Stopped by just to check this place out while on our way to moon raker which is in walking distance. I have to say I was not a fan of the IPAS based on the color of my beers I could already tell I wasn't going to like them .I really like my IPAS hazy. If they look like orange juice chances are I will love it. The options here in fact did not look like orange juice lol but I did get two flights of the IPAs of all types, some were veryyyyy strong and or bitter. The hazy they had I was able to tolerate however I honestly am just not a fan probably will not be back unless they have some other hazy options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One thing I really appreciated was the popcorn machine . OMG I love popcorn and it was a really nice touch I wish more breweries had.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customer service was exceptional. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Most of their space is taken by brewing equipment but nice seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Once again stopped here on our way to Reno. This place is just awesome. Patrick is the best and is an asset to this company.

We were in the area and thought we would check what beers were on tap. Parking is a shared lot with other businesses. There is an outdoor area to sit but it was a cold day so we sat inside. The dog was ready to go inside. They offer a huge selection of beers to choose from. There is more indoor seating and televisions to watch sports. I ordered a flight since there were so many. There are 4 to a flight. I tried the sours. Some amazing colors. Staff are very helpful with trying to find some options to try.

I am glad I am finally spending more and more time in Auburn. This is a really cool and fun city. Quality/Quantity - What can I say, I just like their beer. Just look at all their awards! Ended up buying a 24 pack case for the road!! I might even share??? I also buy your Tahoe Deep all the time at Costco!! I like your artwork on your cans. Atmosphere - Warehouse brewery atmosphere. Love the fact that we can drink while your team members are brewing and operating. Clean and organized. No food trucks till 3pm, so we left early to go to Moonraker, see other Yelp review. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Corporate headquarters next door. Dog friendly, smoking section. Open 7 days a week from 11 am to 8 or 9pm, see my picture. Tuesdays: Trivia night & $4 pints. Service - Good, one man army. Plus there were not many customers. Many regulars. Price - Less expensive than Moonraker, better beer, but NO food till 3pm... $2 to $2.50 a taster. $6+ a pint. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2010.

Typical brewery tucked in an industrial park. That said, they have a nice patio area set up next to their food truck vendor. Plenty of friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you. Recommend you get a flight to experience a few of their well crafted beers. Inside there is a shuffleboard table along with typical bar games. We tried four IPAs and a stout. All were outstanding. Cheers!

Light Flight... the Beautiful Blonde is on the far left.

You must try the Beautiful Blonde!! It's very light and doesn't have a bitter after taste. I'm not a big drinker so beer expertise might be lacking so take my advice as you will, lol. Some friends and I decided to have a pre-Christmas gathering at Knee Deep Brewery. There is plenty of seating so we were able to sit at a large table that fit everyone. I decided to get a flight so that I could try some of their light beers. I ended up only finishing the Beautiful Blonde. That one was by far the tastiest! I honestly don't remember the names of the others I tried, lol. We were able to grab lunch since there was a food truck on site. The bar tender was extremely nice and super knowledgeable. The atmosphere is so inviting and we were able to play some corn-hole while we were there. I would definitely recommend this brewery to anyone looking for a place to try a few taps.

This place does a lot of things right and yesterday was a good reminder of that. The space is really cool. They have private rooms you can book for events, cute little nooks to hang out in, and the back area is massive and covered which was perfect for a big event like this. They also had a second bar set up outside and a few food trucks which was a nice touch. Oh and lots of dogs, always a plus. Their beer selection is super expansive, all kinds of styles and they have beer slushies! The staff were genuinely so friendly even though it was slammed. I asked for a ton of samples before deciding on one and they were totally cool about it without making me feel bad at all. Really appreciated that. Live bands were a fun idea but they were pretty loud, like conversation was kind of a struggle at times. Also not really a kids at breweries person but that's just me. My biggest gripe though is the bathrooms. Four restrooms for an event that size is just not it. Bring in some mobile restrooms for big events, something, anything. It's such an easy fix and makes a huge difference when you're waiting in a long line after a few beers. Still one of my favorite spots and I'll keep making the drive up even though its over an hour away.

When you walk up to Crooked Lane Brewing, you notice the exquisite architecture. It stands out, as it should! When you get a little closer, you notice the big tinted windows and a beautiful patio for outdoor seating. **Bonus!! They are pet friendly for the patio area! When you walk in, it's vibrant, very modern with very high ceilings. It's a very big a spacious area with long tables and tall chairs throughout. There is a long bar top with tall chairs, too. Behind them, is a window where you can see the fermentation vessels. **fun fact Throughout the various stages of brewing, the beer is moved between a few different specialized tanks, each with a specific name. My friend was already there, and I walked up to the front and checked out their beer lists. I really liked that they had craft hard seltzers. Those are so delicious in a hot summer day. I went with the pomegranate raspberry orange... aka, the Pro! They had plenty to choose from. They were nice enough to give me a few tasters. They also offer a few wines and they had 2 frozen icee machines twirling with frozen Lemon Berry Seltzer and frozen lemonade I walked with my drink to sit with my friend. While looking around, I saw that they sell the chips from a local merchant called The Crazy Gringo.. who I have purchased salsa/tamales from at the Auburn Faith Farmers Market (Thursdays). There are shirts, snacks, mugs, and more. A wedding just happened to finish on the other side where there is more outdoor seating. **Bonus, this is a great place for big gatherings whether it's a birthday or another type of gathering, book it here!! While sitting and chatting, you can smell their delicious pizza. So I walked up to grab a menu and ended up ordered the pepperoni & sausage pizza.... yes, with ranch! They brought it out to us with cheese and peppers, too. I would compare it to a small size, definitely bigger than a personal size pizza. Great amount of toppings... mmm!! This one is pretty good. It was great without ranch, but I had to try their ranch and that was tasty. We hung out there for a while and it really started to get busy. Sometimes, there is a taco truck outside and it smells super good Crooked Lane Brewery is family-friendly and offers beer flights. They have a few TVs for sports. The food here is limited as there is no in-house kitchen, but features rotating food trucks. In house they offer pizzas, small bites appetizers, salad and sandwiches. They occasionally have events like live music and trivia nights, and I like that they support the women's Iron Rose Football Club. Next time I'm here, I'm going for a beer flight!

This was such a cool find!…read more We came to town for a family members birthday party and wanted to stop by a brewery for lunch and check out the area. The place was way bigger than what I was expecting! The parking lot is huge, and it was packed! You order your beverage and food at the bar and they pour you your drinks and give you a pager for the food. I was impressed to see the food was coming out of a food truck for how large the venue is. I was drinking the Mexican lager, served with salt and lime. I thought it was super tasty, I liked it a lot. My husband was drinking the hazy ipa which had a pretty high percentage, I believe like a 7.5%! It was surprisingly easy to drink and fruity. Food we ordered the BLT and it was served with house made pickles and potato salad. The potato salad had cheddar cheese inside it, I like that twist. I ordered the pizza pretzel and at first thought $18.50 is pretty steep pricing for a pretzel but let me tell you, the pictures do not do the size justice. It is literally the size of a pizza! So big, covered in mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Came with plenty of dipping sauce too. I loved it, it was so fresh and delicious, and perfect to share! I had more than half leftover to take home! Check this spot out it was pretty rad, they had live music and the vibes were great! We could've hung out here all day perfectly content.

Unfortunately, a couple of negative interactions with staff these past couple weekends have overshadowed what should be a great experience (we came twice and brought friends whom have never been before both times). On the two separate visits, I encountered employees (2) who were unfriendly, unwelcoming, and uninterested in customer service. On my most recent visit, one bartender was noticeably rude to me on more than one occasion during the same visit, so it didn't feel like a misunderstanding or an isolated moment. Later, I asked who the manager was because I had a question about the air bnb and was directed to another girl who appeared inconvenienced and offered no greeting or assistance. Even a simple "Can I help you with something?" would have gone a long way. I assumed the less-than-warm service might have been due to the crowds and busy environment, but after experiencing the same thing again on our next visit, it feels more like a personal issue than a one-off bad day. It's unfortunate because the property is beautiful, the beer is good, and this brewery has so much going for it. We bragged about this place to our friends and then felt embarrassed after we got the eye-roll treatment. With so many great breweries to choose from, friendly customer service matters. A smile, a greeting, and basic courtesy aren't a big ask, but they make a huge difference in whether customers decide to come back.
