I am so glad that I did! Before driving the 45+ minutes one-way, I called Factory Direct Mattress in Clinton, IA, and spoke with Domingo. After listening to my past experiences, what I was looking for, and my overall general requirements, he requested that I come to his store & "try on" some mattresses so he could see how each of the mattresses he offered reacted to my body type, shape, and weight. Domingo really knew his stuff...not just about mattresses, but also about food, health, & fitness, and he honestly could be a life coach in general! Within 15 minutes of meeting him, I felt like we had known each other our entire lives! Not only did I walk out of Factory Direct Mattress with a great new king-size mattress, box springs, bed frame, and mattress cover for a great price, but also with the peace of mind that Domingo actually takes care of his customers, and wants to retain his customers for life! The final straw was the refrigerator we purchased from them needed out of warranty service for a water leak. They repaired it in February 2024 and also had to return for the same problem July 2024, to the tune of $452.39. By September 2024, it was leaking again. They said they had done all they could to fix it (take my $). Farley's/Dixon came out and fixed it for $85.75. I have a new appliance store now. I have purchased a couple of new appliances from Farley's and am very pleased with their prices and service.
