My favorite place to eat Jersey mikes is by a body of water, but this time I went for lunch during work. I went right around noon, and there was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly. The employees worked efficiently. I normally do the turkey and provolone, but this time I got the club sub. I actually really liked it. I got it on the rosemary parm bread. It's soooo good! I also got it mikes way. I love the oil and vinegar. I think it give the sandwiches such a good flavor, and it doesn't get it too soggy. This sandwich had so much meat. I got the regular size, and it was so big I got two meals out of it. The price isn't bad for how much you get! They have a Pepsi fountain as well as a fridge full of beverages. The inside has tables, and some people were dining in. There were also lots of people picking up or taking it to go. read more

Yelpers, beware of the incredibly shady management practices at this location. It is run by a franchise group called Laguna Capital Partners, and they clearly care more about manipulating their online ratings than they do about their local customers. I used to be a regular here, specifically for the Hot Italian sub. Recently, corporate decided to discontinue it. It's an absurd policy considering they still have every single ingredient to make it sitting right there on the prep line, so I initially left a 1-star review on Google out of frustration. Almost immediately, a local manager left me a personalized voicemail. He told me the refusal was just a "pricing miscommunication" and explicitly promised that the store would continue to make the sandwich for me. Thinking this was a stellar example of a local business looking out for its regulars, I happily bumped my review up to 5 stars. It was a complete bait-and-switch. The exact same day I changed my rating, I received an email from an executive at Laguna Capital Partners completely contradicting the voicemail, stating they actually would not make the sub. I replied directly, attached the audio file of their own manager's voicemail, and asked for a simple "yes or no" clarification so I wouldn't waste my time driving down there. They completely ghosted me. They deployed a manager to make false promises to a regular customer purely to artificially inflate their metrics, and then hid behind corporate policy the second they got the 5-star rating they wanted. I explicitly told them I didn't want the free coupons they tried to throw at me--I just wanted to purchase my favorite sandwich. If you value businesses with integrity that actually care about the Cottonwood Heights community, take your money to a different sub shop. read more

I really love Jersey Mikes. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Staff is nice and friendly. However, the sandwich process needs to be more efficient. I realize every order is fresh. By cutting each meat one at a time and having to swap meat cheese in the cutter is very time consuming. Maybe put one person on the meat and cut in bulk. It's still fresh. Every time I am here there is a line. And each sandwich takes 7-10 min. Ugh. But I'll still come here. read more

Wanting a sandwich for lunch and this place wasn't fast from jobsite. Busy joint but i went with the original Italian on wheat and i got it the Mike way. When i got the sandwich it was on rosemary. Man, I think these are the nicest guys at any deli in the country right here. Every single time I've been here (3 times, to be precise) I've marveled at the friendliness of the staff. I mean, I want to have a Debbie downer apply and record the thing just to see how the interview goes. Cause I suspect, if you are a sad face emoji, you ain't gonna like working here. The cold sandwiches are pretty solid. Kinda sorta like the rosemary parmesan bread, which goes against every fiber of my internal bread selection process. The Italian sub was hecka good. Example Close your eyes right now and think of the single dish your Mom cooked for you as a kid that you loved more than any other. Good? Ok. When you see that item on a menu, your synapses and neurons can allow you to visualize that dish and of course, your tastebuds allow you to feel like you can taste it. Right? I know I'm right. But then you order it off the menu and it disappoints and you feel a slight sting. That's pride, fu.... wait, Pulp Fiction reference is over!! Moral of the story. The cheesesteaks are not so good. Generally a great sandwich spot, one i prefer over Subway or Jimmy Johns. Jersey Mikes offers an open sandwich environment with a few tvs playing sports to keep you entertained. Noise level is good and you don't have to yell to carry a conversation with company. They offer a variety of sandwiches both hot and cold. The bread is far superior to other sandwich chains and a big seller. They also offer a number of Beef & Chicken cheesesteaks. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheesesteak this time around. It was good, but the ranch adds a clashing flavor to the cheesesteak tradition and felt a bit out of place. They also forgot to put bacon on it, so maybe that is the missing touch. Overall the sandwich wasn't bad and left me more satisfied than that of other shops i had visited this week. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. read more

STOLE MY MONEY!!! Yes, I will say it again this business stole my money. I placed an order for pick up at 11:45 AM on their app. Once I checked out the app said that the food would be ready for pick up at 12:02 PM. This was 17 minutes after I place the order and fit with my tight schedule at the time. I got to the store just before noon and went in to see whether the food was ready, it was not. I went in two other times to check on the food and it was still not ready by 12:17 PM. This was 32 minutes after placing the order and 15 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. The employees were "so busy" helping a small handful of people that they couldn't even answer how much longer the wait would be. I left the store to make my appointment and called the store when I left. They did not answer. I then called again at 2 PM and spoke with ISAAC. Isaac pretty much told me that there was no problem but since I used shore points that he would need a manager to refund the money. He said that that manager would be in at 4:30 and while he was trying to place me on hold hung up on me. I then waited until 4:30 PM and called the store for the third time now. Isaac answered the phone again with a very different attitude this time. It seem to me that he got a peptalk from a manager after telling them the story about me calling in. He said "since there is nothing wrong with the food I cannot refund your money". I asked him and asked him repeatedly to explain how me having to wait over 17 minutes after the order was supposed to be done was not cause for a refund. He had no good answer and frankly was a smart ass. I then told him I was going to call the corporate office (which I did and got nowhere) and also leave bad reviews on every platform I could. Previous to this experience I went to Jersey Mike's at least weekly. If they want to steal my money I will not be enjoying their borderline subway sandwiches and take myself to a reputable company like Jimmy John's or firehouse subs. It's really unfortunate that the "manager" couldn't fulfill a simple and justifiable customer service request. Bad people and bad business practices. Expensive, loud, far too liberal use of the terms cappacuolo and prosciuttini to describe their water heavy, processed meats, and a tip line for nothing more than making your food. My last visit the employee making my sandwich never made eye contact and I thought he was making the sandwiches for the customer ahead of me. It wasn't until he started to wrap it that I figured it was mine. His manager offered to make another sandwich, which wasn't necessary because i just wanted something additional on it, but the miscommunication could have been solved prior to this by lower volume music, better communication, and eye contact and his initial reaction was defensive which ticked me off. The food is fairly decent, but the cost is already far too high and the service - though efficient- is so minimal that the idea of asking for a tip is frankly insulting. read more

I really enjoyed the turkey wrap. The sub was underwhelming. It was good but I expected more flavor. The bread was dry, there was too much lettuce, I couldn't really taste the meat and cheese or the vinegar and oil. The best flavor on the sub was the banana peppers. The kids absolutely hated their sub. I do like that they had Sun Chips. I was disappointed they didn't have any Stubborn sodas. I like the sandwiches, they're super tasty even though they're expensive. This is basically a more expensive jimmy johns (i like jimmy johns more) which is why we only eat here when we have coupons. The ordering process was a little weird. I don't know if it's like this every time or if it was just an over staffed day but there were about 5 employees literally standing there just staring at us while someone made our sandwiches. For almost 5 minutes. So weird! Another thing I don't like is the tip option that shows up on the card reader. It shows up as soon as you swipe your card and just says tip? 10%, 20%, 30%, or something like that so you don't know the exact amount you're tipping until you confirm the total. And the cashier can see it all so you feel pressured to tip. But I'm so not about to tip $5 for 2 sandwiches and drinks! This isn't a sit down restaurant! And I'm all for tipping employees, I'm a good tipper. I just don't like to be pressured to it by a tiny evil card reader. read more
