    Scone
    Tara W.

My kid and I had a scone and drinks while ordering meals to go for the whole family. Chicken fried steak, all the breakfast, Philly and scone were really good. The hash browns felt like they were made with love. The fries were seasoned so nicely. The scone was straight from heaven. The bread on the Philly was amazing. Our server was happy to get us drinks and the scone while getting the to go order. She made sure everything was packed to not spill and gravy and au jus packed separately. She was kind and attentive. The cafe had classic vibes and was clean.

I was really excited to check this place out because I had heard so many good things about it! It's such a nostalgic, classic diner, and when you enter it feels so safe and familiar and comforting. Old school feel and vibe, reminded me of visiting my grandparents and going to their small town diner in upstate New York. It's tucked away behind the main center of "downtown" Holladay in a little strip mall type area with it's own parking lot. It was bustling when we went! Super busy, not a terribly long wait for two people, because they were bussing and turning tables very quickly. There aren't a ton of veggie options here, and I got their skillet special minus the beef. It was pretty bland, not a ton of flavor - scrambled eggs over some cheese covered potatoes and a few veggies. I can't remember what my partner got, but he really enjoyed his meal. I want to come back here to check out their lunch menu! A couple reviews mentioned that the service here wasn't great - I loved our server, it's just more of a hustling, turning tables kind of place. There's a lot of people waiting to get seated, and it's an in and out breakfast kind of place. If you're looking for something else, this spot probably won't be for you. I loved it, loved the vibe, our server was great, we ordered quickly, got our food quickly, and got out of there quickly. I'll absolutely be back - definitely to check out their lunch menu. For some reason I just know in my heart that this place serves a mean grilled cheese and fries.

Your typical diner breakfast! The staff was kind and made sure to include honey, jam, and ketchup for my to-go order which was prepared quickly. The skillet special was okay, the French toast and the sweet potato home fries were the highlights of the meal. You get quite a bit of food for the price you're paying!

Lunch was just okay today; I'll be back, but won't order the grilled cheese again. The cheese wasn't even melted and the bread was barely toasted. I asked for fries (they cost extra), but just received chips. The scone my dining companion ordered was spectacular! Not too thick, a little crispy, hot, and delicious with butter and honey. Honey butter would be even better! Oatmeal was good, but didn't come with bananas as ordered. Our server was super friendly and service was fast!

The cafe was more like a diner with the checkerboard pattern on the walls but they had some really cool looking sights on the walls. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. I got a scone omelette and hot chocolate and when I ordered the hot chocolate and the chocolate came like 20 seconds later and tasted amazing the scone was creamy and delicious but it didn't come with any honey butter so I made my own. Also the scone was huge!

One of the cutest breakfast places I've been in the valley! Locally owned, very kind staff, and soulful food. Not much is better than Sharon's on a cool morning outside on the patio.

I come here every Sunday! Staff is friendly, food is amazing, and prices are above reasonable. My go to order is their grilled chicken sandwich with tater tots. Absolutely delicious!

Watch out Olive Garden-Sharon's Cafe stole your old slogan without even trying! Because when you're here, you're family. The feeling I got when I walked into Sharon's Cafe is unmatched by any other cafe I've ever been to in a very long time. It's like walking into the kitchen of your childhood home and your entire family is there whipping up your favorite breakfast. Sharon's Cafe isn't over the top or pretentious. It's not the type of place where millennials will flock just to be seen. But that's what gives this place so much charm! It's got regulars. People who have clearly been dining there long and often enough that the waitress knows them by name and knows their beverage order before it's been said out loud. It's a no frills, classic diner food eating establishment and it's charming as hell. My friend and I ordered the veggie omelet with sweet potato home fries and a biscuit (yep, that's all included in one order) a side order of biscuits and gravy, and 3 slices of French Toast. This food is what diner dreams are made of. It's comforting, it's warm, and surprsingly grease-free. It may not win any awards anytime soon, but it will leave you feeling fappy (fat and happy). Our entire meal was prepared exceptionally well and the entire experience was one for the books. Sharon's Cafe is an absolute gem. Trust me when I say that Sharon's Cafe may truly be the "Best Breakfast in Town." I wish I lived closer because I could easily become a new regular.

Tried to find a place to eat close to our hotel. Actually found this on Google maps as it didn't show up on Yelp for some reason. This is your typical family run cafe with an assortment of food options to choose from. A hard working family trying to survive the Covid crush. My wife had the chicken fried steak and eggs over medium. The steak was a pounded down steak with a good amount of flavor. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and a cinnamon roll. They took the cinnamon roll, cut it up into pieces and put it in a bowl, which I thought was brilliant and convenient. The biscuits were good, but the gravy seemed basic. It tasted good, but seemed like packaged gravy with some cut up sausages thrown in it. All in all it was a good meal and served its purpose.

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. Kiaya (lord I hope that is right) was my server and she was excellent. I had a Pellegrino Blood Orange soda along with my lunch and loved the salad dressing as well! The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! PROS: Main street, easy access from transportation/offices Great selection of homemade pastries Nice choices for drinks (obviously, I tried a few) Super quaint bistro style inside Outside seating under shade and a tree Attentive and exceptional employees (CONNOR) CONS: Parking may be an issue, although some on-street parking available DON'T THINK, JUST GO! Lots of choices.

Without reservations, my coworker and I were able to sit at the bar right away although the restaurant was popping for a Monday night! Everything we had was DELICIOUS!!! The lamb tartare in harissa sauce intrigued me because come on, you never see lamb tartare; it is always beef tartare! It was so good and the grapefruit added a nice citrusy note to the dish! It paired perfectly with the potato chips. I saw several people at the bar with the Golden Eagle Black Cod dish so I felt reassured that I made a good choice and me oh my, did I!!! The cod melted in my mouth yet had a nice crispness to the skin! I devoured the whole dish and scraped off all the gochujang glaze too! For dessert, they were out of Lemon Blueberry Bliss which was my first choice. We got the Pistachio Entremet and for the pistachio lovers out there, this is your dessert!!! It has pistachio everything!! ;) Our bartender/server had great energy and customer service as well as the hosts! I left feeling so satisfied and blissfully full with the amazing meal! Kudos to the team at Urban Hill!!!! One quick side note: I appreciate how the restrooms had individually packaged floss picks! A nice touch indeed! ;)

Everyone is so friendly and the service is quick. I remark every single time about how quick they are to serve us our food. They have remembered my family and bring us our drinks without even needing to ask. Their food is delicious, and we appreciate the authenticity. If you haven't been, and aren't near by to partake in their amazing food regularly, you HAVE to try the Philly asada omelet. You won't regret it!! I saw a comment about the restaurant being dark, but the lighting seems great. Anything much brighter would probably upset my eyes, especially early in the morning (as that's when we typically go). Someone also mentioned the wait is long. The restaurant isn't huge, and if you go at a time when everyone else is also going, usually any time after 9, then of course it'll be busy. Go early and it'll be faster, but either way, the wait is completely worth it. Thank you, to the Our Kitchen Cafe family for being so kind to me and my family.
