure what health violation my lab was contributing. read more

Coffee is out or not hot most of the time. The outdoor patio is shabby and filthy, with bird poop on the chairs and spills all over the cement. Upper income area near university, you could think the owner would care more. I keep coming cuz I like eagles, their coffee and open Sundays, but eventually if they don't get it together I'll find some place else or stay home and so will all the other people that have money to spend. read more
