Stopped by just to check this place out while on our way to moon raker which is in walking distance. I have to say I was not a fan of the IPAS based on the color of my beers I could already tell I wasn't going to like them .I really like my IPAS hazy. If they look like orange juice chances are I will love it. The options here in fact did not look like orange juice lol but I did get two flights of the IPAs of all types, some were veryyyyy strong and or bitter. The hazy they had I was able to tolerate however I honestly am just not a fan probably will not be back unless they have some other hazy options. One thing I really appreciated was the popcorn machine . OMG I love popcorn and it was a really nice touch I wish more breweries had. Customer service was exceptional. We were in the area and thought we would check what beers were on tap. Parking is a shared lot with other businesses. There is an outdoor area to sit but it was a cold day so we sat inside. The dog was ready to go inside. They offer a huge selection of beers to choose from. There is more indoor seating and televisions to watch sports. I ordered a flight since there were so many. Love the fact that we can drink while your team members are brewing and operating. Clean and organized. No food trucks till 3pm, so we left early to go to Moonraker, see other Yelp review. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Corporate headquarters next door. Dog friendly, smoking section. Open 7 days a week from 11 am to 8 or 9pm, see my picture. Typical brewery tucked in an industrial park. That said, they have a nice patio area set up next to their food truck vendor. Plenty of friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you. Recommend you get a flight to experience a few of their well crafted beers. Inside there is a shuffleboard table along with typical bar games. We tried four IPAs and a stout. All were outstanding. I started going to this place back in 2014, before anyone knew who they were or Auburn became a waste of a good town full of Bay Area snobs. However, I still hold my favorite beers from here and greatly miss going now that we are out of state. 10/10 for their IPAs and service. Went with the dogs on Labor Day. The 'hot dog guy' was there which was fun having a really good hot dog lunch. The beers are really good all around - different IPA styles to choose from - hazy citrus to tropical to the drier styles. You must try the Beautiful Blonde!! It's very light and doesn't have a bitter after taste. I'm not a big drinker so beer expertise might be lacking so take my advice as you will, lol. Some friends and I decided to have a pre-Christmas gathering at Knee Deep Brewery. There is plenty of seating so we were able to sit at a large table that fit everyone. I decided to get a flight so that I could try some of their light beers. I ended up only finishing the Beautiful Blonde. That one was by far the tastiest! I honestly don't remember the names of the others I tried, lol. We were able to grab lunch since there was a food truck on site. The bar tender was extremely nice and super knowledgeable. The atmosphere is so inviting and we were able to play some corn-hole while we were there. I would definitely recommend this brewery to anyone looking for a place to try a few taps. read more

First time here, and definitely won't be my last. I've heard about it for a couple of years now at least, and I've seen their beers out in the wild... but never made the trip to see it in person. The first surprise for me was... it's right next to the airport! I love airports. Watching planes come and go traces way back to my childhood since my dad was a private pilot and often took me out to the airport just to sit and watch (and listen to traffic on the radio). Second observation... not really good or bad on the whole... but people bring dogs here. I love dogs. I don't love dogs that bark back and forth at each other endlessly when I'm trying to have a conversation with someone. That part was frustrating. Dog owners... please... I know it's too much to expect to keep your dogs from barking of misbehaving AT ALL, but please make some sort of minimal effort in this area? Beyond that, loved the place! They have a huge selection of brews, and a solid offering of food from a food truck parked out front. We actually went there for dinner and dinner was good! I had the Shrimp Po'boy, which hit the spot. I didn't have beer. I'm not a huge beer person - I'll have it on occasion, but generally prefer mixed drinks and wine over beer. The bartender asked me a few questions and suggested a cider. She gave me a couple samples, I picked one and it was great. I went here from Santa Rosa to get Breaking Bud on tap and they didn't have. I did buy some glassware. I'm going again at end of this week to visit a friend and they're going to drive from Pollock Pines as a treat. I'm really hoping they have what I like on tap. No one in Santa Rosa has this other than in cans at BevMo and the two packs I gor are way outdated and don't taste good. I'm looking forward to this trip!!! read more

Knee Deep is an ideal gathering place whether you are joining a friend or bringing a large group together. The interior is industrial (warehouse-y), expansive, and family friendly, as they have lots of picnic-style tables and game options. I came in on a Wednesday evening during their happy hour. I believe it was $2 off pints. The draft list was so huge that it was almost too tough to choose! I ended up going with a west coast IPA, which was fresh and easy to drink. The bartender was friendly as well. We were heading to a wedding rehearsal dinner, otherwise we would've checked out the Italian food truck outside! I'll be back to try a flight. After unable to even find a spot to park to wait in line for a shuttle in we said screw it and headed to Knee Deep. So glad we did! I have been before but forgot how nice it is. We came back in yesterday, and it just didn't have the unforgettable memory it left prior to our visits. yeah we ordered some food from the food truck tacos and some nacho fries and they were terrible and cost us $29 for it. It was packed this Sunday at 3:00 PM with only a few available tables that weren't really available (reserved but not being used 20 minutes into their reservation time; not a fan of that system...). Hubby and I stood at a counter and sipped a 4-sample taster set of Knee Deep brews we hadn't tried (or couldn't remember). Didn't love any, unfortunately. The Citra Pale was the best of the lot. The Tahoe Blue and Springtime Something were both left on the tray (bummer!), but we drank the Sac Fly PA. Highlights: If it hadn't been raining, outdoor seating might have alleviated the cramped standing-room-only quarters and 2 of 4 beers were enjoyable. Bummers: Reserving tables and then letting them sit empty while your other patrons are standing around trying to hold brews and toddlers is not such a great visual, and, even though I am a dog lover, I'm officially over having to navigate around large and tiny Fido's in every brewery, restaurant, and store these days. read more

I had just recently visited Tahoe Brewing about a month ago and their excuse to lack of service was due to these sensitive COVID-19 times. Now I get that the interaction isn't the same as it once was, but this brewery proved themselves that you can be rockstars at service while maintaining the facility safe. The beer and the food were on point. I love how they have two different menus. Their common beers on one and the small batch items on another. The beer was amazing as always and the food truck had some tasty food. There is some nice hiking near by and this was the best way to finish up the day. We stopped by to pick up some beer to take home, and we received great service and advice from our server. It was our first time at this brewery, and I was surprised by the big selection of beer. We told the server what we were looking for and what we typically like, and provided some samples of what she recommended. Her recs were spot on. We tried both sours and really enjoyed the coconut one. For a traditional IPA, we went with the Birthday Suit.
