I ordered the Bacon Avocado Egg Bowl, which was bland and very wet / soggy. It did not taste good. The toast that comes with it had nothing on it, it was just plain dry bread. I was hoping to at least get some butter! The spinach also wasn't really cooked in the eggs, it's like they placed spinach down in the bowl, then added warm eggs on top, which partially wilted the spinach. I also ordered an Everything Bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was unevenly cooked and hard as a rock. It was difficult to chew. I needed more cream cheese to try and swallow it, but I ran out and didn't finish the bagel. I won't be coming here again to try their food and don't recommend it. read more

Had not been to the Corner Bakery for a couple of years. It is not near our home. Today, was the second time I've been in two weeks. Very nice menu. Plenty of selections. The food was very good. This is a cute place with good breakfast options. My daughter and I came and asked for the most popular items but the lady kept telling us "everything." It's always nice when we are able to get a good recommendation, it makes it harder to choose without one. Anyway, we picked what we thought looked the best on the menu, however, the real food served to us of course did not look that way. Here is what we got: Chai Tea Late Anaheim Scramble Breakfast Wrap I do recommend the chai and the scramble, they are both pretty good. I do NOT recommend the wrap, however. It's mostly tortilla and pretty dried out. They do have some fun bakery items that look pretty awesome but I didn't try them after feeling a bit disappointed. These guys have good food, no doubt. But being charged $3 for the tiniest side of pasta salad I've ever seen is absolutely outrageous. It's worth 50 cents, MAYBE. Also, the Chicken carbonara, despite having bacon in it, is completely flavorless, and sticky and gluey due to a lack of sauce. I'm literally adding things to it from my kitchen to make it palatable. I've had better experiences when I've been there in person, which is why I DoorDashed these guys, but I'm extremely disappointed in this food, and I'm offended by the cost of the tiniest, 3-bite side order I've ever seen. A great café located in a neighborhood in desperate need of dining options. Corner Bakery opened up recently and has really done a stellar job of getting it right the first time and not really needing that "performance curve" that a lot of restaurants have needed. The food is fresh, flavorful, and has a great presentation. Wait staff is familiar with the menu and there are not "dirty looks" given when you call an audible and order something a little different. When I first moved to UT, i thought this place was stupid. It still is in my eyes. It's popular for no reason, it's always empty, and it's a place for a bunch of old people and Karens to catch up. However, I must say their pancakes are the best pancakes I've had in my life. Just their pancakes. The rest of their food is stuff you can make on your own at home. When I walk in it's more of an Italian type of restaurant with pasta but then also cafe type food with soups and panini/sandwiches. My husband and I love to stop into CornerBakery in the morning before work to grab breakfast (he always gets a chicken sausage egg panini and I the hot oatmeal with all the toppings) and they are always great! Sometimes when we get there, however, the oatmeal isn't done so the nice lady st the front offers to stick it in the microwave to make sure it's cooked enough. Eh, I don't mind usually! For lunch the servings are HUGE and we almost always use a coupon to get $3 off or something so it's extremely affordable as well. We usually get a half salad and half sandwich and are always surprised at how big the salads are! They're delicious and filing too with lots of toppings. My absolute favorite thing here is the sweet crisps. So yummmy. The one thing I don't like is the manager. Anytime he is around, I feel like his employees are uncomfortable and not happy and he's kind of loud and obnoxious. Every time he is there, we feel like we are being inconvenient to him as a customer - almost like he's too busy to serve us and he talks polite but his tone of voice is irritated! I have given this place so many chances and I give up. I won't go back. I have eaten here a few times with my husband and kids and it's just average. But my bad experiences have come with to go orders and when I have picked up door dash orders. There are a couple girls here that are great but a majority of them (especially the manager) leave a lot to be desired. They desperately need a course in customer service. I imagine they are so rude to the door dashers and Uber eats drivers because they aren't the end consumers BUT what they fail to realize is that these drivers are bringing them the delivery business they would otherwise not have. It's in their best interest to help these folks out as well , if not better, than the people that are dining there. As a consumer I won't be eating here again and as a delivery driver I will refuse orders from here. Hope they get it together. read more

Reminds me a bit of Panera bread, but definitely on a different level. They've got good breakfasts - scrambles, panninis, pastries, etc. And their coffee - nom nom. There's even the coveting hazelnut flavored coffee. Downgrading to three stars since the food seems small for the price, but it's good none the less. Ordered a Prime Rib & Provolone Panini with meat that was little more than chopped dry roast beef. It also had what I call jarred mushrooms. You know, the rubbery ones that you get from a jar in the grocery store rather than the fresh ones. Description read "Sauteed Mushrooms" but there's no way these saw the inside of a sautee pan in the last year. Disgusting. I also ordered a small dessert, the chocolate baby bundt cake, to go with it and was surprised at how bad it was given they're supposed to be known for great desserts. Dry and hard to swallow. Their food is fantastic! I've had some of their pastas and they were delicious. They have quite a variety of food items to choose from. I've never disliked anything I've ordered so far. They serve you in a timely manner and are polite. It's a chain restaurant so you'll be able to find them at other locations throughout Utah (which is how I found out about this restaurant in the first place). This location in particular has a great garage, outdoor patio to eat at or you can head indoors and enjoy the atmosphere there. read more

Good, not great. Hits the spot in a pinch, especially when they send out email offers like 2-for-1. Pretty much everything on the menu is decent. I don't really have any favorites. I used to - it was the steak sandwich but they totally changed it and now it's just ok. The only thing I don't like is the chicken noodle soup. How do you screw that up, right? Oh - and they only give you a cup size soup with the bread bowl but charge you full price plus a premium. There's never enough soup. Just a lot of bread. Wildcard: try the blueberry hand pie. The only thing that I really like here is the soups, which are really good. The mac n cheese gets 2 thumbs down, so disappointing. It was so bland, I ate about 3 bites before throwing it away. One item of note: I have been in 3 times in the past month and have ordered and paid online for my order. All 3 times when I went in I walked right up to the To-Go order sign and all 3 times the General Manager has been up there twiddling his thumbs while the employees ring up customers. He seriously never even made eye contact with me. Today, he was busy using a label maker because I guess grabbing my order and handing it to me (literally the amount of effort required as I pre-paid) was way to much effort on his part. Really cute and clean on the inside! This new cafe in Ogden serves of plenty of sandwiches, salads and soups. It also has a great selection of baked desserts and bread which you can either buy a slice of or the entire amount to take home. We had the bacon mac and cheese and the asian sandwhich along with hot chocolate and a strawberry banana smoothie. All of it was very good and the service was great! A bit pricey.
